Boho Birds Earrings, Colorful Enamel Peridot Crystals Handmade Jewelry

Jewelry filled with vivid boho vibes, the colorful SWEET TWEETS handmade earrings will positively cheer you up every time you put the beauties on! Perfect for a woman who loves birds / is a birder, the lightweight, one of a kind earrings feature artisan made enameled charms, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. The colorful bird charms were individually handmade, starting out as copper blanks in a half moon shape. White enamel glass powder was fused onto the blanks using a high temperature butane torch. Looking like dabs of watercolor, more glass powder was fused to the white background: red, orange, yellow, light green, blue and violet. Then, using a pattern, four black bird silhouettes sitting on a wire were added. Two birds are sitting and two are standing on the wire. As you can see in the photos, the bird design is a mirror image. The backside of each bird charm was fused with black glass powders for a professional finish. To give the colorful bird earrings great movement and sparkle at each turn of the head, thirteen links of a patterned sterling silver chain were used on each charm, connected to them with two sterling silver jump rings on each end for durability. Wire wrapped to the middle link of each chain is a mega-glitter faceted Swarovski crystal bicone. The color is called “peridot,” a soft, peaceful light green color, a perfect complement to the colors on the charms. A pair of sterling silver French hook earwires with an additional peridot green crystal on each adds even more glitter, finishing the unique earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the one of a kind SWEET TWEETS earrings were created for the woman who adores colorful artisan boho jewelry and loves our fine feathered bird friends.

The bird charms were individually artisan hand, fused enamel glass powder on a copper half moon blank.

The fun "Peeps" handmade earrings feature Czech glass bird coins, copper bicones and sterling earwires - bird lover jewelry for women.

Unique for the woman who likes small but fun, eye-catching jewelry, the PEEPS handmade earrings are a perfect gift for the birder in your life or for the woman who just loves the beauty of birds, especially sandpipers, also called peeps. The one of a kind earrings feature Czech glass coin shaped beads with an imprinted bird, copper bicones and sterling silver earwires. The sweet coins were created in the Czech Republic from ivory glass that is slightly translucent. A walking bird design, somewhat reminiscent of sandpipers (peeps) as they scurry along the beach, was pressed into both sides of the coins. Then, to bring out the details of the peeps and to add a rustic look, the beads were covered with a metallic bronze Picasso finish. They were then polished, leaving the bronze finish in the recessed areas and other tiny crannies. As you can see in the photos, the birds on both sides are very similar but also different. Since the bird beads are two-sided, they look fabulous from any angle.  A simple design was chosen to compliment the sandpiper bird coins. Three copper bicones were stacked above the coins while a single copper bicone is found below. The elements for each earrings was wire wrapped with a copper head pin and then connected to sterling silver French hook earwires. A copper bicone was added to each earwire for added beauty. Looking for fun handmade jewelry for the woman who loves birds and / or is a birder? These one of a kind BIRDS OF A FEATHER earrings are perfect, guaranteed to make the recipient smile! Created with sweet copper bird charm dangles, unique Czech glass beads, copper and sterling silver, they will quickly become favorites for the bird lover on your gift list. The delightful bird dangles look as if they are vintage jewelry pieces, but they are “faux vintage,” made to look well-worn and well-loved. The charms were created from modern copper: individually hand cut into a round shape, filed for silky smooth edges and sanded. A permanent metal transfer was applied and then the charms were sealed for years of wearing pleasure. The image on both charms is a colorful bird against an “antiqued” white background. The colorful dotted birds have a medium blue breast, stomach and tale, wings that shade from a pale to dark brown and a pale blue head. Both birds are facing the same way, to the left. Since the bird charms were individually handmade, there are slight differences which add wonderful rustic, antique vibes. The backside of the dangles are shiny copper. These earrings are VERY lightweight to wear.  

To perfectly highlight the charms, especially the color of the wings of the birds, translucent golden amber brown Czech glass beads hang above the dangles. The beads are an unusual shape, like a slightly smashed oval with a hole in a concave center. To give an aged look, a permanent Picasso finish was applied with a darker amber color and pale mossy lichen green. Because the beads are translucent, they positively glow when worn. The Czech beads are connected to bird charms by a heavy duty copper jump ring. They are rustically wire wrapped with copper wire to attach to sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents. The BIRDS OF A FEATHER handmade earrings are a perfect jewelry gift idea for the woman who is a birder or just loves birds! The fun, one of a kind earrings feature vintage tea tin charms with a whimsical nuthatch design. To simply and perfectly complement the birds, three Swarovski crystals hang in a cluster below the dangles. The whimsical bird on the charms is a nuthatch, perhaps a pygmy nuthatch, in a pose that is so evocative of the tiny bird as it creeps up and down a tree searching for insects. The art work has a watercolor feel, with the bird’s black head, gray back and peachy underside. A single green leaf is found with a misty, swirling background. The unique upcycled nuthatch charms were individually hand cut from a vintage tea tin, the edges ground to a silky smooth finish. The backside of each charm is a matte gold.
