The exquisitely beautiful INCAN ROSE handmade earrings are a perfect jewelry gift for the woman who has a love for unique, natural pink gemstones! Pink rhodochrosite are the gorgeous focal of the earrings with glowing gray peacock pearls used as highlights. Found in the Andes in Peru (and a few other places in the world), rhodochrosite is a fairly rare gemstone that was sacred to the Incas. They believed that rhodochrosite is the blood of former rulers that was turned to stone. Because of that, the gemstones is sometimes called "Rosa del Inca" or "Incan Rose." As you can see in the photos, the highly polished rhodochrosite teardrops are mainly a lovely medium pink. Eye-catching natural gray and white banding run through the teardrops, a bit different on each side, causing a landscape pattern effect. The top and bottom of each teardrop is capped with small sterling silver daisy spacers.  To perfectly complement the colors of the rhodochrosite, two gray button pearls (flat on one side) were stacked above the teardrops. The pearls have a glorious, color-shifting peacock effect depending on the angle of the light. Red Black Chunky Necklace, Magnesite Onyx Handmade Statement Jewelry

The RED HOT handmade necklace features chunky red magnesite rounds and black onyx discs - unique artisan jewelry for women.

Big and bold and oh, so beautiful, the RED HOT handmade necklace surely will make a statement each and every time it is worn. Jewelry for the woman who loves to wear one of a kind designs and loves the color combination of red and black, the necklace features large red magnesite rounds, black onyx discs and sterling silver. The large rounds are magnesite, a gemstone that is naturally an off white color with brown veins. Since it takes a dye easily, you often can find it in various colors, including red. Eleven permanently dyed red magnesite rounds make up the front of the necklace. The color is a rich, eye-catching red, each stone with darker veining, some with more, some less. The finish of the gemstones is glossy, oftentimes reflecting the light.  So that the unique necklace drapes gracefully, a single, high shine black onyx disc is found between each red magnesite round. A 3 mm sterling silver bead is found on each side of the discs. Three groups of five black onyx discs finish the back of the necklace, each group separated by a sterling bead. To securely clasp the necklace, a lovely sterling silver hook clasp set with hammered texture was used. Paintbrush Jasper Necklace, Wood Magnesite Landscape Handmade Jewelry

The "Adventure Calls" handmade necklace features an amazing paintbrush jasper pendant, hand carved wood beads and natural magnesite - unique gemstone jewelry for women.

Intricate lines, artsy splashes and splatters - looking as if they were painted by a human hand - caused some indigenous people to believe paintbrush jasper is Mother Earth speaking to her children, if we could just read what she painted. The one of a kind ADVENTURE CALLS handmade necklace features an exquisite paintbrush jasper gemstone pendant. To perfectly complement the pendant, unique hand carved wood beads and natural magnesite gemstones were used. The paintbrush jasper (also called landscape jasper, picture, dendritic jasper and artistic jasper) pendant is absolutely magnificent with well defined “brush strokes” that fan out like watercolors across paper. The pendant has a light two-toned beige background with intriguing darker brick red “landscapes” and tiny black dendritic dots. There is a design on both sides of the pendant, making it hard to decide which should be the front. A copper spiral was hand formed and hammered to cover the drilled bead hole and to start the rustically wire wrapped copper bail. Mother Earth is definitely telling a story with this pendant.  Hand carved wood beads and natural magnesite highlight the pendant, bringing out its designs and colors. The dark brown wood tubes, three on each side of the necklace, were hand carved so all just a bit different. As you can see in the photos, the tubes are carved in three sections. The two outer sections have a leaf and dot design, the inner with what looks like a paisley and dot design. Copper flower spacers were used one each end of the wood tubes to add a wonderful coppery glow. The rest of the necklace is made up of natural magnesite gemstone rondelles in a creamy off-white color with brown matrix. A magnesite rondelle was placed between each wood tube with a copper bicone on each side for beautiful drape. Groups of three rondelles make up the back of the necklace, each group separated by a single copper bicone. A twisted copper toggle clasp with an arrowhead shape finishes the necklace. African Batik Boho Necklace, Black White Tribal Handmade Jewelry Women

Individually handmade black and white batik bone beads add a boho, tribal feel to the necklace design.

*** How batik bone beads are made:

The batik bone flag beads used in NZURI SANA are so lovely - even more so when you understand the process of making them. Most bone beads are made in Ghana and Kenya, and, to a lesser degree, in Cameroon. "Batik" is traditionally a method of dyeing fabric where a clear wax design is applied to the material. When the material is then dyed, the wax repels most of the dye. This same technique is applied to bleached cow or buffalo bone, usually using hot beeswax because if its extreme resistance to dye. After a pattern is painted on with the hot beeswax, the bone is then dipped in the dye. Most dyes used are made from natural sources: leaves, tree bark and/or sap. The bone beads are left in the dye bath a varying length of time, depending on how dark the bones need to be dyed. Once the desired color is achieved, the bead is dried, the wax is scraped off and the bead is carefully polished. Each bead is done this way, a very laborious process from beginning to end! But this process makes each and every bead unique.

The "Blessed Mother" handmade necklace features a symbolic, two-sided Virgin Mary pewter pendant, blue sodalite gemstones and light blue Swarovski crystals - jewelry for a Catholic woman.

The BLESSED MOTHER handmade necklace, featuring a meaningful two sided Virgin Mary pendant, is a perfect jewelry gift for the woman of Catholic faith. Blue sodalite gemstones and Swarovski crystals were added to highlight the pendant, which was cast from high quality, lead free pewter right here in the U.S.  On one side of the pendant is an intricately detailed Blessed Virgin Mary in front of a budded cross with trailing roses.  The opposite side is inscribed with “Bless This Woman” along with an Our Lady’s Cushion flower. • The Virgin Mary: the Divine Mother, the Mother of Jesus/God
• Budded cross: the three “buds” on each end of the cross represent the Holy Trinity
• Roses: known as the “queen of flowers”, roses represent Mary as Queen of Heaven.
• Our Lady’s Cushion: also known the sea-pink (thrift) was said to have formed cushions for Mary to sit on during the flight into Egypt.
• “Bless This Woman”: Mary is believed, through prayers, to intercede for people who are experiencing sorrows

Definitely not your run of the mill black and white jewelry, the MEDLEY handmade necklace is filled with delightfully unexpected tiny splashes of color. Perfect for either dress up or dress down, the one of a kind beauty is created with unique mosaic magnesite rounds, faceted turquoise rondelles, black onyx rondelles and sterling silver. Magnesite is a real gemstone that is naturally white or off white in color with either gray or brown matrix. Since the stone is easily dyed, it can be found in many colors. Mosaic magnesite, however, is a composite stone made from magnesite chips (that would otherwise be thrown away) and a hard resin binder. The composite is normally formed into a block, and then beads, pendants and other shapes are carefully cut from it. The binder in these stones is gray which perfectly highlights the natural white color. For added interest, a medley of dyed magnesite chips were added into the binder, creating eye catching beads with bits of turquoise, medium creamy brown, reddish brown and dark brown. Each bead is unique, some with several flecks of different colors and some are beautifully white and gray. Between each round bead are small black onyx rondelles separated from the mosaic magnesite by 2 mm sterling silver beads.

Black onyx and sterling silver beads finish the back of the necklace. For an unexpected surprise, a genuine turquoise rondelle was added to each side of the necklace just after the last mosaic magnesite bead. Since the turquoise is faceted, they add surprising, subtle sparkle to the overall design. A sterling silver hook clasp with granulated dot decoration securely fastens the necklace when worn.
