Absolutely exquisite in their glowing beauty, the CAPRI handmade earrings will certainly delight the woman who loves one of a kind jewelry with the colorful essence of the Italian island of Capri. The unique, boho beach earrings feature frosted capri blue glass gogo donut beads and faceted Czech glass along with copper and sterling silver. The focal beads are a donut shape called “gogo” since the hole is found in the upper part of the beads instead of in the middle. The beauties were created from translucent capri blue glass with a silky frosted, sea glass finish that, as you can see in the photo, positively glows when worn. Eye catching, indeed!  To perfectly complement the earrings design, a premium Czech glass rondelle was placed above each gogo bead. The gorgeous beads, which also glow when backlit, are a mix of translucent capri blue glass and opaque white glass. A light brown Picasso finish was applied to each end of the Czech beads, perhaps to represent a sandy beach. Since the beads are faceted, they sparkle like glints of sunshine on the water.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the CAPRI earrings were designed for the woman who loves glowing artisan earrings with a boho flair.

The gogo donut beads are made from capri blue glass and have a silky frosted sea glass finish that glows in the light.

As a jewelry maker, over time I accumulate a collection of left over supplies from other projects. In these earrings, I had some short lengths of reddish-brown leather cord and a few wooden beads in natural and tan-brown colors.

The wooden beads' large holes enabled me to string them on the leather cord then form the cord into hoop shapes. The beads move around on the cord, but dangle at the bottom of the hoops when wearing the earrings. The leather cord is crimped at the top with segmented copper pewter cord crimps. The jump rings and ball-post and clutch earrings are copper plated.

These earrings are perfect for someone who likes Bohemian-inspired jewelry or for one who is a hippie at heart.

Lavender Pink Boho Hoop Earrings, Enamel Flowers Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "You Look Mauvelous" handmade earrings feature artisan cut out hoops and freshwater peacock pearls - unique boho jewelry for women.

Definitely for the woman who loves unique boho jewelry, the YOU LOOK MAUVELOUS handmade earrings are fun and flirty to wear, marvelous indeed!  The one of a kind, lightweight to wear beauties feature artisan enamel gogo hoops with circular cut out and a floral design and dot design. Large glowing peacock pearls are found above. Individually artisan made, the hoops started out as copper blanks with a cut out circle placed closer to the top of the hoops. Mauve-y lavender and pink enamel glass powder was fused onto the front of the hoops using a butane torch. A stencil and white glass powder was used to create five flower petals along the bottom of the cut out and a dot design at the top. Because the cut out hoops were individually hand enameled, they are very similar but also a bit different. The back of the hoops are finished with black enamel. A gorgeous freshwater peacock pearl is found above each enameled floral hoop. The pearls are a larger size and a scrumptious color to perfectly complement the colors of the hoops. As you can see in the photos, the pearls have a blue-gray body tone. What makes them a “peacock” pearl is their amazing radiance with a purple, pink and blue overtones, sometimes color shifting depending on the angle of the light. They are not perfectly round but more of a slight oval shape. A single copper disc spacer caps the top and bottom of each pearl. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the YOU LOOK MAUVELOUS earrings were created for the woman who has a tendency to wear uber-fun, one of a kind, artisan jewelry.

The lavender and pink enameled cut out gogo hoops were individually artisan enameled with a flower petal and dot design.

The Singing Beader 

The combination of wood and resin are a newer trend in handmade jewelry components. The lower part of the hoops in these earrings are natural wood and the upper part is a dark red resin. They are lightly varnished. Above the hoops, I teamed a wired section of matte brown glass beads and dark red faceted Czech glass beads. The beads match the hoops remarkably well. I'm glad I looked over my bead stash to find them! 

The Czech beads give the earrings a hint of sparkle that will make them quite noticeable to onlookers. The earrings have sterling silver French style ear wires. Included are rubber clutches for a secure hold.

Despite being made partially of wood, these earrings are super lightweight making them comfortable to wear. They would make a lovely gift, too. Included is a brown organza pouch.

Blue Spike Dagger Boho Earrings Enamel Red Coral Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "Bellisimo in Blu" handmade earrings were created from artisan enamel spikes, artisan lampwork glass beads and red coral - boho jewelry gif for women.

If you love fabulously fun blue earrings in a boho spike or dagger design, then you’ll love the BELLISSIMO IN BLU handmade earrings. The exquisite, one of a kind earrings were created with artisan enamel dangles, artisan speckled blue lampwork glass beads and red coral. The gorgeously unique enameled dagger dangles were individually made from copper spikes. To create the background, shiny enamel glass powders in a rich blue color were fused onto the copper with a hot torch. Small bits of white glass powder were added to the lower part of the spikes to create falling "snow" or maybe flower petals. An Italian murrine glass cane was used to create the flower in the center top of each spike surrounded by lighter blue glass. To add extra eye appeal and texture, four raised red glass dots encircle the top of the murrine flowers. Since the dangles were individually handmade, they are very similar in design but not exactly the same. The back of the discs are enameled in black for a professional finish. Please note: since the enamel design was created with high shine enamel glass, there is quite a bit of reflection in the photos. Rest assured - the dangles are mainly a lovely blue with wonderful accents.  To perfectly complement the colors of the enamel daggers, artisan lampwork glass beads and red coral were used. The lampwork glass beads were individually artisan handmade with a base of clear glass. While that glass was still molten, a glass frit with shades of blue was added, creating blue speckles. Since the base glass is clear, the lampwork beads positively glow a radiant blue when the earrings are worn. To highlight the raised red glass dots on the spikes, red coral nuggets were added on top of the lampwork beads, separated by two sterling silver daisy spacers. Another sterling spacer and a small sterling bead rest on top of each coral nugget. Small red coral rounds were added to the sterling silver French hook earwires for extra fun. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the one of kind BELLISSIMO IN BLU earrings were created for the woman who adores unique spike jewelry with a definite boho flair!  "Bellisimo in blu" is Italian for "beautiful in blue."

Filled with a bounty of fun and flirty boho beauty, the earthy FELCI handmade earrings feature round copper fern chandelier hoops, copper nugget beads and blazing red Czech glass beads. These earrings have very large-sized gunmetal lobster clasps. I came up with the idea after I realized the clasps were too big for necklaces I was making. I decided I would make a pair of bold style, one-of-a-kind earrings. The gunmetal clasps have secure holding gunmetal lever back ear wires. As you can see in the photos, the clasps match the ear wires very well.

Turquoise Boho Gypsy Coin Earrings, Rustic Handmade Jewelry Gift Women

The fun "Boho Love" earrings were created with artisan turquoise patina copper dangles, copper spirals and aqua opal Czech glass beads - unique boho jewelry for women.

Full of fun and funky boho vibes, the well named BOHO LOVE handmade earrings are perfect for the woman who has more than a bit of free-spirited gypsy or hippie in her. The one of a kind earrings, which have a definite aged look, feature artisan turquoise patinated copper half moons, coins, and spirals dangles along with glowing Czech glass rondelles. The rustic boho dangles were created from two shapes. The larger is a half moon, the rounded side at the top and the flat side at the bottom. Three holes were drilled into the bottom of the half moon and coin shaped dangles were attached using copper jump rings. To create the gorgeous turquoise color, Jax green patina liquid was applied to react with the metal. The liquid reacts differently each time used and on each piece, as you can see in the photos: a patina ranging in color from a pale turquoise through amber to a darker green. Because the coins overlap each other, a slight whimsical tinkling sound is made when the earrings move. The backside of the dangles is mostly glowing copper but there is also some patina - see photo # 8. A lovely double copper spiral was carefully formed with copper wire and attached to the top of the half moon.  Above the spirals can be found faceted Czech glass rondelles in a gorgeous aqua opal color. The rondelles positively glow when backlit. A light coating of a copper Picasso finish was applied to the top and bottom of each rondelles for a vintage look. Since the rondelles are faceted, they add subtle sparkle to the design.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the BOHO LOVE earrings are a perfect jewelry gift for the woman who adores artisan earrings and abhors wearing run-of-the-mill jewelry.
