Pastel Flower Hoop Earrings, Vintage Victorian Handmade Jewelry Gift

The lovely "Victorian Whimsy" dangle earrings feature artisan made copper floral hoops, Swarovski crystals and copper - unique flower jewelry for women.

Looking as if they were much beloved floral jewelry from the Victorian era, the VICTORIAN WHIMSY handmade earrings truly radiate an enchanting vintage charm. The one of a kind beauties feature artisan created pastel pink flowers on minty green copper hoops and two shades of sparkling pink Swarovski crystals. Individually artisan made, the whimsical aged flower images were permanently transferred to a length of copper sheeting and then folded into a hoop, the edges carefully filed and sanded for smoothness. The intricate floral design has old Victorian vibes with various shades of “faded” pink flowers against a pale mint green background. The flower image runs the full length of the hoop, front to back.  The inside of the folded hoops is shiny copper, a perfect complement to the mint green and provides a vibrant glow. Since each hoop was individually made, they are very similar in design but not exactly the same.  To highlight the pink flowers of the earring design, two shades of pink Swarovski crystal faceted bicones were stacked above the flower hoops. The darker pink crystal is called “rose” and the upper lighter pink crystal is called “light rose.” Each crystal adds a huge dose of the spectacular sparkle that Swarovski crystals are famous for. A small copper disc spacer separates each crystal.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the one of a kind VICTORIAN WHIMSY earrings were created for the woman who loves unique flower jewelry with a delightful vintage look.

The beautiful hoops were individually artisan handmade, copper strips folded into a hoop with a permanent metal transfer.

Turquoise Gold Owl Earrings, Swarovski Crystals Handmade Jewelry

The "Turquoise Hooties" handmade earrings feature turquoise and gold Czech glass owls, Czech crystals and Swarovski crystals - unique jewelry for women.

If you are looking for a pair of fun, trendy earrings that are . . . well . . . a real hoot, then the TURQUOISE HOOTIES owl earrings are perfect for you! The one of a kind, handmade earrings feature two sided, rustic looking turquoise and metallic gold Czech glass owl beads. To add sparkle, clear Czech glass crystals set in copper metal rondelles and colorful heliotrope Swarovski crystals were added. The fabulous owl beads were created with a base glass of turquoise blue and imprinted with a very detailed owl design of eyes, a beak and individual feathers. To bring out those details, the owls were coated with a metallic gold Picasso finish and then polished. The Picasso finish was left in the recessed areas while the turquoise glass was revealed in the higher areas. Since the owls beads are two sided, the earrings look great from any angle!  To add extreme sparkle to the unique earrings, two types of glittering crystals were used. Sitting on top of each owl’s head, like a crown, is a copper rondelle set with six clear Czech crystals. The crystals might be small, but, oh, do they ever sparkle! Nestled into the top of each rondelle is a faceted 6 mm Swarovski crystal bicones in an amazing color called “heliotrope”. These crystals have a special coating that causes them to flass many colors including blues, purples, pinks, gold and greens. It’s incredible to look down in the crystals and see all those sparkle deluxe colors!  Since owl jewelry is very stylish right now, you will be ahead of the curve wearing these unique earrings. A perfect gift idea for the woman who loves these wise birds, the TURQUOISE HOOTIES artisan earrings were carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.

Spiral Healers Hand Earrings, Mykonos Aqua Lampwork Handmade Jewelry

The "Spiral Hands" handmade earrings feature Mykonos healer's hand spiral charms, artisan lampwork beads and Czech glass - unique jewelry for her.

The meaningful healer’s hand with a spiral in the palm used in the SPIRAL HANDS handmade earrings is believed to be a powerful symbol of protection and healing. The small, two-sided spiral healer’s hand charms used in the one of a kind earrings are copper over pewter and were made on the island of Mykonos in Greece by artisans. The rustic hands were given an aqua turquoise patina to add a look of ageless beauty to them. The charms hang as mirror images and, since they are two-sided, they look fabulous from any angle when the petite earrings are worn.  To perfectly complement the turquoise patina of the spiral healer’s hands, artisan clear lampwork glass beads with aqua speckles and spots were above each hand.  Stacked above each lampwork bead is a copper disc spacer and two types of Czech glass beads:  a glass disc in a lovely translucent pink rose color with a metallic silver Picasso finish and a petite ridged melon bead in a turquoise blue green color with an earthy metallic brick red and silver Picasso finish.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the SPIRAL HANDS earrings were created for the woman who loves symbolic jewelry and loves to wear smaller earrings.

The meaningful charms made in Mykonos feature a hand with a spiral on the palm, referred to as a healer's hand or shaman's hand.

Dragonfly Earrings, Pewter Swirling Blue Handmade Jewelry Gift Women

The "Blue Dasher" handmade earrings feature artisan made pewter dragonfly charms, swirling blue glass beads and metallic blue Swarovski crystals.

Named after a beautiful blue dragonfly that is found throughout a large portion of the United States, Canada and Mexico, the one of a kind BLUE DASHER dangle earrings are a perfect gift idea for the woman who adores watching the fantastic flight of dragonflies as they expertly dip and dash through the air. The handmade earrings feature round pewter charms with a raised dragonfly design, swirling shades of blue glass beads and metallic blue Swarovski crystals. Just look at the detailing of the artisan designed and hand cast lead free dragonfly charms! To bring out the amazing texture of the raised design, the charms were given a dark, rustic patina and then polished, the raised areas left with a glowing silver color. The back of the charms have a dark patina finish.

Swirling blue lampwork beads and sparkling metallic blue Swarovski crystals perfectly complement the dragonfly charms.

To perfectly mimic the real colors of the Blue Dasher dragonflies, swirling blue glass beads with facets and metallic blue Swarovski crystals were stacked above the charms. The glass beads started out with a core of the palest blue (almost white) and then swirls of various shades of blue, black and light teal were added. The bead was then encased with clear glass and faceted for subtle sparkle. To add even more intense sparkle, a rich “metallic blue” Swarovski crystal was added on top of the glass beads separated by a sterling silver daisy spacer. Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the BLUE DASHER dragonfly earrings were created for the woman who loves unique, one of a kind artisan jewelry.

Red Poppies Earrings, Flowers Copper Coral Handmade Valentine Jewelry

The "Pretty Poppies" handmade earrings feature artisan red poppies on copper charms, red coral and Swarovski crystals

Perfect springtime flower jewelry that is also perfect for year long wear, the cheerful PRETTY POPPIES handmade earrings will put a smile on your face every time you wear them! The one of a kind earrings were created from artisan red poppy flower charms complemented by red coral and Swarovski crystals. The unique charms look like they were cut from old cookie or tea tins. But they only mimic vintage tins since they were hand cut, filed and sanded from modern copper. A permanent metal transfer was then applied: a field of perky red poppies with seed pods, green leaves and stems against an ivory background. Because the charms were individually handmade, they are very similar, but, if you look closely, you can see a bit of a difference. The back of the charms are glowing copper which will gradually gain a patina over time. Since the charms are made from copper, the earrings are extremely lightweight to wear.

To add simple finishing touches, red coral and Swarovski crystals were used. The red coral, a great complement to the red poppies, are small drum shaped. Each has a small dot of black pitting that is a natural part of coral. To add sparkle, a faceted Swarovski crystal bicone was stacked above each piece of coral, separated by a copper disc spacer. The color of the crystals is called “white opal,” a translucent creamy color with plenty of glitter. Sterling silver French hooks with copper bead accents finish the earrings perfectly. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the PRETTY POPPIES artisan earrings are a perfect gift idea for a loved one for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, a birthday or “just because.”
