Baby Jesus Nativity Earrings, Mary Joseph Religious Christmas Jewelry

The "O Holy Night" earrings feature the Baby Jesus in the manger with Mary and Joseph and sparkling Swarovski crystals - religious Christmas jewelry for women.

The one of a kind O HOLY NIGHT handmade Nativity earrings are a perfect gift for the woman who wants more to her Christmas jewelry than the usual Santas, Christmas trees and snowmen. The meaningful earrings feature dangles with a Baby Jesus in a manger design and star bright sparkling Swarovski crystals. The unique square-shaped charms look as if they were cut from an old, weathered cookie or tea tin. But they only mimic rustic vintage tins since they were individually artisan hand cut, filed and sanded from modern copper. A permanent metal transfer was applied and then the charms were sealed for long wear. The design is a classic Nativity scene that every Christian recognizes: Baby Jesus in a manger with Mary and Joseph. Three small children and another woman (an angel, perhaps) look on, along with an attentive cow. Such a peaceful feeling! The wooden wall of the manger is in the background. The back of the beautiful charms are copper and the earrings are very lightweight to wear. Since the rustic charms were individually artisan made, they are very similar but not exactly the same.  To represent the star of Bethlehem that the three Wise Men followed to present the Messiah with gold, frankincense and myrrh, sparkling Swarovski crystals in two sizes were stacked above the charms. The crystals are clear but have an aurora borealis finish (named after the Northern Lights), an iridescent coating that provides an amazing rainbow color shift at each movement of the earrings.  The photos do not do justice at all to the exquisite colors produced by the crystals.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the unique O HOLY NIGHT earrings are perfect for the woman who loves to wear meaningful, religious Christmas jewelry.

The vintage look dangles were artisan created from copper with a permanent metal transfer of the Baby Jesus in the manger at Bethlehem.

Yellow Flowers Black Enamel Earrings, Carved Jet Boho Handmade Jewelry

The "Fiori Gialli" handmade earrings feature artisan yellow flowers on black enamel teardrop dangles and carved jet beads - unique jewelry gift for women.

Big and bold but lightweight to wear, the FIORI GIALLI boho earrings are perfect for dress up and dress down. The flirty earrings feature artisan created enamel yellow on black flower drops, hand carved jet gemstone beads and sterling silver. Individually handmade, the elongated teardrop shape charms, with a cut out circle on each, started out as copper blanks. A layer of black enamel glass powder was torch fired onto the copper. The flowers and stems were then created with yellow and green glass powders, also torched. Just look at the incredible detail of the mirror-image flowers that certainly stand out against the rich, glossy black - you can even see the individual petals! The back of the flower charms are finished with black enamel. Since the flower dangles started out as copper blanks, the earrings are lightweight to wear.  The yellow flower drops are wire wrapped with sterling silver wire to beautifully carved jet gemstone beads. Unlike many gemstones, jet is not a mineral, but is a mineraloid (organic mineral). It formed under extremely high pressure from naturally occurring wood as long ago as 182 million years. Jet is easily carved and has been used for ornamentation by humans since at least 10,000 BC. The glossy jet beads used to complement the enameled flower dangles were individually hand carved with an Asian motif. Please see photo #8 for a close up photo of the jet beads. Sterling spacers cap the top and bottom of each jet bead, adding a wonderful silver glow to the design. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the FIORI GIALLI one of a kind earrings were created for the woman who loves bold boho flower jewelry. “Fiori gialli” is Italian for “yellow flowers.”

Our Lady of Fatima Rosary Chaplet Bracelet
- Catholic Niner, Religious Jewelry Prayer Beads -

This lovely Our Lady of Fatima chaplet bracelet is handmade from blue sponge quartz gemstones, white pearls, Austrian crystals, and an Italian-made holy medal. A "niner" chaplet, it is designed around three trios of prayer beads, which here are represented by the blue quartz. These are delicately colored faceted gemstone rounds with light blue shading. Accompanying them are the white pearls, which are from Swarovski (made in Austria), and sparkly crystal bicones, also from Swarovski. The holy medal shows the Blessed virgin Mary revealing herself to the three Portuguese peasant children—Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta—at Fatima. This is a nicely detailed base-metal piece, with a simple cross and rose on the reverse side.

The bracelet is designed with three trios of quartz, each bead of which is nestled between beautiful sterling silver petalled bead caps (made in the USA). Within the trios, the beads are separated by single pearls; and between each trio is a larger crystal bicone flanked by a split pair of smaller bicones. On each end of the bracelet strand, the chaplet is finished off with a small bicone and pearl, a sterling silver twist crimp between TierraCast daisy spacers, and a sterling silver wireguard. The crimps secure the chaplet's high-quality 49-strand beading wire, and the wireguards help to prevent abrasion of the wire. The daisy spacers, beading wire, and sterling silver finishing components were all made in the USA.

The chaplet is approximately 7 1/4 inches in its basic length and its extender chain adds an extra inch. At the end of the chain, I added a decorative dangle to symbolize the Holy Trinity. It holds a Swarovski blue quartz bead, with a smaller crystal at the top and the bottom. The pearl is bordered with a split pair of daisy spacers.

This inspirational Our Lady of Fatima adjustable chaplet bracelet with blue sponge quartz, white pearls, and Austrian crystals was handmade by me with care, thought, and best wishes for its destined wearer and user. It comes wrapped in a nice organza bag, all set for gifting to someone who will appreciate its beautiful meaning—perhaps yourself! Note About the Holy Medal and Complimentary Holy Card

I purchased the Our Lady of Fatima holy medal at La Salette Shrine in Massachusetts, a beautiful meditative place. While there, I also purchased the lovely laminated holy card shown in one of my photographs. The card comes as a complimentary extra with the chaplet bracelet.

The "Gold Rush Spirals" handmade necklace features an artisan polymer clay pendant, fancy jasper gemstones and glowing pearls - unique jewelry gift for women.

When you pair a beautifully rustic pendant with sleek, earthy gemstones, you can’t help but to create visual goodness! The GOLD RUSH SPIRALS handmade necklace proves that. The one of a kind necklace features an artisan created pendant, fancy jasper ovals and freshwater pearls. As you can see in the photos, the rustic pendant is very unique, looking like an old artefact from times past. Created from off white polymer clay, the pendant features an eye catching textured design of sacred spirals, glittering gold flakes and a small, round cut out. Reminiscent of flakes of gold floating down a river filled with spiraling eddies and whirlpools, the pendant was carefully hand painted in pale mossy greens, dark mauve and dark browns above; the lower half was left the natural color, the spirals enhanced with brown. Eighteen glossy fancy jasper ovals were used, each oval separated by shiny freshwater pearls that are a pale mauve color, matching the mauves of the pendant. The luster of the pearls is exquisite - you can see my reflection in many of the pearls in the photos. Small copper beads separate the pearls from the jasper. As someone who loves to wear jewelry that is a one of a kind piece, you will love that I created this necklace just for your wardrobe. The lampwork bead focal piece is called a tootsie roll bead for obvious reasons, but the glass artist swirled the bead with rootbeer colored glass with foam swirls, which makes this one of a kind bead a perfect complement to any color, no matter what your wardrobe choice is for the day. The necklace is subtle and the perfect length to work with any high top blouse or scoop neck t-shirt.

About this necklace for women

The lampwork bead has tiny bubbles of glass added to the exterior of the barrel, and the glass artist added two rootbeer glass spacer beads that I topped with tiny daisy spacer beads. Those Tibetan style daisies have been added to the ends of the barrel as well.
It took me some time to decide on the right beads to use to complement the pretty rootbeer beads. I wanted to draw the colors of the beads out while bringing the jewelry design together. I added red striped agates to match the little bubbles. The agates have enough light colors that they match the foam in the lampwork glass beads. I used silver-plated spacers between the agates.

How this women's necklace is finished

I decided to finish the necklace with tiny gold metallic seed beads with iridescent colors that flash in the sun. The seed beads are Jablonex brand. Your new necklace is finished at a 21-inch length, which is a nice length for lower necklines. I completed the necklace with a Hand Made with Love heart charm and a silver-plated toggle clasp.

Since I love lampwork beads, I do my best to find some of the most unique and magnificent beads that I can find. I only buy from flame artists and never buy cheap imported glass beads.
This is a glass beaded necklace for women; take care to handle it gently with love.

The shape of the amethyst is a thick coin circle shape and they are faceted, lending subtle sparkle to the earring design. Since the amethyst is translucent, they positively glow when the earrings are worn. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the MEDITATION earrings will be a welcome gift for the woman who loves unique spiritually uplifting Buddha yoga jewelry.

Blue Flower Handmade Beaded Necklace for Women

I love this necklace. I created these little 12mm blue and white flower handmade polymer clay beads for a necklace, but did not know how I would finish it off. I just knew that the flowers were pretty and dainty. So, when I found these powder blue Czech druk beads, I noticed that they were a perfect match to my little blue flowers.
Because I love contrasts and for some reason have been so passionate about teal and green, I used 4mm fern green Swarovski crystals to offset the little flowers and add a big shout of color.
In order to compliment the green beads, I threw in more than 100 little Jablonex green seed beads to finish off the necklace.

How this fashion necklace is finished

The necklace is ended with a couple silver plated spacers and a toggle clasp. I added a Made With Love heart charm to the clasp.
This necklace is perfect for yourself, but it would make a lovely gift for a woman in your life. This could be mom, grandmother, sister or aunt. It could even be for your BFF. It is very feminine and very colorful.
It is lightweight and the polymer clay beads are all handmade with my own clay flowers. You will not see another set of beads like these since I only made one set and this is it.

I created these bright teal blue beads with lots of lemon lime leaves and lemon yellow flowers. I added dark navy blue swirls to give them lots of movement and visual appeal. The flowers are bright and contrast well with the teal.
I strung these brilliant beads with clear ocean blue beads and added a matte teal Czech druk bead to give them a solid appearance. Then I added lots of 8mm faceted Czech glass beads that are clear and catch a lot of light. They are a deep aqua color for a lot of sparkle and color.

The necklace was finished with brilliant kelly green clear Jablonex seed beads. They are a wonderful compliment to the other teals and blues. This is a bright and fun necklace.

Dragon’s Blood Jasper Gemstone and Lampwork Beaded Necklace

Multi-Strand Beaded Necklace with Lampwork Dragon Scale Bead and Dragon's Blood Jasper

Draco
The constellation of the dragon is called Draco, which is Latin for dragon. It never sets for those who observe it from the northern hemisphere.

The dragon eye in this beautiful artisan lampwork bead is the focus of Draco, and is the second in my series of ten Dragon Eye Series of necklaces. This bead was formed from fire in Kentucky, and the artist has coaxed gorgeous colors from her threads of glass. Draco's pale amber eye is filled with swirls of purple and rust oranges deep inside the eye. The colors are formed around the tiny pupil that stares without blinking.

Draco's eye is enclosed in the green and yellow reptilian scales that surround it, and there are tiny points of amber that sweep along the eye to the edge of the front. The backside of the 30mm bead is rich with scales in green, gold and amber glass. Each individual scale is rich with color and visual texture. The bead is silky smooth with the exception of the eye and the tiny points of glass that accent the eye.

A Stunning Statement Necklace

I purchased the dragon's blood jasper specifically for this bead. The jasper gemstone is polished and natural. I used ovals, 4mm and 6mm round stones for this three strand necklace. The strands are dashed with 4mm Swarovski crystals in blood red and smoky black diamond bicones.

I finished the ends of the strands with Czech seed beads in russet cranberry to match the red Swarovski and the blood red in the jasper. The ends of the necklace are finished with silver toned crimp covers and wire guards that are hung on a pewter toggle clasp. The strands are graduated with the longest strand being 22-inches. This is also the strand that is home to Draco's eye.

The entire necklace is a stunning example of talented glass work and gorgeous natural stones.
It is a conversation starter, and it is an elegant piece to wear to parties or other events.

This necklace has been created using a beautiful lampwork (glass beads created with a torch) bead from a talented glass artist. I used dragon's blood jasper gemstones to give this necklace even more power than the eye of the dragon. Draco is named for the constellation that is seen in the northern hemisphere and created from the torch of one of my favorite glass bead artists. This necklace is multi-strand and the dragon's blood jasper is in many sizes and shapes. I added Swarovski crystals for even more color and sparkle.

The longest strand is 22-inch where the lampwork bead lies.

Since I love lampwork beads, I do my best to find some of the most unique and magnificent beads that I can find. I only buy from flame artists and never buy cheap imported glass beads.
