Long and dangly, the one of a kind earrings feature Gustav Klimt inspired red poppy garden polymer clay dangles and amber resin Tibetan beads. The amazing Klimt influenced dangles were individually artisan made from black polymer clay. The multicolored poppy design was drawn freehand into the clay, shimmering acrylic pigments were hand painted in layers for depth and two layers of a crystal protectant were added for many years of wearing enjoyment. The unique hand painted design is filled with vibrant orange red poppies with sweeping swirls in complementing aqua blue, orange, copper and gold pigments.  A black “frame” enhances the flowers. The back side is finished in mixed metallic pigments with the artist’s mark. As you can see, the dangles are different but similar in design. Since the dangles are made from polymer clay, the earrings are very lightweight to wear.  Stacked above the red poppy dangles, perfectly highlighting them, are Tibetan resin beads and glowing orange Czech glass beads. Handmade by artisans in Nepal in the traditional manner of mixing resin with amber dust, the vintage-look Tibetan beads are a rich honey amber color that are somewhat translucent. Adding even more eye interest, the resin beads are inlaid around the middle with dotted brass wire. The one of a kind, individually artisan created enamel dangles bring a beautiful bouquet of flowers to life! Medium blue glass powder, permanently fused at high heat onto cut out copper rectangles, was used to create the washed background. The eye catching glass flowers are in shades of peachy pink, yellow, turquoise blue and purple with red centers and green leaves and stems. Each was painstakingly applied bit by bit by hand, creating a dazzling raised design with a wonderful three-dimensional texture.  To perfectly complement the flower charms, an artisan made lampwork glass bead was placed above the dangles. The lampwork beads were created from opaque periwinkle blue glass with frit dots in shades of burgundy, yellow and aqua blue, highlighting the colors of the flowers on the dangles. The finish of the lampwork beads is high shine as you can see in the photos. A pewter bead cap with a leaf design and two 3 mm sterling beads cap each glass bead. Sterling silver French hooks finish the earrings. To add sparkle and to accentuate the small yellow flowers, a faceted “sunflower” yellow Swarovski crystals was added to each earwire. Cheerful and colorful with a pair of dancing dragonflies, the DANZA LIBELLULA handmade boho earrings are a perfect gift for the woman who loves the amazing creatures. Lightweight to wear, they feature artisan polymer clay dragonfly teardrops, artisan lampwork glass beads and faceted Czech glass along with lead free pewter bead caps and sterling silver. The dragonfly dangles were created individually from white polymer clay in an upside down teardrop design. The dragonflies are raised against the background for wonderful texture and then were hand colored in joyful shades of bright pinks, sunny yellows, sky blues and leafy greens with some of the white base showing through to highlight the colors. The sides and the smooth backs of the teardrops are yellow. Since the teardrops were individually handmade, they are very similar in design but not exactly the same. To perfectly complement the exquisite dragonfly teardrops and to add translucent glow and subtle sparkle to the overall design, raspberry red lampwork beads and faceted Czech glass were used. The lampwork beads were artisan handmade from clear glass with a raspberry red frit added to give a speckled appearance. Because the glass is translucent, the glow they provide is amazing. A leafy lead free pewter bead cap tops the lampwork bead. Sitting on top of each lampwork bead is a pale yellow Czech glass bead. Since the beads are faceted the sparkles and shine with sunny translucency. Both have the same leaf design bead caps on the top and bottom. Colorful Abstract Art Earrings Polymer Clay Carnelian Handmade Jewelry

 

The colorful "Colores Brilliantes" handmade earrings feature artisan abstract art polymer clay dangles and two shapes of orange carnelian - unique jewelry for women.

Big and bold with a breathtaking palette of vivid abstract art colors, the unique COLORES BRILLIANTES handmade earrings will definitely add a large dose of boho dazzle to your earlobes! The rustic, one of a kind earrings feature very lightweight artisan polymer clay dangles and two shapes and sizes of orange carnelian gemstones. The dangles were individually created from black polymer clay, freehand etched and then hand painted with glistening colors with a metallic sheen. Bold curves and swirls are reminiscent of some of the more colorful art works of Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning and others. Shimmering acrylic pigments in hot orange, gold, bronze, medium purple, turquoise blue and various greens were hand painted onto the dangles. I just wish the photos could show the amazing shimmer these earrings have! For a fun, boho look, the dangles are somewhat similar in design but are also uniquely different, as you can see in the photos. After the final curing of the dangles, several layers of crystal protectant were applied. The back side of each dangle is also painted and is signed by the artist. Since the dangles were created from polymer clay, the earrings are very lightweight to wear.

To perfectly complement the colors of the polymer clay dangles, orange carnelian gemstones were used. Just above the dangles are beautiful orange carnelian hand carved rounds that suggest flowers. The carbed rounds are mainly a rich medium orange but have natural lighter and darker swirls. Just above each carved carnelian flower, separated by two copper disc spacers, is a carnelian disc, also a medium orange with lighter colored swirls. Since both gemstones are translucent, they glow so prettily when the earrings are worn. Sterling silver French hook earwires with a copper bead accent finishes the earrings beautifully. Sugar Skulls Earrings, Day of the Dead Halloween Enamel Pearls Jewelry

The "Calaveras de Colores" handmade earrings feature artisan enamel sugar skull dangles, teal freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals - Day of the Dead jewelry for women.

Since the CALAVERAS DE COLORES sugar skull earrings are so colorful, you just have to smile every time you look at them! Perfect jewelry for Day of the Dead or Halloween, the one of a kind earrings feature individually artisan handmade enamel sugar skull charms with teal pearls and pink Swarovski crystals. The unique cut out Dia de los Muertos skull dangles started out as copper blanks. Shiny white enamel glass powder was fused onto the front with a butane torch.  A stencil and more enamel glass powder was used to form the colorful design.  As you can see the colors are gorgeous: teal green around the eyes, pink flowers on the forehead, under the eyes and on the chin and a yellow starburst just above each eye. The upper lip of the skulls has seven vertical lines. Because the sugar skulls were individually hand enameled, they are very similar but not exactly the same, as the photos will show. The back of the charms are finished in black enamel. Despite the larger size of these earrings, the unique flower earrings are lightweight to wear.  Because the sugar skull charms are the main focal of the earrings, simple embellishments were used. Just above each skull is a rich, glowing teal green freshwater potato pearl (“potato” meaning they aren’t perfectly round) capped by copper disc spacers. Depending on the angle of the light, the color of the pearls will shift to a more blue teal. To add sparkle, a faceted Swarovski crystal bicone in a color called “light rose” pink tops the earrings.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the CALAVERAS DE COLORES lightweight dangle earrings are perfect jewelry accessories to add to your Halloween and Day of the Dead costume and festivities. The one of a kind FRIDA PRECIOSA handmade earrings are so very well named: “”gorgeous Frida” or “precious Frida,” indeed! These enchanting Frida Kahlo earrings are based on a full length self portrait, sometimes called “Between the Curtains,” painted in 1947 and dedicated to her friend Leon Trotsky. In the painting, she wears a long peach and white embroidered skirt, fringed brown shawl and gold jewelry. The Frida dangles are artisan created from high quality, rectangular-shaped black polymer clay with a permanent art transfer. For durability and shine, the dangles were given several coats of varnish. The self portrait has been closely cropped to only show Frida’s beautifull face and a pink flower in her hair. A black border acts like a frame to highlight the art . As you can see in the photos, the dangles are mirror images of each other, but, in the original painting, she is gazing to the right. The backside of the dangles are black and inscribed with the artist’s mark. Since the dangles are made from polymer clay, the earrings are very lightweight to wear. To perfectly complement the Frida Kahlo polymer clay dangles, premium Czech glass roller beads and sparkling Swarovski crystals were used. The roller beads were created from a gorgeous magenta pink and clear glass mix with a silver metallic center. They have a rustic finish to them to add an aged look, and, since they’re translucent, the beads absolutely glow when worn. And with the addition of facets, they also add subtle sparkle. And talking about sparkle, a single faceted Swarovski crystal bicone in a rich, eye catching color called “ruby” red was stacked on top of each roller bead, separated by a sterling silver daisy spacer. Perfect for the woman who doesn’t want “just any” Valentine’s Day jewelry, the CRAZY HEARTS one of a kind earrings are definitely eye-catchers and sure to please! These uniquely colorful beauties were created with individually artisan handmade enamel heart charms. Pink Czech glass roller beads and glittering Swarovski crystals highlight the fun. Starting out as copper blanks, the hearts were carefully layered with enamel glass powder and fused onto the copper with a high temperature butane torch. The base is shiny white enamel with tiny black dots. Circles and dots in pink, green, blue, red and yellow outlined in black are scattered over the hearts. To add even more fun, the hearts are similar but also very different in design. The back of the hearts are finished in shiny black enamel.  To perfectly complement the enamel heart dangles, premium pink Czech glass roller beads and sparkling Swarovski crystals were used. The faceted roller beads were created from a combination of various shades of pink and clear glass around a metallic copper center. Because of the metallic finish in the center, the roller beads positively glow!  And talking about sparkle, a single Swarovski crystal was nestled into the top of the roller beads. The FRIDA ENCANTADA handmade earrings are so very well named: “enchanted Frida,” indeed!  Based on a 1940 self portrait dedicated to one of her doctors and good friend, Dr. Leo Eloesser, the colorful Frida Kahlo dangles are artisan created from high quality, rectangular-shaped black polymer clay with a permanent art transfer.
