Lotus Bud Necklace, Vintage Thai Silver Pearls Garnet Handmade Jewelry

The LOTUS BUD handmade necklace features a vintage Thai silver lotus bud amulet, peacock Keshi pearls and red garnet - unique yoga jewelry for women.

Filled with a hefty dose of sublime beauty, the LOTUS BUD handmade necklace is a perfect gift for the woman who practices yoga, meditates or just loves one of a kind jewelry. The meaningful necklace features a vintage Thai silver lotus bud pendant along with rainbow Keshi pearls, red garnet and sterling silver. The beautiful vintage amulet pendant, which is at least 40 years old, was crafted from fine silver by an artisan in Thailand. The raised design is of a lotus bud in an urn along with draping leaves, probably banana leaves. A rope design runs along the edge of the pendant. In Thailand, the lotus is a sacred flower and is a symbol of purity, faithfulness and spiritual awakening.  To perfectly complement the pendant, exquisite Keshi pearls and red garnet were used. Keshi pearls are natural, non-nucleated pearls and are normally found with an irregular shape. The Keshi pearls used in the necklace are absolutely stunning with their glowing peacock coloration of mainly shades of purples, greens, burgundy, and bronzes, often shifting color as the angle of the light changes. Except for the very beginning of the necklace on either side of the lotus bud amulet, the pearls are in groups of three. Between each Keshi pearl grouping is a group of natural garnet heishe in a rich dark red color. The heishe is hand cut so each piece is similar in size but not exactly the same. Small sterling silver beads separate the pearls from the garnet, adding bits of silver sheen to the necklace design. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the one of a kind LOTUS BUD necklace was created for the woman who loves meaningful, artisan designed jewelry.

The meaningful lotus bud pendant was crafted over 40 years ago by a Thai artists from fine silver.

Mint Green Kryptonite Earrings, Lampwork Fine Silver Handmade Jewelry

The "Kryptonite" earrings feature artisan mint green lampwork beads and sterling silver - unique jewelry for women.

You don’t have to worry about these earrings . . . even if you are Superman . . . since the mint green KRYPTONITE handmade earrings will energize you each and every time you wear them! The one of a kind earrings are breathtaking in their harmonious use of color and are perfect to wear all spring and summer long. The earrings feature artisan lampwork glass beads in a luscious green color that is actually called “kryptonite” by the glass manufacturer. Each glass bead is wrapped in .999 fine silver, adding a whimsical look of glowing silver dots that add texture and shine. For a velvety matte finish, the lampwork beads were acid etched, giving a tumbled sea glass effect. The earrings are positively eye-catching when worn.

To frame the beads, sterling silver daisy spacers were added to the top and bottom of each lampwork bead. To mimic the fine silver dots on the mint green beads, glowing sterling silver beads in three different sizes were stacked on top. The sizes are, in order from bottom to top: 4 mm, 3 mm and 2 mm. All of the elements used in the earrings were strung on sterling silver headpins, carefully wire wrapped and connected to sterling French hook earwires. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the KRYPTONITE dangle earrings were created for the woman who loves unique artisan jewelry with a knock out color.
 

The lampwork glass beads were individually handmade from glass tat is called kryptonite, a luscious mint green color.

The beautiful "Blue Skies" handmade earrings feature artisan created sky blue lampwork beads with fine silver and sterling silver.

Your ears will receive a rich jolt of color each and every time you wear these stunningly beautiful blue dangle earrings! Both stylish and classic, the unique BLUE SKIES earrings feature artisan made lampwork beads individually created from shiny transparent sky blue glass. Each glass bead was wrapped around the middle with .999 fine silver, a whimsical look of silver dots that add great texture and sheen. Since each blue lampwork bead was handmade, you can see from the photos that the pattern of fine silver dots are similar but not the same. When worn, the glass sometimes looks lighter or darker depending on the angle of the light - whichever shade of blue is seen, however, the one of a kind earrings positively glow!

The lampwork glass beads were artisan handmade and wrapped with fine silver to 

create random dots around the middle.
