The "Bellissimi Fiori" handmade earrings feature artisan millefiori enamel discs, artisan lampwork glass beads, Swarovski crystals and Czech beads - unique jewelry for women.

Sweet millefiori flower jewelry for spring and summer wear, the one of a kind BELLISSIMI FIORI handmade earrings are a perfect Easter or Mother’s Day gift for the woman who loves flowers. The dangle earrings feature artisan millefiori enamel discs, artisan pink lampwork glass beads, blue Swarovski crystals and pink Czech glass beads. The beautiful discs were artisan hand cut and filed from copper and hammered to create a concave dome shape. The domes were given a pink enamel glass background, shading from a light pink to a darker pink. To create the floral pattern, tiny multi-colored millefiori glass beads in mainly shades of blue, aqua and lavender were randomly added and melted with a high heat torch. Millefiori, a glass technique originally developed in Italy, is Italian for “thousands of flowers.” As you can see in the photos, each disc has a different millefiori flower design, beautiful against the pink background. The back of the discs are also enameled with pink and lavender.  To perfectly complement the enamel flower discs, three different types of beads were used. Just above each disc is a rich pink lampwork glass beads. The shape is a somewhat smashed flying saucer shape that has ridges on the top and bottom. Since the lampwork beads are translucent, they absolutely glow when the earrings are worn. Just above each lampie, separated by a small sterling silver daisy spacer, is a faceted Swarovski crystal bicone in a regal dark blue color called “indigo.”  Separated from each crystal by a small sterling disc spacer is silky, matte finish pale pink Czech glass bead that also glows in the light.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the BELLISSIMI FIORI earrings are perfect for the woman who loves to flower garden, owns a flower shop or just just loves the soothing beauty of flowers. “Bellissimi fiori” is Italian for “beautiful flowers.”

Red Orange Yellow Fan Chandelier Earrings, Boho Handmade Jewelry Gift

The fun "Vivacious" handmade earrings feature artisan enamel fan dangles, Swarovski crystals, copper and sterling silver - boho jewelry gift for women.

Perfectly named, the VIVACIOUS handmade earrings are full of brilliant color and flirty sparkle. Fun, lightweight jewelry for the woman who loves a boho look, the one of a kind earrings are created from artisan hand enameled cut-out fan dangles and Swarovski crystals. The colorful fan shaped dangles were individually created. Shiny red, orange and yellow glass powder was fused onto the front of cut-out copper fans at very high heat with a torch. The yellow is found at the top, the orange is in the middle and the red is at the bottom. Since the enameling was done by hand, the fans are very similar but also different, definitely making the earrings one of a kind jewelry. As you can see in the photos, the enamel is very shiny, so it was impossible to photograph them without getting reflections. The back of the fans are finished in shiny black enamel.  To perfectly complement the colors used for the enamel and to add mega sparkle, six faceted Swarovski crystal bicones were wire wrapped with copper wire to dange from the bottom of each fan. Three colors were used: light Siam red, tangerine orange and sunflower yellow. Just imagine how the crystals wil sparkle and flash at each movement of the head when the earrings are worn! To add even more glitter, a tangerine orange Swarovski crystal was added to each sterling silver earwire for unexpected fun. Inspired by the amazing architectural details and intricate mosaics found throughout the city of Marrakech, Morocco, the exotic MARRAKECH boho dangle earrings are definitely eye catching beauties. The one of a kind handmade earrings feature individually artisan created bronze teardrop dangles with a design of arches and other decorative shapes. The richly glowing bronze teardrops have wonderful texture since the arches are recessed in from the surrounding shapes. The back side of the teardrops are smooth.  To add earthy beauty to the earrings design, speckled lampwork glass beads, also artisan handmade, were placed above each bronze teardrop. Glowing crystal clear lampwork glass beads, spotted purple lampwork beads and Thai Hill Tribes fine silver cornerless beads all come together to create the simply beautiful BELLEZZA handmade earrings. The two sets of lampwork beads are both artisan handmade from two different artists. The lampwork beads used on the bottom of the exquisite earrings are a rondelle shape and were individually created from transparent glass. Each bead has a few tiny air bubbles, which adds definite eye appeal. The lovely purple lampwork beads beads started out as clear glass. When they were still in their molten stage, a rich berry purple glass frit was applied to form the subtle spots. Above each purple bead is a Thai Hill Tribes fine silver cornerless beads with an imprinted flower design on the flat sides. Artisan made high in the mountains of Thailand from fine silver (more pure than sterling silver), each bead is very similar but not exactly the same.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the BELLEZA earrings were made for the woman who adores one of a kind earrings, especially those that glow when worn. “Bellezza” is Italian for “beauty.”

The larger lampwork beads were individually artisan created from crystal clear glass and the smaller from clear glass with purple frit.

Southwest Spirals Earrings, Rustic Polymer Clay Turquoise Jewelry Gift

The "Desert Canyonlands" handmade earrings feature artisan polymer clay petroglyph spiral dangles, artisan  lampwork glass beads and genuine turquoise - unique jewelry for women.

Filled with the weathered, organic look of petroglyphs found in a deep canyon in the Desert Southwest, the DESERT CANYONLANDS are a perfect jewelry gift for the woman who loves rustic looking, artisan jewelry. The one of a kind earrings feature artisan polymer clay dangles, artisan lampwork glass beads and genuine turquoise. The dangles were individually handmade from a single piece of white polymer clay, the swirling spiral design drawn freehand and then incised. The polymer clay was then cut in half, washed with dark brown and rusty copper acrylic pigments, and after the final curing, a crystal protectant was applied. Because the dangles are made from polymer clay, the earrings are very lightweight to wear.  To perfectly complement the Southwest feel of the petroglyph design, speckled brown lampwork glass beads and genuine turquoise was used. The lampwork beads, also artisan handmade, were created from clear glass that was peppered with brown glass frit to make dots and splotches, perfect with the small dots on the polymer clay dangles. Stacked on the lampwork beads are genuine turquoise gemstone rounds, separated by copper daisy spacers. The turquoise has more of a greenish cast with a bit of pale brown. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the unique DESERT CANYONLANDS definitely evoke the spirit of the Desert Southwest for the woman who enjoys wearing artisan jewelry. 

The swirling polymer clay dangles were artisan handmade and inspired by Southwestern spiral petroglyphs.

Amber Lampwork & Amethyst Gemstone Earrings

- Sterling Silver Floral Beads, Artisan Glass Focal -

Amber lampwork glass and amethyst gemstone beads come together in a lovely stylish pair of sterling silver handmade dangle earrings. The pretty lampwork beads are rondelle shaped (wider than they are long) and wrapped in fine silver. They're also translucent, which gives them a fluid and dreamy quality. These shining beauties were handmade using premium materials by Charlotte Hayes of Covergirlbeads.

To these lampwork beads I added small faceted amethyst gemstone rounds and delightful little square-shaped sterling silver pillow beads, which have a raised granulation design of a six-petaled flower on the front and back.

The basic design of each dangle is an elegant stack from top to bottom of an amethyst round, a sterling pillow bead, a lampwork rondelle, and another amethyst round, with sterling silver daisy spacers between the beads. The dangle is made from sterling wire, with a loop at the base and a triple wire wrap at the top. I carefully hammered the loops for strength. There are also pink Japanese seed beads within the lampwork focals, to keep the large beads better centered on the wire; these little additions are unseen, but do their job nicely.

The earring hooks are French style (aka fish hook) and, like all the components in this special pair, are sterling silver. They come with clear ear guards for better security when the earrings are worn. For an extra touch of elegance, I added small Swarovski copper crystal bicones to the front of the hooks. Their color is a nice complement to the amber lampwork. Including the hooks, the length of these earrings is approximately 1 and 7/8 inches.

Unique and handmade with care and good wishes, these pretty earrings are elegantly versatile, ready to add an earthy touch to a more formal, dressy occasion or some eye-catching shine and sparkle to everyday wear. They come on earring cards and in a nice organza bag, all set for gifting to that special someone—perhaps yourself!

Rustic Mykonos Disc Earrings, Turquoise Heishe Boho Tribal Jewelry

The rustic "Delos" handmade earrings feature copper over pewter tribal geometric donut discs, old turquoise heishe and ruby red Czech glass - tribal jewelry for women.

Looking as if they might have been excavated at an archaeological site on the Greek island of Delos, the well-named DELOS handmade earrings have a definite rustic, boho vibe. The unique earrings were created with two sided Mykonos donut discs, old genuine turquoise heishe (heishi), ruby red Czech glass and copper. The dark copper over pewter donut discs were made by artisans on the Greek island of Mykonos and feature engraved geometric tribal patterns on both sides. To bring out the detailing of the pattern, a turquoise green verdigris was applied and then polished off, leaving the patina in the recessed areas. A bit of shiny copper shows through the patina for extra eye appeal.  Three pieces of old, hand cut turquoise heishe were stacked above the discs, separated by copper disc spacers.  The turquoise is very rustic as old hand cut turquoise heishe normally is.  To add an unexpected pop of color, ruby red Czech glass rondelles with a glowing lavender/ turquoise Picasso finish, sit on top of the turquoise.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the unique DELOS earrings will make a wonderful gift for the woman who loves an ancient, rustic look to her artisan made jewelry.

The unique Mykonos donut discs are copper over pewter with an engraved tribal design with a turquoise blue green verdigris.

A pair of purple and green lampwork glass beads teams with faceted purple amethyst to create these intriguing handmade earrings, appropriately named WISTERIA. Eye catching, one of a kind earrings for spring and summer wear, they will make a lovely floral inspired jewelry gift for Easter, Mother’s Day, a birthday . . . or just because. The individually artisan handmade lampwork glass beads started out as opaque white glass. While still in their molten stage, dark purple, lavender and green frit was added to give the enchanting speckled look, so reminiscent of the purples and greens of a blooming wisteria vine. Lead free pewter bead caps with a leaf design caps the top and bottom of the lampwork glass beads to continue the floral fee of the earrings.

The lampwork glass beads were individually handmade from white glass with purple and green frit to add the speckles.

Stacked on top of each lampwork bead is a rich purple amethyst rondelle. Since the amethyst gemstones are faceted and translucent, they provide subtle sparkle and glow to the overall earring design when worn. Each amethyst bead is capped with a leaf bead cap, the same used on the lampwork beads, and a small sterling silver bead. Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the design professionally.
