August 2019 Chat

Hello everyone!  I need to take a break from group promotions.  I am finding that I don't have enough time to get all that I need to do for my own shop done so for now I will not be promoting here or on Jacki's Tuesday Tag promotions.  Thank you for all past promotion and your understanding of my break.  I hope to return next year.  Sharon

  1. Sorry I was late getting the August linkup posted. Preparing for a show, selling at a show and then dealing with the mass killing of people here in my wonderful, caring city. Been hectic.

Hope you share your items. Here's the link:

  3. Hi, I wanted to let you know that my husband is in the hospital in critical condition. He had a hernia and his intestines became twisted. He lost a section of them and as of today the hernia has been repaired. He will be in the hospital for at least a week and then rehab for another week if all goes well.

    4. Gee, Cathy, I somehow missed this before! So sorry to respond so tardily. I hope your husband is doing much better by now, and that he is out of rehab. Sending a big hug and major best wishes! Sir Gonze sends treat wishes to his furpals! xoxoxo

    5. PS I'm such a dope. Just noticed your most recent reply. Very sorry to hear about this. My guy was in a medical coma once, for almost 3 weeks, and it was rough coming out of it. I hope your husband can be taken off the sedation asap. Here comes another hug ... and all manner of good wishes and treats.

    6. Thank you, Mary.
He was in the coma for 10 days. He is now out of CCU and I hope being moved closer to me for rehab on Tuesday. He is very weak and can't think clearly but every day he improves just a little bit so that is progress.

    1. Thank you, Sharon. He has pneumonia, an inner ear infection and sinusitis. It's just one thing after another. He has been in a medical induced coma since the 15th. Everyday there is good news and then something else happens.

  5. It's hurricane season again. We are currently in the path of Dorian, but do not know how much in the path. It has been forecast at one point to land on my head, but now, it is moving around. The bottom line is I will be gone as of Sunday or Monday for awhile, but do not know where I will be. Have a plan, they say .... Anyway, the countdowns are up and will start on the 20th of September and continue every week until December 6. www.bmebluprint.blogspot.com There is a good chance that I will be just fine, and I will let everyone know after the fact. If you are interested, I live in Micco, which is on the Sebastian Inlet, which is between Melbourne and Vero Beach. I live on the inlet river side. This is not my first big hurricane, so we have plans. This is Hurricane Harry's first one! Have a great Labor Day and everyone stay safe.

    1. We got the prayer flags, we got the religious crosses, we got the Buddha statues and a St Francis of Assisi too, and they've all been asked to please send major good mojo to Micco and wherever any peregrinations lead you. You are so sweet to do the countdown ahead of time. Thank you. And please take best of care - and don't forget the treats. xoxoxo

    2. Prayers that the hurricane stays away from you and just goes back out to sea. Stay safe. Happy to hear it is about Countdown time. I have gallbladder surgery on the 11th so I will be ready by the 20th.
