Jewelry filled with vivid boho vibes, the colorful SWEET TWEETS handmade earrings will positively cheer you up every time you put the beauties on! Perfect for a woman who loves birds / is a birder, the lightweight, one of a kind earrings feature artisan made enameled charms, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. The colorful bird charms were individually handmade, starting out as copper blanks in a half moon shape. White enamel glass powder was fused onto the blanks using a high temperature butane torch. Looking like dabs of watercolor, more glass powder was fused to the white background: red, orange, yellow, light green, blue and violet. Then, using a pattern, four black bird silhouettes sitting on a wire were added. Two birds are sitting and two are standing on the wire. As you can see in the photos, the bird design is a mirror image. The backside of each bird charm was fused with black glass powders for a professional finish. To give the colorful bird earrings great movement and sparkle at each turn of the head, thirteen links of a patterned sterling silver chain were used on each charm, connected to them with two sterling silver jump rings on each end for durability. Wire wrapped to the middle link of each chain is a mega-glitter faceted Swarovski crystal bicone. The color is called “peridot,” a soft, peaceful light green color, a perfect complement to the colors on the charms. A pair of sterling silver French hook earwires with an additional peridot green crystal on each adds even more glitter, finishing the unique earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the one of a kind SWEET TWEETS earrings were created for the woman who adores colorful artisan boho jewelry and loves our fine feathered bird friends.

Sea Turtle Beach Earrings, Enamel Lampwork Swarovski Handmade Jewelry

Wonderful handmade jewelry for the woman who loves sea turtles, the one of a kind TORTUGAS earrings are perfect for that beach getaway . . . or to wear at home. The unique earrings are created with artisan enamel turtle charms, artisan aqua blue lampwork beads, Swarovski crystals, copper and sterling silver. The eye catching sea turtle dangles were individually made from artisan shiny white enamel copper squares.  Permanent decals with sea turtle designs were applied while the glass was still molten. The whimsical sea turtles have a hand painted watercolor look to them. One looks as if it's coming to the surface of the ocean and one looks as if it’s diving deeper. As you can see in the photos, the details of the turtles are exquisite and are perfectly highlighted against a pale blue and white “bubble” background. The back of each dangle is finished with speckled dark blue enameled glass for strength and durability.  To perfectly complement ocean colors of the sea turtle charms, speckled aqua lampwork glass beads and faceted Swarovski crystal bicones were stacked above, colors that represent the oceans.  The lampwork beads, each individually artisan made, were created from white glass with a added to give a speckled effect, mainly aqua blue but there are also bits of purple and pale green. A copper flower spacer caps the top and bottom of each lampwork bead. Above each lampwork bead sits a sparkling Swarovski crystal in a rich tourmaline blue color called “indicolite.” Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the TORTUGAS handmade earrings are a perfect gift for the woman who loves turtles, loves the beach and loves wearing artisan handmade jewelry. “Tortugas” is Spanish for “turtles.”

Heartline Bear Earrings, Spiny Oyster Shell Turquoise Handmade Jewelry

The meaningful "Life Force" earrings feature artisan enamel heartline bears, Czech glass roller beads, spiny oyster shell and turquoise - unique jewelry for women.

Depicted as a line in the shape of an arrow, a heartline is extremely symbolic for the Zuni and many other Native American people. It represents the spiritual breath as the life force of an animal and is often portrayed on a bear due to their strength and fearlessness. The one of a kind LIFE FORCE earrings were inspired by a heartline bear. Created with eye-catching enameled bear charms, the meaningful earrings also feature white and gold Czech glass beads, orange spiny oyster shell, and genuine turquoise rounds. The mirror image heartline bears were individually artisan made from a copper base that was enameled with glass powders in oranges, white, turquoise and black. A black heartline arrow runs from the bear’s head to the back. As an added adornment, an Italian murrine glass cane was used to create an orange and white petaled flower in the center of each bear. The backside of the bear charms are finished with black enamel. To perfectly complement the colors of the heartline bears, three different elements were stacked above each bear. The first are premium faceted Czech glass roller beads created from translucent and opaque white glass. Above each roller bead, separated by a copper disc spacer, sits a single hand cut orange spiny oyster shell rondelle. Spiny oyster shell has been used to adorn Native American jewelry for centuries. A genuine turquoise round is found above the oyster shell, a gemstone that is sacred to many tribes. The turquoise beads are a rich blue color with a natural black matrix. Hare Rabbit Earrings, Spirals Moonstone Crystals Handmade Jewelry Gift

The eye catching rabbit dangles were individually artisan made glass enameled copper.   A permanent decal with a leaping hare or rabbit design was applied while the glass was still molten. The whimsical long eared hares are grey with light brown highlights. Their long legs show that they are leaping along as they’re going about their business, perhaps celebrating the warmer weather. Hand painted spirals and dots also grace the lovely design. The back of each dangle is also enameled with speckled dark blue glass for strength and durability. Since the rabbit charms are individually artisan handmade, they are very similar in design but not exactly the same.  Since the leaping hares remind me of the Moon Rabbit, a Far Eastern mythical figure that lives on the moon often as a companion to the moon goddess, Chang’e, gorgeous moonstone gemstones and sparkling Swarovski crystals were stacked above the charms. Used in jewelry for many millennia (the Romans believed moonstone was solidified rays of the moon), moonstone is famous for its mesmerizing opalescent play of light, often flashing pearly blue when the light hits it just right. Unfortunately, the photos don’t do justice to the breathtaking flashes, but they definitely are there, much brighter than is shown. Two hand cut moonstone heishe are used, separated by copper disc spacers. To represent the stars, a single faceted Swarovski crystal bicone was placed above the moonstone. The clear crystals have an iridescent coating called “aurora borealis” (AB) which, when the light hits them right, produces an explosion of dazzling rainbow colors in blues, pinks, and yellows.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the JUMP FOR JOY earrings are a perfect gift for the woman who loves whimsical rabbit earrings celebrating the joy of spring.

Millefiori Flowers Disc Earrings, Enamel Pink Blue Handmade Jewelry

The "Bellissimi Fiori" handmade earrings feature artisan millefiori enamel discs, artisan lampwork glass beads, Swarovski crystals and Czech beads - unique jewelry for women.

Sweet millefiori flower jewelry for spring and summer wear, the one of a kind BELLISSIMI FIORI handmade earrings are a perfect Easter or Mother’s Day gift for the woman who loves flowers. The dangle earrings feature artisan millefiori enamel discs, artisan pink lampwork glass beads, blue Swarovski crystals and pink Czech glass beads. The beautiful discs were artisan hand cut and filed from copper and hammered to create a concave dome shape. The domes were given a pink enamel glass background, shading from a light pink to a darker pink. To create the floral pattern, tiny multi-colored millefiori glass beads in mainly shades of blue, aqua and lavender were randomly added and melted with a high heat torch. Millefiori, a glass technique originally developed in Italy, is Italian for “thousands of flowers.” As you can see in the photos, each disc has a different millefiori flower design, beautiful against the pink background. The back of the discs are also enameled with pink and lavender.  To perfectly complement the enamel flower discs, three different types of beads were used. Just above each disc is a rich pink lampwork glass beads. The shape is a somewhat smashed flying saucer shape that has ridges on the top and bottom. Since the lampwork beads are translucent, they absolutely glow when the earrings are worn. Just above each lampie, separated by a small sterling silver daisy spacer, is a faceted Swarovski crystal bicone in a regal dark blue color called “indigo.”  Separated from each crystal by a small sterling disc spacer is silky, matte finish pale pink Czech glass bead that also glows in the light.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the BELLISSIMI FIORI earrings are perfect for the woman who loves to flower garden, owns a flower shop or just just loves the soothing beauty of flowers. “Bellissimi fiori” is Italian for “beautiful flowers.”

Lavender Pink Boho Hoop Earrings, Enamel Flowers Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "You Look Mauvelous" handmade earrings feature artisan cut out hoops and freshwater peacock pearls - unique boho jewelry for women.

Definitely for the woman who loves unique boho jewelry, the YOU LOOK MAUVELOUS handmade earrings are fun and flirty to wear, marvelous indeed!  The one of a kind, lightweight to wear beauties feature artisan enamel gogo hoops with circular cut out and a floral design and dot design. Large glowing peacock pearls are found above. Individually artisan made, the hoops started out as copper blanks with a cut out circle placed closer to the top of the hoops. Mauve-y lavender and pink enamel glass powder was fused onto the front of the hoops using a butane torch. A stencil and white glass powder was used to create five flower petals along the bottom of the cut out and a dot design at the top. Because the cut out hoops were individually hand enameled, they are very similar but also a bit different. The back of the hoops are finished with black enamel. A gorgeous freshwater peacock pearl is found above each enameled floral hoop. The pearls are a larger size and a scrumptious color to perfectly complement the colors of the hoops. As you can see in the photos, the pearls have a blue-gray body tone. What makes them a “peacock” pearl is their amazing radiance with a purple, pink and blue overtones, sometimes color shifting depending on the angle of the light. They are not perfectly round but more of a slight oval shape. A single copper disc spacer caps the top and bottom of each pearl. Blue Spike Dagger Boho Earrings Enamel Red Coral Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "Bellisimo in Blu" handmade earrings were created from artisan enamel spikes, artisan lampwork glass beads and red coral - boho jewelry gif for women.

If you love fabulously fun blue earrings in a boho spike or dagger design, then you’ll love the BELLISSIMO IN BLU handmade earrings. The exquisite, one of a kind earrings were created with artisan enamel dangles, artisan speckled blue lampwork glass beads and red coral. The gorgeously unique enameled dagger dangles were individually made from copper spikes. To create the background, shiny enamel glass powders in a rich blue color were fused onto the copper with a hot torch. Small bits of white glass powder were added to the lower part of the spikes to create falling "snow" or maybe flower petals. An Italian murrine glass cane was used to create the flower in the center top of each spike surrounded by lighter blue glass. To add extra eye appeal and texture, four raised red glass dots encircle the top of the murrine flowers. Since the dangles were individually handmade, they are very similar in design but not exactly the same. The back of the discs are enameled in black for a professional finish. Please note: since the enamel design was created with high shine enamel glass, there is quite a bit of reflection in the photos. Rest assured - the dangles are mainly a lovely blue with wonderful accents.  To perfectly complement the colors of the enamel daggers, artisan lampwork glass beads and red coral were used. The lampwork glass beads were individually artisan handmade with a base of clear glass. While that glass was still molten, a glass frit with shades of blue was added, creating blue speckles. Since the base glass is clear, the lampwork beads positively glow a radiant blue when the earrings are worn. To highlight the raised red glass dots on the spikes, red coral nuggets were added on top of the lampwork beads, separated by two sterling silver daisy spacers. Another sterling spacer and a small sterling bead rest on top of each coral nugget. Small red coral rounds were added to the sterling silver French hook earwires for extra fun. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the one of kind BELLISSIMO IN BLU earrings were created for the woman who adores unique spike jewelry with a definite boho flair!  "Bellisimo in blu" is Italian for "beautiful in blue."

Sugar Skulls Earrings, Day of the Dead Halloween Enamel Pearls Jewelry

The "Calaveras de Colores" handmade earrings feature artisan enamel sugar skull dangles, teal freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals - Day of the Dead jewelry for women.

Since the CALAVERAS DE COLORES sugar skull earrings are so colorful, you just have to smile every time you look at them! Perfect jewelry for Day of the Dead or Halloween, the one of a kind earrings feature individually artisan handmade enamel sugar skull charms with teal pearls and pink Swarovski crystals. The unique cut out Dia de los Muertos skull dangles started out as copper blanks. Shiny white enamel glass powder was fused onto the front with a butane torch.  A stencil and more enamel glass powder was used to form the colorful design.  As you can see the colors are gorgeous: teal green around the eyes, pink flowers on the forehead, under the eyes and on the chin and a yellow starburst just above each eye. The upper lip of the skulls has seven vertical lines. Because the sugar skulls were individually hand enameled, they are very similar but not exactly the same, as the photos will show. The back of the charms are finished in black enamel. Despite the larger size of these earrings, the unique flower earrings are lightweight to wear.  Because the sugar skull charms are the main focal of the earrings, simple embellishments were used. Just above each skull is a rich, glowing teal green freshwater potato pearl (“potato” meaning they aren’t perfectly round) capped by copper disc spacers. Depending on the angle of the light, the color of the pearls will shift to a more blue teal. To add sparkle, a faceted Swarovski crystal bicone in a color called “light rose” pink tops the earrings.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the CALAVERAS DE COLORES lightweight dangle earrings are perfect jewelry accessories to add to your Halloween and Day of the Dead costume and festivities. These uniquely colorful beauties were created with individually artisan handmade enamel heart charms. Pink Czech glass roller beads and glittering Swarovski crystals highlight the fun. Starting out as copper blanks, the hearts were carefully layered with enamel glass powder and fused onto the copper with a high temperature butane torch. The base is shiny white enamel with tiny black dots. Circles and dots in pink, green, blue, red and yellow outlined in black are scattered over the hearts. To add even more fun, the hearts are similar but also very different in design. The back of the hearts are finished in shiny black enamel.  To perfectly complement the enamel heart dangles, premium pink Czech glass roller beads and sparkling Swarovski crystals were used. The faceted roller beads were created from a combination of various shades of pink and clear glass around a metallic copper center. Because of the metallic finish in the center, the roller beads positively glow!  And talking about sparkle, a single Swarovski crystal was nestled into the top of the roller beads. The unique "Bonheur" earrings feature artisan handmade spotted enamel dangles, Swarovski pearls, Czech glass and Swarovski crystals - fun jewelry for women.

Filled with a wondrous rustic beauty, the BONHEUR earrings will quickly become a handmade jewelry favorite. The one of a kind earrings feature two-sided artisan enamel dangles, purple Swarovski crystal pearls, Czech glass and Swarovski crystals. The eye catching, individually made dangles started out as copper squares which were torch enameled at high heat with white. While the white glass enamel was still hot, a glass frit of mostly purples and pinks but also with specks of brown was added to create random spotted designs on all sides. Because of the frit, the enameled dangles have an incredible raised texture which catches the light when the earrings are worn. The top bit of each square was torched black but left un-enameled for rustic beauty, a trademark of the artist who made them. Please note: because the enamel is high gloss, it was impossible to keep some glare off of the pieces when taking photos. “Bonheur” is French for “happiness.”  To perfectly complement the enamel dangles, a glowing Swarovski crystal pearl in a rich medium purple was used with a sheen that  is exquisite. A small sterling silver daisy spacers separates the crystal pearls from a milky translucent violet opal Czech glass bead and a "smoked topaz" Swarovski crystal bicone.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the unique BONHEUR earrings are a unique gift for the woman who adores one of a kind artisan jewelry.

Red Roses White Hearts Earrings, Valentines Day Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "Romance" handmade earrings feature artisan created enamel hearts and roses charms and faceted red coral - unique Valentine's Day jewelry for women.

The exquisite ROMANCE earrings have everything it takes to make these a special handmade gift of jewelry for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or a birthday!  White enamel hearts with words and a single red rose on each are complemented with faceted red coral. The hearts, which are artisan handmade, started out as copper blanks. Shiny white enamel glass powder was fused onto the front of copper hearts then a stencil and brown enamel glass was used to create the lines of words (French? Latin?). A rich red rose with green leaves and stems were then free hand fused on top. Since the roses were created free hand, you can see that they are very similar but not exactly the same. The back of the charms are enameled in black. Despite their larger size, the one of a kind hearts and roses earrings are lightweight to wear.  Since the heart charms are the main focal of the earrings, simple red coral rounds were stacked above the hearts, capped on the top and bottom with copper bicone beads to add lovely texture and glow. The red coral is faceted and adds subtle sparkle to the earrings with each movement of the head when worn.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the ROMANCE earrings were created for the woman who adores wearing one of a kind artisan jewelry with a romantic vibe.
