Love My Dog Earrings, Hearts Paw Prints Silver Handmade Jewelry Gift

The meaningful "Love My Dog" handmade earrings feature two-sided heart shaped charms and two colors and types of Czech glass beads - jewelry for the dog lover.

Any woman who loves dogs will adore these meaningful LOVE MY DOG earrings - they are a perfect jewelry gift for a dog lover and give back to the local community when purchased. The focal of the handmade dog rescue earrings are two-sided silver over pewter heart shaped charms:  the front says “Love My Dog” and the back has a single paw print.  The designs on both sides of the hearts were given a dark patina and then polished to bring out the beautiful details. The heart charms have a mirror-like finish, which, unfortunately, made them very hard to photograph without reflections of darker objects in the vicinity.  Please be assured they are a brilliant, shiny silver color.  To add more than a touch of vibrant color to the dog earrings, two types of high quality Czech glass beads were used. The meaningful PINK PAW PRINTS handmade earrings are a perfect jewelry gift idea for the woman who adores cats and dogs. The earrings feature sweet Czech glass paw print shaped beads, sparkling Swarovski crystals and copper. The glass beads, made in the Czech Republic, started out as dusty pink molten glass. While still in a semi-melted state, a dog / cat paw print design was pressed into the glass on both sides creating a wonderful recessed texture. To bring out the details and to add a vintage look to the pad and the four toes, each footprint was coated with a bronze Picasso finish. The finish was then polished off the face of the beads, leaving the bronze mainly in the recessed areas and on the sides - each bead a bit different from the others. Since the dusty pink paw print beads are two sided, the earrings look beautiful from any angle.  To add a huge dose of sparkle to the earrings design, a single 6 mm faceted Swarovski crystal bicone was stacked on top of the paw print beads, separated by a copper daisy spacer. The color of the Swarovskis is called “rose peach,” a perfect color to highlight the dusty pink of the paw prints. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the PINK PAW PRINTS earrings were created for the dog and cat lover and are a meaningful jewelry gift.

The Czech beads were created from dusty rose glass with a recessed paw print design on both sides.

Frida Kahlo Earrings, Monkey Cat Boho Crystals Handmade Jewelry

The "Frida" handmade earrings feature artisan created Frida Kahlo dangles from copper and Swarovski crystals - unique jewelry for her.

Frida Kahlo was a vibrant Mexican artist and is beloved the world over. If you are a fan of her life and work, you will absolutely love the appropriately named FRIDA dangle earrings! The boho earrings feature faux vintage copper Frida dangles and two sizes of sparkling, richly-colored Swarovski crystals. The unique, artisan made Kahlo charms look as if they were cut from old cookie or tea tins. But they only mimic rustic vintage tins since they were individually artisan hand cut, filed and sanded from modern copper. A permanent metal transfer was applied and then sealed. The picture of Frida is an iconic self portrait painted in 1940 - the earrings are a mirror image of the original. A black cat sits on her left shoulder, her pet monkey sits on her right, two white butterflies are in her hair and she is wearing a symbolic thorn necklace. Since the dangles were individually handmade, there are slight differences which add wonderful rustic vibes. The back of the dangles is smooth, shiny copper which will gradually gain a patina over time. Since the charms are made from copper, the earrings are very lightweight to wear.  Because the Frida Kahlo charms are gorgeous in their own right, simple complements were all that was needed to complete the earrings. Sparkling Swarovski crystals in two sizes were chosen in a color called “graphite,” a bluish gray-black tone full of deep, shadowy sparkle. Sterling silver earwires with copper bead accents finish the design beautifully. Thank you to all who have helped me stay up to date with the countdown

I truly appreciate everyone giving me a hand in getting the posts done that announce the countdowns and the midweek.

For the last 6 weeks, my boss and I have been preparing for Black Friday inserts that go in our papers. She sells them, and I coordinate the insertions and the zip codes they all go to. She sold over 1,886,000  inserts. I have been working to keep all of them straight and in the right 15 papers and zones. We have at least 5 zones for each paper, and one has 12 zones. We went down to the warehouse on Wednesday and watched them all go into the sorting machines and then stuffed into their insert jacket. I don't know how they do it, but it works almost flawlessly. It's freaking amazing!

It's been all I could do to keep it all straight and has left me exhausted when I come home at night, so my online time and email responses have been limited. Now that it is over, I will have more time. :)

Red Poppies Christmas Earrings, Crystals Faux Vintage Handmade Jewelry

The "Red Poppies" handmade earrings feature artisan made poppy charms from copper and red Swarovski crystals - unique jewelry for women.

Filled with bright red floral charm, the RED POPPIES earrings are perfect to wear not only during the Christmas holidays, but also can be worn all year long. The one of a kind earrings feature artisan created rich red poppy charms with a vintage botanical look and sparkling red Swarovski crystals in two sizes and shapes. The eye catching poppy charms look as if they were upcycled from old cookie or tea tins. But they only mimic rustic vintage tins since they were individually hand cut, filed and sanded from modern copper. A permanent metal transfer was applied for the faux tin look and then the charms were sealed for years of wearing pleasure. The stars of the earrings are the individual red poppies with contrasting black centers that are found on each charm. A stem rises up from the left corner along with a poppy bud. On the right side, a Victorian architectural detail is found. Since the dangles were individually handmade, there are slight differences which add wonderful rustic vibes. Because the charms are made from copper, the earrings are very lightweight to wear.  All Christmas jewelry (or year round jewelry for that matter!) needs more than a bit of incredible sparkle. To add that to the poppy earrings, two sizes and shapes of Swarovski crystals were stacked above the charms, separated by rustic copper daisy spacers. Sacred Heart Woman Pendant Necklace, Coral Religious Handmade Jewelry

The "Holy Fire" handmade necklace features an artisan created Sacred Heart and woman ceramic pendant, coral and sterling silver - unique jewelry for a Catholic.

If you are looking for a one of a kind jewelry gift for a woman of Catholic faith, the HOLY FIRE necklace is perfect! The unique necklace features an artisan handmade ceramic pendant with a Sacred Heart and woman design, two types of red coral and sterling silver. The Sacred Heart symbol is one of great meaning for a Roman Catholic, representing Jesus Christ’s heart and his love for all humanity. When there is a flame above the heart, it represents the divine light of love. The meaningful pendant was artisan handmade from ceramic clay, hand painted and glazed. It features a red Sacred Heart with a yellow flame at the bottom right of the pendant. The profile of a woman with brown, curly hair is found on the left side and roses in the upper right. The beautiful pendant has a very serene, peaceful feel to it. I added small daisy spacers (some of my favorite spacer/beadcaps) to set the beads apart. There are iridescent black saucer beads set between the glass beads.

Since I love lampwork beads, I do my best to find some of the most unique and magnificent beads that I can find. I only buy from flame artists and never buy cheap imported glass beads.
These are glass beaded jewelry; take care to handle them gently with love.

Flower Necklace, Cobalt Blue Pink Rose Quartz Gemstones Jewelry Gift

The FLOWER EXPLOSION necklace is definitely a refreshing, handmade beauty. A cobalt blue lampwork glass focal bead with pink flowers is the center of attention of the stunning jewelry design. The one of a kind necklace also features pink rose quartz melon beads, ridged pewter beads, leafy pewter bead caps and sterling silver. The eye catching lampwork glass focal was created right in front of me by a very talented glass artist from Fort Worth, Texas. Translucent cobalt blue glass makes up the body of the round art glass bead. Swirling pink flowers with wispy green and pale blue leaves look as if they are exploding out of the deep blue glass. Since the cobalt glass is translucent, it glows beautifully in bright light. Complementing the flowing flower and leaf design, a leafy pewter bead cap adds even more charm to each end of the lampwork focal bead. To highlight the pink flowers of the lampwork glass focal, elegant pink rose quartz in a novel melon cut make up the main body of the necklace. The ridges of the melon cut gemstones add lovely texture to the jewelry design and seem to catch and radiate light. Each rose quartz bead is separated by tiny sterling silver beads, with each group of three gemstones separated by pewter beads with etched ridges. To finish the necklace, a fancy sterling silver s-clasp set was used.
