Owl Earrings, Blue Copper Czech Glass Handmade Jewelry Gift for Women

The Petites Chouettes handmade earrings feature blue Czech silk glass owl coin beads and faceted Czech rondelles.

With their glowing, rustic look, the PETITES CHOUETTES handmade earrings are a perfect gift for the woman who loves unique owl jewelry. The whimsical, one of a kind beauties feature two sided Czech coin beads created with a small owl design impressed into each side of soft sky blue silk glass beads. To bring out the amazing detailing, a metallic bronze Picasso finish was applied and then polished off, leaving the metallic glow in the recessed areas of the owl design and various “cracks.” Because the owl beads are two sided, the earrings look charming from any angle.

The Czech glass coin beads were created from sky blue silk glass with a pressed owl design and a metallic bronze Picasso finish to bring out the details.

Stacked above the owl beads are crisp faceted Czech rondelles with both translucent and opaque dark sapphire blue glass that absolutely glows when backlit. A band of white with a hint of pale lilac is found at the bottom of each bead. The top and bottom of each rondelle is coated with a Picasso finish of amber and pale green. A copper daisy spacer separates the owl beads from the radiant rondelles. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the PETITES CHOUETTES owl earrings were created for the woman who loves to wear unique artisan jewelry that can go from casual to boho dressy. “Petites Chouettes” is French for “small owls.”

Bubble Gum Pink Large Hole Bead, Handmade Lampwork Bead, Bracelet Slider Bead With Raised Black Dots

This is one of my delightfully fun pink handmade lampwork beads with a 5mm large hole size and fits on my personal Pandora bracelet. It was made using a glass color called bubble gum pink! What a great name for some glass.  I added some black dots around the bead to add texture and contrast to this gorgeous handmade glass bead.

The Maroodi handmade earrings feature Czech glass elephant beads with a Picasso finish and bronze wash along with colorful Czech beads 

A perfect gift for the woman who adores elephants and and loves to wear elephant jewelry, the whimsical maroon and bronze MAROODI handmade earrings will make you smile each and every time you wear the fun cuties. The unique, one of a kind earrings feature two sided Czech glass elephants with raised trunks created from rich colored maroon glass. To add a rustic, vintage charm and to bring out the details of the eyes, mouth, ears, legs and trunk, the glass beads were given an earthy lichen gray Picasso finish and then washed with metallic bronze. Due to their handmade nature, each elephant (and each side of each bead) is a bit different, as you can see in the photos. Because the elephant beads are two sided, the earrings look fabulous from every angle!

To add unexpected bursts of color, stacked onto the back of the elephant beads are ridged, bright orange Czech glass melon beads with a gold Picasso wash and rustic aqua Czech glass nuggets. Copper daisy spacers separate the two colorful beads and an aged copper disc separates the ebads from the elephants. Sterling silver earwires with copper bead accents finish the earrings beautifully. Carefully designed and artisan handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the MAROODI earrings were created for the woman who cherishes the majesty of elephants - and worries that their population is rapidly dwindling rapidly. “Maroodi” is Somali for “elephant.”

Cat Kitty Earrings, Swarovski Crystals Handmade Jewelry Gift Women

The Here Kitty handmade earrings feature cut out cat charms and two shades of brown Swarovski crystals 

The HERE KITTY handmade dangle earrings are a perfect gift for the woman who adores her cat(s). The unique earrings feature shiny rhodium over pewter sitting cat charms with a solid face and a cut out center of the body. The lines of the silver kitty charms are very flowing, ending with a curved tail in the cut out. The charms are smooth and sleek on both sides so the earrings look fabulous from any angle.

The sleek, two sided cat charms are rhodium over pewter for 

a super shiny finish.

To keep the earrings design simple, letting the cat charms take most of the credit, two faceted 4 mm Swarovski crystals in shades of brown were stacked above the kitties. The darker color is called “smoked topaz” and the lighter brown is called “light Colorado topaz.” The crystals might be small but they add a tremendous amount of eye catching sparkle! A single 2 mm sterling silver bead separates the two crystals. Believe Angel Wing Necklace with Turritella Fossil Agate and Pearls, Handmade Jewelry

Artisan handmade "Believe" angel wing pendant necklace 

If you believe that angels are spiritual messengers sent between heaven and earth, then the one of a kind BELIEVE pendant necklace is definitely a piece of unique jewelry you must wear! The meaningful handmade necklace features an artisan designed and individually hand cast bronze pendant with an exquisitely detailed angel wing and the word “Believe” along the bottom. To add even more beauty and texture to the pendant, the bail was fashioned from a folded over wing. The backside of the pendant is textured and has a raised area at the bottom right corner with the business name of the artist.

To perfectly highlight the eye catching angel wing pendant, turritella fossil agate nuggets and small heishe pearls were used, along with copper bicone spacer beads. Turritella agate, which was formed approximately 50 million years ago, is an amazing gemstone since it contains actual freshwater Elimia tenera snail fossils! Look closely and you’ll see a whole multitude of white to tan colored fossils that contrast beautifully against the brownish agate base. The turritella nuggets are faceted and are slightly graduated in size, the larger found at the front of the necklace and the smaller nuggets at the back.

Separating the first six turritella nuggets are small white pearl heishe in groups of three. The heishe pearls have an amazing lustre and positively glow. Faceted copper bicone spacer beads flank both sides of the grouping of pearls and separate individual turritella at the back of the necklace. A textured bronze hook clasp set finishes the unique necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the BELIEVE handmade angel wing necklace was created for the woman with a taste for uniquely spiritual jewelry.

Dog Rescue Earrings, Love My Dog Blue Lampwork Handmade Jewelry Gift

"Love My Dog" dog rescue earrings

If you are looking for a meaningful pair of dog inspired earrings as gift for a loved one who adores her dog (or dogs), look no further than these LOVE MY DOG artisan handmade earrings. The focal of the dog rescue earrings are silver over pewter heart shaped charms. As an added bonus, the charms are two-sided: the front says “Love My Dog” and the back has a single paw print. Because the charms are to sided, the unique earrings look fabulous from any angle. The designs on both sides were given a dark patina and then polished to bring out the beautiful details. The heart charms have a mirror-like finish, which, unfortunately, made them very hard to photograph without reflections from the sky, my camera, my head, my red shirt, etc. Please be assured they are a brilliant, shiny silver color.

The silver over pewter heart charms are two sided

Wire wrapped with sterling wire above the dog heart charms, and perfectly complementing them, are speckled blue lampwork glass beads that were artisan handmade and clear Czech glass rondelles with an aurora borealis finish. The lush blue lampwork beads beads started out as clear glass. When they were still in their molten stage, a rich midnight blue glass frit was applied to form the subtle spots. These lampwork beads positively glow when backlit!

Stacked above the lampwork beads are radiant Czech glass rondelles that are clear with a rainbow like aurora borealis finish. As the light hits the beads, shifting colors magically appear: blue, pink, green, aqua, purple and others. A single sterling silver daisy spacer separates the lampwork beads from the Czech beads. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the LOVE MY DOG will be a much treasured jewelry for any woman who loves her dog(s).

Christmas Tree Earrings, Handmade Holiday Jewelry Enamel Swarovski

Artisan Hand Enameled Christmas Tree Charm Earrings with Swarovski Crystals and Sterling Silver

The OH TANNENBAUM handmade Christmas tree earrings are absolutely perfect for fun holiday wear. The one of a kind earrings feature individually artisan created enamel Christmas tree charms. Two shades of green enamel glass powders were fused onto a copper blank with a high heat torch. Then red and blue ornaments were added along with a yellow star, again using enamel glass powders and the torch. The back of each tree charm is solid black. Since each tree was individually handmade, you can see in the photos that they are very similar but not exactly the same.

To add mega sparkle to the Christmas tree earrings and mimicking a star, a pale yellow “jonquil” Swarovski crystal faceted bicone was wire wrapped with sterling wire above the enamel star. Capping the crystals are 2 mm sterling silver beads. To perfectly finish the unique holiday earrings, sterling silver French hook earwires were used. Transparent Rose Quartz Pink Handmade Lampwork Focal Bead

 

Rose quartz is such a bright yet soft and feminine shade of pink.  It's one of my favorites.  This large handmade glass bead is made using transparent rose quartz glass. It is a beautiful true "pinky" pink. There are thousands of air bubbles trapped within this large lentil bead. The photo below depicts the transparency and all of the air bubbles trapped within this shiny glass bead.

Red Flint Handmade Lampwork Glass Beads with Fine Silver

These beautiful red flint handmade jewelry beads are great for making earrings, bracelets and necklaces, zipper and fan pulls, most any project you can think of. While you may want to add them to your beading supply stash for a later project, you will probably want to use them right away.  Yes, they are that beautiful!

Both styles are available both shiny or etched and with or without fine silver wrapping.  However, I don't have picutures of the the etched version.  You can see listings of other red beads by visiting my "red glass beads" section in my Covergirlbeads Artfire Store.  This will give you an idea of how some red etched beads look. 

Red beads are especially thought of around holidays such as Valentines and the Christmas season but they can be worn throughout the year with most any wardrobe you have. The .999 fine silver wrapping around them adds another layer of elegance to these gorgeous beads!
