The exquisitely beautiful INCAN ROSE handmade earrings are a perfect jewelry gift for the woman who has a love for unique, natural pink gemstones! Pink rhodochrosite are the gorgeous focal of the earrings with glowing gray peacock pearls used as highlights. Found in the Andes in Peru (and a few other places in the world), rhodochrosite is a fairly rare gemstone that was sacred to the Incas. They believed that rhodochrosite is the blood of former rulers that was turned to stone. Because of that, the gemstones is sometimes called "Rosa del Inca" or "Incan Rose." As you can see in the photos, the highly polished rhodochrosite teardrops are mainly a lovely medium pink. Eye-catching natural gray and white banding run through the teardrops, a bit different on each side, causing a landscape pattern effect. The top and bottom of each teardrop is capped with small sterling silver daisy spacers.  To perfectly complement the colors of the rhodochrosite, two gray button pearls (flat on one side) were stacked above the teardrops. The pearls have a glorious, color-shifting peacock effect depending on the angle of the light. Inca Cross Necklace, Leopardite Jasper Pearls Chakana Handmade Jewelry

The "Chakana" pedant necklace features a leopardite jasper Inca cross, pearls and copper - meaningful gift for women.

The CHAKANA cross pendant necklace is a meaningful jewelry gift for the woman who adores unique crosses. The handmade necklace features a spotted leopardite gemstone Inca cross, glowing brown freshwater pearls and copper. The Inca cross (also called a chakana) is a stepped cross made up of equal arms indicating the cardinal points of the compass and a superimposed square creating twelve corners. Used by Andean cultures from as far back as 600 BC, the chakana was worn as a talisman, as jewelry, woven in textile designs and used as architectural designs. The Spaniards quickly co-opted the Inca cross and it used to help convert the indigenous people to Christianity. The Inca cross (which I bought in Cuzco, Peru, many years ago) is carved from leopardite jasper, a gemstone with natural leopard-like spots. The base stone is usually a light beige color with darker brown or grayish spots. As you can see in the photos, the chakana is two-sided with a unique spotted design on both sides.  To perfectly compliment the colors of the Inca cross, glowing copper brown freshwater pearls were used. The colors shade from a rich, dark copper brown to a lighter golden copper brown with a high sheen. Since the pearls are freshwater, they are not perfectly round as the photos show. Most are somewhat oblong while some have ridges and bumps, normal for freshwater pearls and adds great texture to the overall design.  A copper s-clasp set with raised granulation on both sides securely finishes the necklace. White Aqua Red Bracelet, Pearls Czech Glass Copper Handmade Jewelry

The "Mermaid's Dream" handmade bracelet features white freshwater pearls, aqua Czech glass discs and coral red Czech glass rondelles - unique jewelry for women.

Filled with blocks of color that represent the oceans, the MERMAID’S DREAM handmade bracelet is a perfect gift for the woman who loves unique jewelry . . . and who might have more than a bit of mermaid in her soul. Filled with vibrant color, the bracelet was created with sumptuous white pearls, rich aqua discs and bright coral red rondelles. As you can see in the photos, the white freshwater pearls have a luscious, luminous glow. The pearls are more oval in shape, each one a bit different from the other, as is normal with freshwater pearls. The glow of the pearls is eye catching, almost as they have their own light source. Copper beads separate each pearl, adding their own beautiful glow.  On the opposite side of the bracelet, are found translucent aqua Czech glass disc spacers that positively glow in the light, reminiscent of the waters of the Caribbean. To add an aged look, the discs were speckled with a metallic gold Picasso finish that adds great eye appeal. The discs were placed in groups of five with copper beads separating each group. Between the pearls and the discs are found three bright red coral Czech glass rondelles. The middle of the red rondelles are faceted to add subtle sparkle. The rondelles also have a metallic gold Picasso finish, this time on each end of the beads. The bracelet is securely finished with a copper toggle clasp set. Shakyamuni Buddha Necklace, Rustic Copper Pearls Handmade Yoga Jewelry

The one of a kind "Meditation" handmade necklace features an artisan rustic looking Shakyamuni Buddha pendant, coppery orange pearls and copper beads - unique yoga jewelry for women.

Filled with a tranquil but powerful feeling, the meaningful MEDITATION necklace is perfect jewelry to wear when you are in a contemplative mood . . . or just want to make a fabulous fashion statement. The one of a kind yoga inspired necklace features an artisan created meditating Shakyamuni Buddha pendant with gorgeous coppery orange pearls and copper. The stunning, rustic pendant, which looks like an ancient artefact, was created from off-white polymer clay that was molded into a serene Shakyamuni Buddha in a meditative pose within a triangle. The fingers of his right hand are touching the earth. This is a bhumisparsha mudra (a hand gesture during meditation) which symbolizes the Buddha's enlightenment under the bodhi tree, when he asked the earth goddess, Sthavara, to bear witness to his enlightenment. The left hand is held flat in the lap, palm up. The Shakyamuni Buddha is raised against the background, providing wonderful texture to the design. The pendant was hand painted with polymer clay inks for a rich, aged look.  When the pendant was “cooked” the inks settled into the recessed areas leaving most of the body of the Buddha paler, highlighting it perfectly. The pendant was given a coating of resin for protection and to keep the colors brilliant. As was mentioned above, the pendant has a worn rustic look with “cracks” and glazing adding great interest. To perfectly complement the Shakyamuni Buddha pendant, glowing coppery orange freshwater pearls were used. The pearls are on the larger side and are called “potato pearls” since they aren’t perfectly round. Most are oval shaped and have natural ridges that highlight the rustic look of the pendant. They absolutely glow, almost like they have their own light source. Since the number three has a spiritual symbolism in most religions, including Buddhism, three pearls separated by copper beads are found on each side of the pendant. Then the pearls are in groups of three, separated by copper disc spacers and a copper bead. The last group has four pearls (to add the proper length to the necklace). With a radiant mother of pearl shell flower pendant, the GARDEN OF THE OCEAN handmade necklace makes an absolutely delightful statement whenever worn. Starburst Jasper Pearls Necklace, Chunky Handmade Gemstone Jewelry

The one of a kind Mother Nature's Stars handmade necklace was created with starburst jasper, coppery freshwater pearls and sterling silver - unique jewelry for women.

The spectacular semi precious gemstones used in the one of a kind MOTHER NATURE’S STARS handmade necklace look like brilliant sprays of stars or fireworks. Although the gemstone is called starburst jasper (also chrysanthemum jasper and spider jasper), it is actually not a jasper at all but a type of rhyolite formed during volcanic activity. The star patterns are large crystals that were created during the slow cooling of lava. Each of the seven gemstones used in the artisan necklace is covered in starburst patterns, front and back, contrasting exquisitely against a darker background in various shades of brown. To add even more beauty, each piece of the somewhat chunky, flattened jasper is large faceted on the edges and has a high, glossy shine, perfect to catch and reflect the light. Sterling silver daisy spacers frame each end of the jasper.  To add more than a touch of radiance to the necklace and to complement the colors of the starburst jasper perfectly, freshwater potato pearls separate each piece of starburst jasper and finish the back of the necklace. The warm, coppery color of the pearls range from a more golden shades to some a more orange-y look. Spiral Gold Rush Pendant Necklace Fancy Jasper Pearls Handmade Jewelry

The "Gold Rush Spirals" handmade necklace features an artisan polymer clay pendant, fancy jasper gemstones and glowing pearls - unique jewelry gift for women.

When you pair a beautifully rustic pendant with sleek, earthy gemstones, you can’t help but to create visual goodness! The GOLD RUSH SPIRALS handmade necklace proves that. The one of a kind necklace features an artisan created pendant, fancy jasper ovals and freshwater pearls. As you can see in the photos, the rustic pendant is very unique, looking like an old artefact from times past. Created from off white polymer clay, the pendant features an eye catching textured design of sacred spirals, glittering gold flakes and a small, round cut out. Reminiscent of flakes of gold floating down a river filled with spiraling eddies and whirlpools, the pendant was carefully hand painted in pale mossy greens, dark mauve and dark browns above; the lower half was left the natural color, the spirals enhanced with brown. The gold flakes are painted in a reflective antique gold color which subtly catches the light and shines when the pendant is turned this way and that. The back is smooth with a pale wash of green and peach. To perfectly enhance the necklace, fancy jasper ovals and glowing freshwater pearls were used. Fancy jasper, a gorgeous semi-precious gemstone, is known for its rich, earthy color palette of mauves, lilacs, creams, browns and greens, sometimes all mixed together in the same stone. Eighteen glossy fancy jasper ovals were used, each oval separated by shiny freshwater pearls that are a pale mauve color, matching the mauves of the pendant. The luster of the pearls is exquisite - you can see my reflection in many of the pearls in the photos. Small copper beads separate the pearls from the jasper. Horse Lover Pendant Necklace, Mare Foal Handmade Equine Jewelry Gift

The exquisite "Los Caballos" necklace features an artisan polymer clay horse and foal pendant with two colors and shapes of freshwater pearls - unique horse jewelry for women.

An exquisite jewelry gift for the woman who adores the majesty of horses, the LOS CABALLOS handmade necklace features an artisan created, one of a kind mare and foal pendant with freshwater pearls in two colors and shapes. The unique pendant, a small work of art, was created from two-toned polymer clay, a sparkly pearly white on top and a shimmering light barn red on the bottom. The horses were drawn free hand with India ink. The larger mare was painted with copper and gold inks while the smaller foal was colored black with India ink. The pendant was sealed with an acrylic finish, but the artist asks that the pendant be limited to water exposure.  The pendant glistens and glimmers as the light hits it at different angles, something the photos can’t show.  To perfectly complement the amazing horses pendant, two colors and shapes of glowing freshwater pearls were used - the luster of these pearls are absolutely amazing. Coppery bronze pearls make up most of the main body of the necklace. Since they are baroque pearls, providing wonderful texture to the design, each pearl is different in size and shape with some having a flat side. For added eye appeal, a round brown pearl was added between each grouping of five baroque pearls.
