Like an enchanting breath of fresh air, the nature inspired SPRING AWAKENS handmade earrings are perfect for the women who loves unique butterfly and flowers jewelry. The one of a kind earrings feature Mykonos butterfly charms and Czech glass flower beads. The beautiful butterfly charms were cast on the Greek island of Mykonos, created from a lead free pewter base and then covered with a layer of pure copper. The copper then was given an eye catching blue / green turquoise patina to bring out the incredible detail of the butterflies, which you can see in the photos above. As an added bonus, the butterflies are two sided, adding more allure to earrings.

Below each Mykonos butterfly is a lovely creamy white Czech glass pansy flower bead separated from the butterflies by a glowing copper bicone bead. To bring out the detail of the flowers and to give a wonderful vintage look, the two sided pansies were covered with an earthy brown Picasso finish. The finish was then polished off the faces of the beads but it was left in the recessed areas and on the edges defining the beauty of the flowers. Since both the butterfly charms and the pansy flowers are two sided, these earrings look fabulous from any angle. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the SPRING AWAKENS earrings were design as a perfect “pick me up” for the woman who adores wearing nature inspired artisan jewelry.
