Czech glass lotus beads are featured in the handmade earrings and are combined with glittering Swarovski crystals, copper and sterling silver. A lovely multi-petal lotus flower design was impressed into minty green and clear glass coin beads. The translucent glass was given a matte finish for a glowing sea glass look. To bring out the beautiful details of the lotus blossom and the rustic small pits and “cracks,” a metallic bronze Picasso finish was applied which settled into the recessed areas.  Since the lotus coin beads are two sided, the yoga earrings look fabulous from any angle.  To add an even more beauty to the elegant earring design, a faceted Swarovski crystal bicone was added to the top of each lotus bead, separated by a small copper disc spacer. The color of the crystals is called “peridot,” a peaceful shade of green evoking the spirit of nature.  All of the components used to make the earrings were strung on handmade (by me) copper headpins with a hand hammered loop at the bottom.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the NOBLE LOTUS blossom will be a much loved gift for the woman who meditates, practices yoga and just loves to wear meaningful, one of a kind jewelry designs!

The FLORES AZULES handmade earrings are a perfect jewelry gift for the woman who adores flowers. Perfect to wear all summer long - or all year long for that matter! - the one of a kind earrings feature blue Czech glass pansy flower beads with red highlights, Czech crystal rondelles and two shapes and shades of red Czech glass rondelles. The two-sided Czech glass flower beads started out as medium sky blue glass poured into the shape of a pansy with a recessed design in the middle. To bring out the gorgeous detailing in the middle and to give a rustic vintage look to the flowers, a Picasso finish in rusty red and moss green was added and then polished off the faces of the beads. The finish settled in the recessed areas and can be found on the sides of the beads, adding extra beauty to the flowers. Since the pansy flower beads are two sided, the earrings look fabulous from any angle. To perfectly complement the flowers and to add fun color and mega sparkle to the overall design, Czech glass crystals and red Czech glass beads were stacked above the pansy beads. Just above each flower is a silver rondelle set with seven Czech crystals in a rich blue color called indicolite (named after rare blue tourmaline). A bright scarlet red Czech glass bead nestles into each crystal rondelle. Since the beads are filled with small facets, they add not-so-subtle sparkle to the earrings. On top of each bright red bead, separated by a small sterling silver daisy spacer, is a dark red opal glass bead. Since these glowing beads are translucent, they look like they are on fire when the earrings are worn.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the FLORES AZULES pansy flower earrings were created for the woman who loves flowers (perhaps a gardener?) and loves to wear one of a kind, artisan jewelry. "Flores azules" is Spanish for "blue flowers."

The beautiful flower earrings were created from medium sky blue glass with a red and mossy green Picasso finish to bring out the floral details.

Pink Flower Earrings, Floral Handmade Polymer Clay Lightweight Jewelry

The "Perfectly Pink" handmade earrings feature artisan made polymer clay flower beads and Swarovski crystals - fun floral jewelry for women.

Looking as if they were freshly picked from an abundant flower garden, the cheerful PERFECTLY PINK handmade earrings are perfect when you need a floral jewelry pick-me-up. The focals of the lightweight earrings are amazing artisan pink flower beads that are perfectly complemented by sparkling pink Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. The pink flower beads were individually handmade from artist grade polymer clay. As you can see, intricate layers of polymer clay were used to create the design: various shades of pink and yellow for the flowers and green for the leaves. White swirls are seen in the paler pink background and the edges also show parts of the flowers and leaves. Since the flower beads are handmade, each side is different as you can see in the photos. Very eye catching! Because the earrings use polymer clay dangles, they are very lightweight to wear. Sterling silver daisy spacers cap the top and bottom of the coin shaped beads.

Perfectly harmonizing the pink flowers are mega sparkle faceted Swarovski crystal bicones in two sizes. The color is called “light rose,” a translucent, delicate shade of pink pink. A 6 mm and 4 mm crystal sits just above the flower beads, separated by small sterling silver beads. All of the elements used to create the earrings were sprung on hand hammered sterling wire and wire wrapped to sterling silver French hook earwires. To add even more sparkle, a 4 mm light rose Swarovski crystal was added to the earwires. Vintage Flower Pendant Amber Necklace, Turquoise Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "Flower and Sunshine" handmade necklace features a vintage brass flower pendant, gorgeous amber and earthy turquoise - unique jewelry gift for her.

The big and bold FLOWER AND SUNSHINE handmade necklace is truly an eye catcher - a special piece of jewelry that seems to capture sunlight. Created with a unique vintage brass flower pendant focal, the one of a kind necklace also includes golden pyramid shaped pressed amber, turquoise and copper. The pendant was made in India out of solid brass and was used for trade in Africa (it was collected in Ghana). In the center of the glowing pendant is an encircled, multi-petaled flower raised against the background. It is surrounded by raised dots, adding wonderful texture to the pendant design. The raised areas are polished while the recessed areas have a darker patina to bring out the lovely details of the pendant. The back of the pendant is smooth and  slightly concave.  

The pressed amber making up the main body of the necklace is real amber, but not natural amber since it was melted and then pressed (reformed) into unique pyramid shaped beads, flat on the bottom and pointed at the top with three sides. Two colors of translucent amber were used: the majority is a glowing golden color but flecks here and there of a dark brown amber were also included. Air bubbles were injected when the amber was still warm; once the amber solidified, the bubbles were trapped. Because of the bubbles, the pressed amber glistens as the light refracts when passing through each piece. There is a constant sparkle as the angle of the light changes, each piece of amber is different with the amount and placement of the air bubbles. To perfectly highlight the amber, genuine turquoise rondelles were placed between each piece of amber. The earthy colors of the turquoise range from a turquoise blue through greens, beiges and dark brown, many rondelles having more than one color. A patterned copper toggle clasp securely fastens the necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the FLOWER AND SUNSHINE necklace will radiate goodness each and every time it is worn and will quickly become a favorite for the woman who is lucky enough to own the beauty.

The "Flirting with Flowers" earrings feature artisan made pink flower enamel dangles, pink Czech glass discs and teal Czech glass - floral jewelry for women.

Long and dangly, the exquisite FLIRTING WITH FLOWERS handmade earrings are perfect for the woman who loves beautiful flower statement jewelry for summer wear! The one of a kind earrings feature enameled pink flower dangles and pink and teal Czech glass beads. Shiny white enamel glass powder was fused onto the front of copper blanks. Then a stencil and more enamel glass powder was used to create the design, using a high temperature butane torch. Two large pink flowers, green leaves, one small blue flower and one small teal flower were carefully created, along with some pink dots. The charms are basically mirror images of each other, but since they were hand enameled, they are not exactly the same.  The back of the charms are finished in black enamel. Despite the larger size of the earrings, the unique flower earrings are lightweight to wear.  Since the charms are the main focal of the earrings, simple pink Czech glass disks with a silvery Picasso finish and faceted teal beads were used to perfectly complement the colors of the flowers.  A single teal bead was added to the sterling silver French hooks for added beauty.
