Lifting your spirits anytime you wear them, these calming beauties were created with rustic aqua Czech glass beads, glittering Swarovski crystals, leaf bead caps and sterling silver. Called an English cut, these Czech glass beads are a rounded shape with large diamond-shaped facets cut into the surface for a somewhat irregular, worn look, as if they might have been tumbled in the surf of an idyllic beach. The color is a rich aqua, reminiscent of the waters of the Caribbean. The beads have a metallic silvery finish that causes them to shimmer and reflect other colors beautifully. Since the aqua English cut beads are translucent, they positively glow when worn. To add lovely texture and even more eye appeal, silvery pewter bead caps with a leaf design enhance the top and bottom of the glass beads.  Perfectly complementing the color of the rustic English cut glass beads, two sizes of sparkling Swarovski crystal bicones were stacked above. The color of the faceted crystals is called “indicolite,” a lush blue green color inspired by rare blue tourmaline gemstones.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the CARIBBEAN CALM earrings were created for the woman whose heart is in the Caribbean and who loves to wear unique designer jewelry.

The Tibetan beads were artisan handcrafted 40+ years ago from natural azurite, a fairly rare blue with green gemstone. As you can see in the photos, one bead has some dark matrix while the other doesn’t. Lovely flower shaped bead caps in Tibetan silver cap the top and bottom of each azurite bead.

To perfectly complement the color of the azurite gemstones and to provide maximum sparkle, a 6mm Swarovski crystal sits on top of each Tibetan bead, separated by a sterling silver daisy spacer. The rich color of the brilliant blue green crystal is called “indicolite.” Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the unique earrings.
