Guaranteed to make you smile each and every time you wear them, the one of a kind JUMP FOR JOY hare / rabbit earrings are special pieces of whimsical jewelry that welcome spring, are perfect to celebrate Easter and can be worn all year long. Created with artisan enamel hare dangles, the fun earrings also feature flashing moonstone gemstones and glittering Swarovski crystals. The eye catching rabbit dangles were individually artisan made glass enameled copper.   A permanent decal with a leaping hare or rabbit design was applied while the glass was still molten. The whimsical long eared hares are grey with light brown highlights. Their long legs show that they are leaping along as they’re going about their business, perhaps celebrating the warmer weather. Hand painted spirals and dots also grace the lovely design. The back of each dangle is also enameled with speckled dark blue glass for strength and durability. Since the rabbit charms are individually artisan handmade, they are very similar in design but not exactly the same.  Since the leaping hares remind me of the Moon Rabbit, a Far Eastern mythical figure that lives on the moon often as a companion to the moon goddess, Chang’e, gorgeous moonstone gemstones and sparkling Swarovski crystals were stacked above the charms. Used in jewelry for many millennia (the Romans believed moonstone was solidified rays of the moon), moonstone is famous for its mesmerizing opalescent play of light, often flashing pearly blue when the light hits it just right. Unfortunately, the photos don’t do justice to the breathtaking flashes, but they definitely are there, much brighter than is shown. Two hand cut moonstone heishe are used, separated by copper disc spacers. To represent the stars, a single faceted Swarovski crystal bicone was placed above the moonstone. The clear crystals have an iridescent coating called “aurora borealis” (AB) which, when the light hits them right, produces an explosion of dazzling rainbow colors in blues, pinks, and yellows.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the JUMP FOR JOY earrings are a perfect gift for the woman who loves whimsical rabbit earrings celebrating the joy of spring.

Flower Boho Earrings, Colorful Blue Enamel Lampwork Handmade Jewelry

Perfect boho jewelry for spring and summer wear, the lightweight earrings feature colorful cut out rectangle enamel floral dangles, spotted periwinkle blue lampwork beads and sterling silver. The one of a kind, individually artisan created enamel dangles bring a beautiful bouquet of flowers to life! Medium blue glass powder, permanently fused at high heat onto cut out copper rectangles, was used to create the washed background. The eye catching glass flowers are in shades of peachy pink, yellow, turquoise blue and purple with red centers and green leaves and stems. Each was painstakingly applied bit by bit by hand, creating a dazzling raised design with a wonderful three-dimensional texture.  To perfectly complement the flower charms, an artisan made lampwork glass bead was placed above the dangles. The lampwork beads were created from opaque periwinkle blue glass with frit dots in shades of burgundy, yellow and aqua blue, highlighting the colors of the flowers on the dangles. The finish of the lampwork beads is high shine as you can see in the photos. A pewter bead cap with a leaf design and two 3 mm sterling beads cap each glass bead. Sterling silver French hooks finish the earrings. To add sparkle and to accentuate the small yellow flowers, a faceted “sunflower” yellow Swarovski crystals was added to each earwire. Lavender Pink Boho Hoop Earrings, Enamel Flowers Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "You Look Mauvelous" handmade earrings feature artisan cut out hoops and freshwater peacock pearls - unique boho jewelry for women.

Definitely for the woman who loves unique boho jewelry, the YOU LOOK MAUVELOUS handmade earrings are fun and flirty to wear, marvelous indeed!  The one of a kind, lightweight to wear beauties feature artisan enamel gogo hoops with circular cut out and a floral design and dot design. Large glowing peacock pearls are found above. Individually artisan made, the hoops started out as copper blanks with a cut out circle placed closer to the top of the hoops. Mauve-y lavender and pink enamel glass powder was fused onto the front of the hoops using a butane torch. A stencil and white glass powder was used to create five flower petals along the bottom of the cut out and a dot design at the top. Because the cut out hoops were individually hand enameled, they are very similar but also a bit different. The back of the hoops are finished with black enamel. A gorgeous freshwater peacock pearl is found above each enameled floral hoop. The pearls are a larger size and a scrumptious color to perfectly complement the colors of the hoops. As you can see in the photos, the pearls have a blue-gray body tone. What makes them a “peacock” pearl is their amazing radiance with a purple, pink and blue overtones, sometimes color shifting depending on the angle of the light. They are not perfectly round but more of a slight oval shape. A single copper disc spacer caps the top and bottom of each pearl. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the YOU LOOK MAUVELOUS earrings were created for the woman who has a tendency to wear uber-fun, one of a kind, artisan jewelry.

The lavender and pink enameled cut out gogo hoops were individually artisan enameled with a flower petal and dot design.

If you are searching for a stylish pair of handmade earrings that are also very eye catching, the one of a kind PINK WAVES beauties are for you! Created from gorgeous Czech glass coins and mega-sparkle Swarovski crystals, they are a perfect Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day gift to be worn all year long. The Czech glass coins used as the focals are absolutely stunning. These particular beads are a coin shape created with a combination of clear and pink glass and a dimpled, textured edge. The pink glass is in a flowing, wave-like design with many hues, from light pink to dark pink. The clear glass accentuates the pink waves perfectly. Then, as if the Czech beads needed more beauty, an earthy brown Picasso finish was applied to the beads. It was then polished off the flat faces of the coins but left in the crevasses of the textured crust edges. Since the glass beads were made in very small batches, they are similar but not exactly the same - even the fronts and backs are a bit different - as you can see in the photos.  To add maximum sparkle to the earrings and perfectly complement the Czech coins, two colors and sizes of faceted Swarovski crystals bicones were used. The larger 6 mm Swarovski crystal is a color called “light Colorado topaz,” a warm, light brown shade. Stacked above, separated by a small copper bead, is a 4 mm crystal in a color called “rose,” a perfect shade of medium pink. Tree of Life Sun Spiral Necklace, Rose Quartz Rustic Handmade Jewelry

The unique "Arburu de Vita" handmade necklace features a handmade Tree of Life pendant and faceted rose quartz nuggets - symbolic jewelry for women.

Stunning with its artisan handmade, hand painted tree of life pendant and faceted pink rose quartz nugget gemstones, the one of a kind ARBURU DE VITA necklace is a beauty you’ll want to wear over and over again. The eye catching necklace features a rustic pendant created from off-white polymer clay. Borrowing on an ancient symbol found through the history of mankind, a Tree of Life design with leaves and a spiral shaped root is raised against the background. Added above the tree is a hand formed rayed sun. Hand painted in rich colors of aqua turquoise, pink, lavender, purple and bits of brown, the colors settled into the recessed areas and the “cracks.” To add a rustic vibe, the Tree of Life pendant was lightly sanded with fine grit sandpaper on the tree and around the edges to let bits of the off-white base clay to show through. The back is also painted. To perfectly complement the Tree of Life pendant, faceted rose quartz nuggets were used. The colors shade from a pale pastel pink to a medium pink; some nuggets are translucent while some nuggets are opaque. For the most part, the nuggets are longer than wider, and, since they were hand cut, each nugget is different, adding wonderful texture to the necklace. Because the rose quartz nuggets are faceted, unexpected sparkle is added at each movement when the necklace is worn. So the necklace drapes beautifully when worn, each nugget is separated from its neighbor by a small sterling silver bead adding bits of silver glow. A sleek sterling silver toggle clasp set finishes the design. *** What is dichroic glass? Dichroic glass (pronounced dye-crow-ick) is a type of glass that has amazing multi-colored, reflective properties, especially when viewed at different angles. Extreme color shifts can often be seen. NASA originally developed dichroic glass for use in satellite mirrors and it was also used on re-entry tiles of the Space Shuttles. Sheets of glass have a special coating applied to it that involves vaporizing various metal oxides into a fine dust with an electro-gun. The oxide dust settles on and coats hot glass inside an airless vacuum chamber. Needless to say, because of of the complex, expensive procedure, only a handful of companies produce dichroic glass for artists to use for their designs.

Pastel Flower Hoop Earrings, Vintage Victorian Handmade Jewelry Gift

The lovely "Victorian Whimsy" dangle earrings feature artisan made copper floral hoops, Swarovski crystals and copper - unique flower jewelry for women.

Looking as if they were much beloved floral jewelry from the Victorian era, the VICTORIAN WHIMSY handmade earrings truly radiate an enchanting vintage charm. The one of a kind beauties feature artisan created pastel pink flowers on minty green copper hoops and two shades of sparkling pink Swarovski crystals. Individually artisan made, the whimsical aged flower images were permanently transferred to a length of copper sheeting and then folded into a hoop, the edges carefully filed and sanded for smoothness. The intricate floral design has old Victorian vibes with various shades of “faded” pink flowers against a pale mint green background. The flower image runs the full length of the hoop, front to back.  The inside of the folded hoops is shiny copper, a perfect complement to the mint green and provides a vibrant glow. Since each hoop was individually made, they are very similar in design but not exactly the same.  To highlight the pink flowers of the earring design, two shades of pink Swarovski crystal faceted bicones were stacked above the flower hoops. Burgundy Opaline Pink Swarovski Pearl Bracelet, Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "Luminous" handmade bracelet features two colors of glowing Swarovski crystal pearls and sterling silver - elegant jewelry for women.

The LUMINOUS handmade bracelet is definitely filled with an understated elegance and eye-catching radiance, jewelry that you will want to wear over and over again, perhaps stacked with other bracelets.  The gorgeous, one of a kind bracelet was created with two colors of Swarovski crystal pearls (an imitation pearl) and sterling silver in a slightly asymmetrical design. What are Swarovski pearls? To start out with, they have a real Swarovski crystal center (rather than a plastic bead center as in most faux pearls). A signature, natural-looking pearl coating is applied layer by layer, even and thick, to mimic the nacre of real pearls. Swarovski pearls have a realistic weight and, when worn, will warm to your skin like natural pearls. They also are more resistant to perspiration, sun, perfume and scratches than real pearls.

The colors of the pearls are burgundy purple and rosaline pink - a gorgeous color combination.

Blue Lampwork Earrings, Swarovski Crystals Sterling Handmade Jewelry

The "Bewitching Blues" handmade earrings feature artisan created sparkling blue speckled lampwork glass beads, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver - unique jewelry for women.

The BEWITCHING BLUES handmade dangle earrings are so very well named! Sweet in design and petite in size, the one of a kind, handmade jewelry beauties were created with speckled blue lampwork glass beads, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. The lampwork glass beads were individually artisan handmade with a base of white glass. While that glass was still molten, a glass frit with shades of blue was added, creating speckles of blue. What is absolutely bewitching is that there are also fine speckles of sparkle scattered throughout the glass (which unfortunately don’t show up in the photos besides as tiny dots of a much paler blue). But, believe me, the sparkle is there! The finish of the glass is high shine. Capping the top and bottom of each lampwork bead, adding lovely silver glow, are unique sterling silver spacers in the shape of triangles. They add wonderful visual texture to the earrings.  More sparkle was added with the inclusion of faceted Swarovski crystals into the design of the earrings. The eye-catching color is a rich blue called “dark sapphire,” a perfect complement to the blue lampwork beads. To finish the earrings, sterling silver French hook earwires with dark sapphire Swarovski crystals (for even more glitter!) were used. The charms were individually hand cut, filed and sanded from modern copper with permanent metal transfer.   The image is a profusion of detailed blooming cherry blossoms, shading from pale pink to darker pink, highlighted against a gorgeous blue sky. A tree branch also can be seen peeking through the flowers. The dangles are mirror images of each other, and, since they were individually handmade, there are slight differences which add wonderful rustic, antique vibes. The backside of the dangles are shiny copper.  To perfectly complement the cherry blossoms, faceted Czech glass roller beads and faceted opal beige Czech glass beads were stacked above the charms. The roller beads are breathtaking in their beauty, composed of a copper metallic center surrounded by clear and various shades of pink glass. When the earrings are worn, the roller beads absolutely glow. Above the roller beads, separated by a copper rope spacer, is a translucent opal beige Czech bead with a Picasso finish of brown speckles. Since both the glass beads are faceted, they lend subtle sparkle to the earrings. Pink Flowers Enamel Earrings, White Blue Handmade Bold Dangle Jewelry

The "Flirting with Flowers" earrings feature artisan made pink flower enamel dangles, pink Czech glass discs and teal czech glass - floral jewelry for women.

Long and dangly, the exquisite FLIRTING WITH FLOWERS handmade earrings are perfect for the woman who loves beautiful flower statement jewelry for spring and summer wear! The one of a kind earrings feature enameled pink flower dangles and pink and teal Czech glass beads. Using a high temperature butane torch, the unique dangles were individually hand enameled with a base of white enamel glass powder and a stencil with more enamel glass powder to form the design.  Two large pink flowers, green leaves, one small blue flower and one small teal flower were carefully created, along with some pink dots. The charms are basically mirror images of each other. The backs of the charms are finished in black enamel. Despite the larger size of the earrings, they are lightweight to wear.  Since the charms are the main focal of the earrings, simple translucent pink Czech glass disks with a spotted silver Picasso finish and faceted teal beads were used to perfectly complement the colors of the flowers. Since these beads are faceted, they supply subtle sparkle to the design. A single teal bead was added to the sterling silver French hooks for added beauty. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the long FLIRTING WITH FLOWERS dangle earrings are perfect jewelry accessories to dress up cool summer attire.
