Sweet millefiori flower jewelry for spring and summer wear, the one of a kind BELLISSIMI FIORI handmade earrings are a perfect Easter or Mother’s Day gift for the woman who loves flowers. The dangle earrings feature artisan millefiori enamel discs, artisan pink lampwork glass beads, blue Swarovski crystals and pink Czech glass beads. The beautiful discs were artisan hand cut and filed from copper and hammered to create a concave dome shape. The domes were given a pink enamel glass background, shading from a light pink to a darker pink. To create the floral pattern, tiny multi-colored millefiori glass beads in mainly shades of blue, aqua and lavender were randomly added and melted with a high heat torch. Millefiori, a glass technique originally developed in Italy, is Italian for “thousands of flowers.” As you can see in the photos, each disc has a different millefiori flower design, beautiful against the pink background. The back of the discs are also enameled with pink and lavender.  To perfectly complement the enamel flower discs, three different types of beads were used. Just above each disc is a rich pink lampwork glass beads. The shape is a somewhat smashed flying saucer shape that has ridges on the top and bottom. Since the lampwork beads are translucent, they absolutely glow when the earrings are worn. Just above each lampie, separated by a small sterling silver daisy spacer, is a faceted Swarovski crystal bicone in a regal dark blue color called “indigo.”  Separated from each crystal by a small sterling disc spacer is silky, matte finish pale pink Czech glass bead that also glows in the light.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the BELLISSIMI FIORI earrings are perfect for the woman who loves to flower garden, owns a flower shop or just just loves the soothing beauty of flowers. “Bellissimi fiori” is Italian for “beautiful flowers.”

Michelangelo Creation of Adam Art Earrings, Handmade Artisan Jewelry

The "Creation of Adam" handmade earrings feature artisan polymer clay with part of Michelangelo's iconic painting, black Czech glass roller beads and Swarovski crystals - unique art jewelry for women.

With a simple but powerful scene of two fingers almost touching, THE CREATION OF ADAM art earrings are based on the world famous fresco painting of the same name by Renaissance sculptor, painter, architect and poet Michelangelo. The one of a kind earrings feature artisan created polymer clay rectangles, black Czech glass roller beads with a Picasso finish and sparkling Swarovski crystals. The art dangles were individually created from high quality black polymer clay formed in a rectangular shape that was applied with a permanent art transfer and given several coats of varnish for durability and shine.  The scene is of two outstretched hands, fingers about to touch, against a pale blue and off white sky. The earrings show just a small portion of the much larger iconic fresco on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City, painted by Michelangelo in 1511. The fresco illustrates the Bible’s creation story from the Book of Genesis where God is just at the point of giving the spark of life to Adam, the first man, by touching his outstretched finger. The Creation of Adam is the fourth scene in the Genesis frescoes painted by Michelangelo on the ceiling between 1508-1512. To perfectly highlight the simple color combination of Michelangelo’s painting, premium quality faceted Czech glass roller beads and glittering Swarovski crystals were used. Two faceted Czech roller beads were stacked on top of the dangles. They were created with opaque black glass with a rustic, mossy looking Picasso finish of pale lichen green, pale aqua and beige. Representing stars in the sky, nestled into the top black roller bead is a mega-sparkle Swarovski crystal bicone with a color shifting aurora borealis rainbow finish. Since the roller bead and Swarovski crystals are faceted, they provide plenty of eye catching sparkle at each movement. The lightweight to wear earrings are finished with sterling silver French hooks with a small Swarovski crystal added for even more glitter. Lime Green Peach Lampwork Earrings, Spring Summer Handmade Jewelry

The colorful "Sorbetto" handmade earrings feature artisan bicone shaped lampwork beads in lime green and peach pink with Swarovski crystals - unique jewelry for women.

Like a refreshing serving of summer fruit sorbet, the SORBETTO earrings look almost good enough to eat. But please don’t since they’re made out of lampwork glass! The individually artisan handmade beads are a bicone shape, larger in the middle and tapering to each end. The upper half used glass that is a radiant lime green color. The bottom is a rich peachy pink glass. To add even more eye catching beauty, a wispy overlay of lavender is found around the middle of each lampwork bicone.

Spring and summer jewelry needs sparkle, so two coordinating colors of mega sparkle Swarovski crystals were used. Rainforest Leaf Earrings, Garnet Blue Lampwork Boho Handmade Jewelry

The "Rainforest Dreams" boho earrings feature artisan copper leaf charms, copper chain dangles with red garnet, artisan spotted turquoise lampwork glass beads and ruby red Czech glass beads - one of a kind jewelry for women.

Looking as if they are part of an exotic plant in a lush tropical forest, the RAINFOREST DREAMS handmade earrings are definitely not your ordinary earrings. Filled with earthy boho goodness, the one of a kind earrings feature artisan copper leaf charms, rustic artisan made dotted turquoise blue lampwork glass beads, copper chain dangles with faceted red garnet and garnet red Czech glass. The copper leaves were individually artisan handcrafted.  As you can see in the photos, they are very similar in design but are somewhat different, just like natural leaves. The leaves are filled with incredible detail with the top of each leaf somewhat folded together at the top. To add unexpected eye appeal and much movement, twisted link copper chain was wire wrapped into the folds to dangle down. A rich red faceted garnet nugget with a hint of purple was attached to the end of each chain.

The unique handmade earrings feature beautifully detailed copper lead charms with an exotic rainforest look to them.

To perfectly highlight the beauty of the copper leaves, rustic artisan lampwork glass bead were added to the top of the leaves where the stem would be. The lampwork beads were created with a base of light turquoise glass with darker blue spots and splotches. The lampwork beads are not perfectly round, but more of a nugget shape, and they were lightly acid etched for a velvety matte finish.  A translucent ruby red Czech glass melon bead was placed on top of each lampwork bead, separated by a copper daisy spacer. The melon beads have a light tan Picasso finish which settled in the creases between each ridge for an antiqued look.  For extra adornment, a garnet nugget was added to each sterling silver French hook earwire. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the RAINFOREST DREAMS earrings were crafted for the woman who loves jewelry with an exotic flair.

Chunky Green Serpentine Gemstone Necklace, Handmade Jewelry Gift Women

The rich "Verdant" handmade necklace was created with chunky green serpentine gemstones in three shapes and copper - unique artisan jewelry for women.

The rich green color of the serpentine gemstones used in the VERDANT necklace is reminiscent of the riot of green goodness in a tropical rainforest. Verdant, indeed! The elegant, one of a kind statement necklace features chunky serpentine in three different shapes - barrels, rondelles and discs - for lovely texture. As you can see in the photos, the background color of the gemstones are a rich medium green. Snaking and squiggling through each bead is a lighter green (and some darker green), adding great visual beauty. Each serpentine bead has its own personality - some have more lighter green lines and some have less.
