Halloween Pumpkin Earrings, Jack O Lantern Orange Handmade Jewelry

The Jack O Lantern handmade earrings feature copper pumpkin charms with a grinning face, glossy orange lampwork glass beads and two types of black crystals - unique Halloween jewelry for women.

What a fun pair of one of a kind pumpkin earrings to wear to your favorite Halloween party no matter what your costume is! The grinning JACK O LANTERN handmade earrings feature unique artisan made copper Jack O Lantern pumpkins. To perfectly complement the copper dangles, rich orange artisan lampwork glass beads and two types of sparkling black crystals were used. You can’t help but smile when you see the Jack O Lantern pumpkin charms - they look like they are grinning from ear to ear (if pumpkins had ears!). The pumpkins were individually created: molded, shaped, carved and fired in a kiln from beginning to end from precious metal copper clay. Since the charms were torched at high heat to bring out the details, they have a rich, rustic copper patina on the front and back. As you can see, the detailing of the eyes, nose and mouth are exquisite, along with ridge lines that a pumpkin normally has. To add a pop of eye catching color, the pumpkin charms were paired with orange lampwork beads.  The lampwork beads have a high shine, glossy finish that catches and radiates light. Stacked above the orange lampwork beads are two types of crystals. The first are copper rondelles with a black metal finish that are set with a bevy of jet black Czech crystals.  The crystals might be on the smaller size but they add tremendous sparkle. To add even more glitter, nestled into the top of each rondelle is a single faceted Swarovski crystal bicone in a black color called "jet.". Sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents finish the fun earrings. Rhino Jackal Animal Earrings, Vintage Tin Swarovski Handmade Jewelry

 

The "Animalia" handmade earrings feature vintage tea tin animal dangles, Swarovski crystals and copper - unique animal jewelry for women.

Perfect handmade jewelry for the exotic animal lover, these unique, one of a kind ANIMALIA earrings are fun, looking as if they are antique Victorian animal art. The lightweight earrings feature vintage tin animal dangles with a rhinoceros and a jackal, Swarovski crystals and copper. Carefully hand cut, the animal dangles were reclaimed from a vintage tea tin. The edges of the dangles were ground to a silky smooth finish. The top animal is an illustration of a critically endangered Sumatran rhinoceros, which now is only found on the islands of Sumatra and Borneo. It’s an unusual looking animal with skin that has an armor-like appearance. The animal below the rhinoceros is a black-backed jackal found in eastern and southern Africa. It’s very fox-like in mannerisms and is mainly reddish with a black and silver “saddle” on its back with a bushy tail tipped in black. The back of the vintage tin dangles is a pale golden color with a mirror-like finish which does show a bit of wear.  To add eye catching sparkle to the earring design, a faceted Swarovski crystal bicone was carefully wire wrapped to sway below each of the animal tins. The color, a warm brown called “light Colorado topaz,” perfectly complements the earthy colors of the tins. A copper jump ring connects the dangles to a wonderfully texture rope design copper closed ring. Sterling silver French hooks, each with the addition of another brown Swarovski crystal, finishes the earrings perfectly. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the ANIMALIA earrings will be much loved by the woman who loves to wear unique animal jewelry.

Dark Blue Druzy Rhinestone and Hematite Bracelet, Purple Highlights, Chunky, Bold, Size Small Medium, OOAK

THE SINGING BEADER

This bracelet has an abundance of glittering dark blue druzy rhinestone quartz crystals with dazzling purple highlights. The druzy, also known as "drusy" stones are banded in gunmetal slider bezel settings. Gunmetal is a dark gray nearly black color. My photos do not capture the brilliance in the druzy crystals, they really sparkle!

The druzy crystal slider bezels have a unique nearly round shape and are double-strung with beading wire. Between each druzy, I added polished, oval-shaped hematite gemstones. The hematite gemstones match the gunmetal perfectly. The bracelet fastens securely with a slide-in clasp that has a magnet inside.

Bracelet measures 7 1/4”. Because of the bracelet's chunky style, it is recommended for a wrist size 6 to 6 /12”. 

The druzy crystals slider bezels measure approximately 18 mm (½“ x ¾”) and 4 mm thick. The hematite gemstones measure 4 mm x 6 mm.

For one who likes a chunky, bold design, with a lot of pizzazz and sparkle in their handmade jewelry. The embossed white cotton-filled gift box is perfect for gifting.

What Is Drusy:

Drusy or Druzy is the glittering effect of tiny crystals over top a colorful mineral. It is beautiful when used in making jewelry. One of the perks to drusy stones is that they are not as expensive as big faceted gemstones and they have sparkle and great color and it can be cut into various shapes with ease. The drusy quartz gems grow slowly over millions of years and are found as the very last layer of growth on agate or another colorful base. It does not always refer to quartz, druzy is any kind of mineral found in a plate-like form, such as garnets, calcite, dolomite, and malachite. Common colors are white, yellow, brown, red, and orange. Drusy style beads are great for centerpieces in pendants. While they look sparkly and delicate, druzy quartz is a fairly durable gem.

Triton, a glorious sea god and son of the great Poseidon.  What a powerful name for glass.  This Triton lampwork glass bracelet evokes the essence of power.  Powerful Triton features luxurious artisan handmade lampwork lentil beads with undertones of delicious rich gooey dark caramel color that lies beneath its metallic surface.  The luster was barely captured around the edges due to the curvature of the lentil shaped beads but its there shining all over these exceptional glass beads.  Grayish green faceted labradorite gemstones with their translucency and flash throughout the beads add excitement and splashes of color.  This gorgeous statement bracelet is dripping in sterling silver to complete the look and presence of power.

Chunky Heart Flowers Necklace, Copal Turquoise Brass Handmade Jewelry

The "Mon Coeur" handmade necklace features a vintage brass heart and flowers pendant, rich copal rondelles and vintage hand cut turquoise nuggets - bold jewelry for women.

Filled with beautiful chunky goodness, the one of a kind MON COEUR necklace is perfect for a woman who loves to wear bold statement jewelry. The eye catching necklace features a vintage brass heart with flowers pendant, gorgeous copal rondelles, old rustic turquoise and copper. The pendant was made in India out of solid brass and was used for trade in Africa - it was collected in Ghana. A cut-out heart shape, the pendant also includes three five petalled flowers and three swirling leafy vines. The raised areas are polished while the recessed areas have a darker patina to bring out the details of the pendant. The cut out design of the pendant allows whatever color clothing you’re wearing to show through, adding unexpected glamor. A decorative bail attaches the pendant to the main body of the necklace. The back of the pendant is silky smooth.  To perfectly complement the pendant, pressed copal and rustic turquoise were chosen. Even though the copal used in the necklace has an amber look to it, it is NOT amber (unfortunately copal is sometimes passed off as being real amber). Amber is fossilized tree resin and is millions of years old. Copal is also tree resin, but it hasn’t gone through the fossilization process and can be as “young” as thousands of years old. Pressed copal means it was melted down and reformed (pressed) into beads of the same size. The pressed copal rondelles used in the necklace are a rich butterscotch yellow with more than a hint of orange. Five groups of three copal rondelles are found on each side of the necklace, each rondelles separated by a glowing flower-shaped copper spacer. To add sinuous drape and pops of color between each grouping of copal, vintage turquoise were used. Since each bead of the old turquoise was individually hand formed, the beads are similar in size but not exactly the same. Some of the turquoise have dark matrix running through the beads and some don’t. To securely fasten the necklace, it’s finished with a textured solid copper toggle clasp. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the MON COEUR heart pendant necklace was created for the woman who loves bold artisan jewelry with a story! “Mon coeur” is French for “my heart.”

The vintage pendant was made from solid brass and features a cut out heart design with flowers.

Simple and elegant, these earrings are made from Indian pink round faceted Swarovski crystals and fine sterling silver chain. At the top of the radiant crystals are small, shiny sterling silver beads.

The earrings dangle a glorious 2 5/8” long from petite sterling silver French hook style wires. The Swarovski crystals measure 8 mm and the sterling silver beads 4 mm.

These gold music note earrings are unique. The dangling earrings are made with antiqued gold-plated pewter music sixteenth notes, wooden cube printed beads and antiqued gold-plated daisy flower beads.

The shiny and bright gold-plated music notes are flat on the opposite side. Some areas show signs of imperfection, but do not take away from their vintage-style beauty.

The wooden cube beads are beautifully painted with clockwork pansies in the colors red-orange, brown, and tan. Each wood bead is accented with gold-plated spacer beads. The ball post earrings are gold-plated.
