These beautiful NOBLE LOTUS flower earrings are a perfect jewelry gift for the spiritual woman who practices yoga and / or meditates. Lotus blossoms symbolize enlightenment, purity and rebirth in many cultures and religions, so these one of a kind beauties will be ones she’ll reach for time and time again. Czech glass lotus beads are featured in the handmade earrings and are combined with glittering Swarovski crystals, copper and sterling silver. A lovely multi-petal lotus flower design was impressed into minty green and clear glass coin beads. The translucent glass was given a matte finish for a glowing sea glass look. To bring out the beautiful details of the lotus blossom and the rustic small pits and “cracks,” a metallic bronze Picasso finish was applied which settled into the recessed areas.  Since the lotus coin beads are two sided, the yoga earrings look fabulous from any angle.  To add an even more beauty to the elegant earring design, a faceted Swarovski crystal bicone was added to the top of each lotus bead, separated by a small copper disc spacer. The color of the crystals is called “peridot,” a peaceful shade of green evoking the spirit of nature.  All of the components used to make the earrings were strung on handmade (by me) copper headpins with a hand hammered loop at the bottom.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the NOBLE LOTUS blossom will be a much loved gift for the woman who meditates, practices yoga and just loves to wear meaningful, one of a kind jewelry designs!

The lotus blossom coin beads were created in the Czech Republic from minty green and clear glass with a matte sea glass finish and an impressed lotus flower on each side.

Mint Green Kryptonite Earrings, Lampwork Fine Silver Handmade Jewelry

The "Kryptonite" earrings feature artisan mint green lampwork beads and sterling silver - unique jewelry for women.

You don’t have to worry about these earrings . . . even if you are Superman . . . since the mint green KRYPTONITE handmade earrings will energize you each and every time you wear them! The one of a kind earrings are breathtaking in their harmonious use of color and are perfect to wear all spring and summer long. The earrings feature artisan lampwork glass beads in a luscious green color that is actually called “kryptonite” by the glass manufacturer. Each glass bead is wrapped in .999 fine silver, adding a whimsical look of glowing silver dots that add texture and shine. For a velvety matte finish, the lampwork beads were acid etched, giving a tumbled sea glass effect. The earrings are positively eye-catching when worn.

To frame the beads, sterling silver daisy spacers were added to the top and bottom of each lampwork bead. To mimic the fine silver dots on the mint green beads, glowing sterling silver beads in three different sizes were stacked on top. The sizes are, in order from bottom to top: 4 mm, 3 mm and 2 mm. All of the elements used in the earrings were strung on sterling silver headpins, carefully wire wrapped and connected to sterling French hook earwires. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the KRYPTONITE dangle earrings were created for the woman who loves unique artisan jewelry with a knock out color.
 

The lampwork glass beads were individually handmade from glass tat is called kryptonite, a luscious mint green color.

Pastel Flower Hoop Earrings, Vintage Victorian Handmade Jewelry Gift

The lovely "Victorian Whimsy" dangle earrings feature artisan made copper floral hoops, Swarovski crystals and copper - unique flower jewelry for women.

Looking as if they were much beloved floral jewelry from the Victorian era, the VICTORIAN WHIMSY handmade earrings truly radiate an enchanting vintage charm. The one of a kind beauties feature artisan created pastel pink flowers on minty green copper hoops and two shades of sparkling pink Swarovski crystals. Individually artisan made, the whimsical aged flower images were permanently transferred to a length of copper sheeting and then folded into a hoop, the edges carefully filed and sanded for smoothness. The intricate floral design has old Victorian vibes with various shades of “faded” pink flowers against a pale mint green background. The flower image runs the full length of the hoop, front to back.  The inside of the folded hoops is shiny copper, a perfect complement to the mint green and provides a vibrant glow. Since each hoop was individually made, they are very similar in design but not exactly the same.  To highlight the pink flowers of the earring design, two shades of pink Swarovski crystal faceted bicones were stacked above the flower hoops. The darker pink crystal is called “rose” and the upper lighter pink crystal is called “light rose.” Each crystal adds a huge dose of the spectacular sparkle that Swarovski crystals are famous for. Sea Turtle Earrings, Green Tan Terra Cotta Handmade Artisan Jewelry

The "Las Tortugas" dangle earrings feature artisan handmade turtle charms, faceted Czech glass beads and peridot green Swarovski crystals - one of a kind jewelry for women.

Perfect one of a kind jewelry for the woman who loves sea turtles, the LAS TORTUGAS handmade earrings are ocean inspired beauties. Created with artisan made pale minty green and tan sea turtle dangles, the earrings also feature faceted creamy brown Czech glass beads and peridot green Swarovski crystals. The fabulous turtle charms were individually artisan handmade from terra cotta ceramic with a raised sea turtle design against a flat background giving great texture to the dangles. A soft minty green glaze was used for a rustic distressed look - when fired, the glaze settled into recessed areas, leaving some of the raised terra cotta ceramic to peek through.  To highlight the terra cotta areas of the dangles, creamy brown Czech glass rondelles were placed above the turtles. The beads are faceted for subtle sparkle and have a darker brown Picasso finish on the top and bottom for an aged look. A mega-sparkling faceted peridot green Swarovski crystal bicone tops each glass bead.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the LAS TORTUGAS earrings are a great gift for the woman who adores sea turtles and loves to wear one of a kind, artisan jewelry. “Las Tortugas” is Spanish for “the turtles.”

Rustic Wings Boho Earrings, Turquoise Copper Mint Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "Taos Trails" handmade earrings feature artisan made rustic wing dangles and frosted minty green lampwork beads with Czech glass coral discs and teal tri cut beads - boho jewelry for women.

Filled with the rich colors and ancient vibes of the Desert Southwest, the TAOS TRAILS handmade earrings are a perfect jewelry gift for the woman who has an exuberant boho spirit. The richly colored earrings feature rustic wing dangles, artisan frosted minty green lampwork beads and coral and teal Czech glass beads. The two-sided organic wing dangles were individually artisan hand formed (in Taos) from lightweight white stoneware clay. Once they were air dried, they were hand painted with shades of turquoise; copper “stains” were added for an ancient patina feel. The pieces were kiln fired several times for strength and durability. The front has a wing design - maybe based on a dragonfly? The back is a totally different design - maybe based on beetle wings? Whatever inspired them, the dangles have such a wonderfully primitive feel to them. Since they were individually hand formed, you will notice that they are similar in design but not exactly the same, something that makes handmade so enjoyable!

To perfectly complement the lighter turquoise color of the rustic wings, minty green lampwork beads were added above, capped on the top and bottom by shiny copper daisy spacers. The minty lampwork glass beads, also artisan made, were etched for a soft, frosted sea glass look that positively captures and radiates glowing goodness. Stacked above the lampwork beads are two types of Czech glass. The first, to add a pop of unexpected color, are deep coral discs with a shiny silver wash. Next are sparkling teal tri-cut Czech beads with a rustic mossy green Picasso finish, separated from the discs by a copper daisy spacer. The unique earrings are finished with sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the TAOS TRAILS boho earrings were created for the woman who loves one of a kind, artisan earrings that no one else in the world has!
