Yellow Flowers Black Enamel Earrings, Carved Jet Boho Handmade Jewelry

The "Fiori Gialli" handmade earrings feature artisan yellow flowers on black enamel teardrop dangles and carved jet beads - unique jewelry gift for women.

Big and bold but lightweight to wear, the FIORI GIALLI boho earrings are perfect for dress up and dress down. The flirty earrings feature artisan created enamel yellow on black flower drops, hand carved jet gemstone beads and sterling silver. Individually handmade, the elongated teardrop shape charms, with a cut out circle on each, started out as copper blanks. A layer of black enamel glass powder was torch fired onto the copper. The flowers and stems were then created with yellow and green glass powders, also torched. Just look at the incredible detail of the mirror-image flowers that certainly stand out against the rich, glossy black - you can even see the individual petals! The back of the flower charms are finished with black enamel. Since the flower dangles started out as copper blanks, the earrings are lightweight to wear.  The yellow flower drops are wire wrapped with sterling silver wire to beautifully carved jet gemstone beads. Unlike many gemstones, jet is not a mineral, but is a mineraloid (organic mineral). It formed under extremely high pressure from naturally occurring wood as long ago as 182 million years. Jet is easily carved and has been used for ornamentation by humans since at least 10,000 BC. The glossy jet beads used to complement the enameled flower dangles were individually hand carved with an Asian motif. Please see photo #8 for a close up photo of the jet beads. Sterling spacers cap the top and bottom of each jet bead, adding a wonderful silver glow to the design. Mother of Pearl Rose Necklace, Purple Pearls Handmade Flower Jewelry

The "Garden of the Ocean" handmade necklace features a glowing hand carved mother of pearl rose pendant, purple pearls, pewter lantern beads and sterling silver. 

With a radiant mother of pearl shell flower pendant, the GARDEN OF THE OCEAN handmade necklace makes an absolutely delightful statement whenever worn. The one of a kind necklace features a glowing white mother of pearl carved pendant, rich purple baroque pearls and lead free pewter lantern beads. A beautiful hand carved rose with flowing petals and a stem with two leaves can be found in the middle of the mother of pearl pendant. A line was carved all along the outer edge. Because of the carving, the pendant has beautiful texture which is highlighted when the light hits it just right. Unfortunately, the photos don’t show just how luminous the natural radiance of the shell is as the light plays across it. It’s almost as if the pendant has its own internal light source! The back is silky smooth and slightly concave. For security, a heavy duty sterling silver jump ring attaches the pendant to the main body of the necklace.

To highlight the pendant perfectly, rich purple freshwater pearls make up the main body of the necklace.  Since the large beauties are more oval shape, with many having natural ridges, they are called baroque pearls.  Between each set of three pearls at the front of the necklace are glowing pewter lantern beads separated by sterling silver daisy spacers and small sterling beads.  Each pearl is separated from the other with sterling silver beads for a sinuous feel.
