The focal of the handmade dog rescue earrings are two-sided silver over pewter heart shaped charms:  the front says “Love My Dog” and the back has a single paw print.  The designs on both sides of the hearts were given a dark patina and then polished to bring out the beautiful details. The heart charms have a mirror-like finish, which, unfortunately, made them very hard to photograph without reflections of darker objects in the vicinity.  Please be assured they are a brilliant, shiny silver color.  To add more than a touch of vibrant color to the dog earrings, two types of high quality Czech glass beads were used. Just above the dog heart charms are two dark turquoise green discs w/ a dark Picasso finish to add an aged, rustic look to them. Above each set of discs are a single bright blazing coral orange melon bead, also with a Picasso finish, this time a copper color, that settled into the recesses to bring out the details.
