The artisan made lampwork glass heart beads used to create the CORAZONES PRECIOSOS earrings are absolutely charming! The two-sided lampwork puffy hearts started out with a base of rich coral orange glass. To create eye appeal, a band of contrasting ivory glass was added. Lines and dots of fine silver embellish the ivory bands, adding wonderful texture and a silver gleam. A single sterling silver daisy spacer and small sterling bead caps the bottom of each heart with a single sterling bead capping the top. Swarovski crystals are renowned for their breath-taking sparkle, and the ones used for these earrings are no exception. Sitting on top of the sterling bead is a faceted Swarovski bicone in a fiery color called “Indian red,” a perfect complement to the coral orange of the hearts. To make the earrings seemingly dance from your ears, two links of long and short sterling box chain connect the main body of the earrings to the sterling silver French hooks. Cactus Red Flower Earrings, Red Coral Copper Vintage Handmade Jewelry

The fun "Spikes" handmade earrings feature artisan vintage look cactus on copper dangles and red coral - unique jewelry for women.

Cactus and other succulents are all the rage now to grow . . . and to wear (jewelry, that is!).  Stylish and lightweight to wear, the perfectly named, one of a kind SPIKES handmade earrings feature artisan vintage look cactus dangles, red coral discs and copper.  The eye catching cactus dangles look like they were upcycled from old tea or cookie tins -  but they only mimic rustic vintage tins.  The dangles were individually hand cut into a rectangle shape from modern copper sheeting, filed and sanded.  A permanent metal transfer was applied for the faux tin look and then the charms were sealed for many years of wearing fun.  Against a background of light gray and cream, a green barrel cactus with long, wicked looking thorns leans a bit to the left on each dangle.  To add extra interest, a single red blossom pokes up from the crown of each cactus.  Since the dangles were individually handmade, there are slight differences which add wonderful rustic vibes. The back of each dangle is smooth, shiny copper which will gradually gain a patina over time.  Because the charms are made from copper sheeting, the earrings are very lightweight to wear.

The color of the flower on the barrel cacti are perfectly complemented with hand cut red coral discs.   Three discs were used to create a stack, capped on the bottom with a single pure copper bicone and capped on the top with two bicones separated by a small copper bead..  Because the red coral was hand cut, the discs are very similar in size and finish but are not exactly the same.  All of the elements were strung on copper wire, wire wrapped and then connected to sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the SPIKES handmade earrings are a perfect jewelry gift for the woman who loves cactus.

Indian Head Coin Earrings, Antique Copper Turquoise Handmade Jewelry

 

The "Pretty Pennies" handmade earrings feature antique Indian Head copper pennies, coral orange czech glass discs and genuine turquoise - unique jewelry for the woman who loves old coins.

Created from authentic Indian Head copper pennies from over 100 years ago, the fun, one of a kind PRETTY PENNIES earrings are perfect for the woman who collects coins, who wants to own a bit of numismatic history or just loves unique handmade jewelry! The earrings feature two sided Indian Head pennies (also called an Indian Head cent), one dated 1893 and one the other is from 1901. The copper coins were lightly polished to bring out the fabulous detail on both the front and the back.  As you can see from the photos, there is some wear on the pennies, a few dings and scratches that’s not unusual from pennies that date that far back.  To add an unexpected pop of rich color, two coral orange Czech glass discs are stacked above each penny. Since the discs have a silver metallic wash, they shimmer in the light. A genuine turquoise rondelle was added on top, separated from the coral discs by a copper spacer. The blue turquoise has a bit of pale beige matrix. A 3 mm copper bead caps everything. Sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents finishes the earrings perfectly. These one of a kind SOUTHWEST SONG handmade earrings are definitely filled to the brim with the enchanting boho vibes of the Desert Southwest. The unique earrings were created with artisan made copper feather dangles, turquoise magnesite discs and coral Czech glass discs. Individually handmade, the dangles started out as a sheet of copper that was cut into a kite shape, the edges filed to smoothness and then textured with a dotted design. A copper feather charm set with polished turquoise magnesite was glued securely to each kite. Then double hand wire wrapped copper spirals were added to the top of the dangles for eye interest and texture. The back of the dangles are silky smooth. To perfectly enhance the Southwest flair, the copper dangles were wire wrapped to a stack of turquoise magnesite and coral Czech glass discs, allowing the dangles LOTS of flirty movement when worn. The SOUTHWEST DAYS handmade earrings are definitely eye-catching with their rich colors so indicative of the canyons, mountains and the immense blue sky of the Desert Southwest. Unique jewelry that definitely screams the casual elegance of the Southwest - and also perfect for 4th of July wear - the earrings feature artisan handmade lampwork glass beads, coral Czech glass discs and sterling silver. Copper Ammonite Necklace, Spiral Unakite Peridot Coral Handmade Jewelry

The "Whispers of Time" handmade necklace features an artisan copper ammonite pendant, unakite, copal and peridot gemstones - unique jewelry for women.

Filled with amazing earthy elegance, the WHISPERS OF TIME handmade necklace is a perfect gift for the woman who loves to wear stylish artisan jewelry. The one of a kind necklace features an artisan created copper ammonite spiral pendant, unakite barrels, green peridot nuggets and pale pink coral drums. The gorgeous ammonite pendant was handcrafted from beginning to end from precious copper metal clay.  The solid copper pendant was patinated and polished to bring out the incredible detail. An actual ammonite, from 240 - 65 million years old, was used to make the mold for the pendant! As you can see in the photos, the ammonite gracefully ridged spirals.  A ridged bail at the top of the pendant attaches it to the main body of the necklace.  Three types of gemstones perfectly complement the pendant: unakite, peridot and coral. The colors of the barrel-shaped unakite are very earthy: mostly shades of mottled green with dark terracotta accents, although a few beads are mostly terracotta with a few sprinkles of green. To lighten the color of the design, pale pink coral drums are scattered throughout the necklace, capped by copper spacers and green peridot nuggets. The coral is faceted so provides subtle sparkle to the necklace. The green peridot are nugget-shaped so they are similar in size but not exactly. The "Flowering Cactus" earrings were created with artisan handmade cactus on copper charms and red coral frangia - unique jewelry for women.

Since succulents and cactus are all the rage these days, you will show your extreme fashion sense each time you wear the fun FLOWERING CACTUS earrings. The one of a kind earrings feature artisan made, blooming cactus on copper dangles and spiky red coral frangia. The unique square-shaped cactus charms look as if they were cut from old, weathered cookie or tea tins. But they only mimic rustic vintage tins since they were individually artisan hand cut, filed and sanded from modern copper with a permanent metal transfer cactus design.  There is a mix of cacti against a white background, but most can be identified as opuntias (or prickly pears). What catches the eye are the rich red flowers blooming on several of the cacti. Because the charms are made from copper, the earrings are very lightweight to wear.  To represent the thorns on many cacti and to highlight the red flowers of the dangles, spiky red coral frangia was stacked above the cactus charms. Five pieces were used, each different from the other to add a “thorny” look. The color of the coral is not bright red but more mellow like they have been somewhat bleached for years in the sun that cactus love. A copper 3 mm bead caps the top and bottom of the coral frangia.
