Despite being carved from a single piece of jade, the circular center part actually moves! Perfectly highlighting the jade pendant are highly sought after translucent white eye agate nuggets with bands, splotches and "eyes" of black, brown and tan. Pewter hexagon beads and sterling silver beads add a luscious silvery glow. Copper Feather Pendant Mixed Agate Necklace, Earthy Handmade Jewelry

The "Touch of Magic" handmade necklace features an artisan created copper feather pendant and mixed agate gemstones - unique jewelry for women.

With an exquisite feather-inspired copper pendant and mixed agate nuggets, the TOUCH OF MAGIC handmade necklace definitely spreads a magical spell when worn. People won’t be able to keep their eyes off of it! The earthy, one of a kind necklace features an artisan feather pendant that was handcrafted from beginning to end from precious copper metal clay: it was shaped, carved, inscribed and fired in a kiln. The solid copper pendant was then patinated and polished to bring out the incredible detail of the feathers. The feathers are somewhat raised against the background. As you can see, the details of the feather design are amazing, three rows radiating gracefully from the hole at the top of the pendant.  To perfectly mimic the pointed ends of the feather design on the pendant, gorgeous mixed agate graduated nuggets were used. The agate has an interesting cut, a faceted nugget, most with somewhat pointy ends. To add even more interest, ½ of the nuggets drilled long wise while ½ were drilled through the middle. The colors range naturally from very dark brown through rusty reds, mustard yellows, grays and whites, many with more than one color with swirls, spots and wavy lines.  Since the nuggets are faceted, they lend subtle glow to the necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the TOUCH OF MAGIC necklace was created for the woman who adores wearing unique artisan jewelry.

The copper pendant was artisan handmade and was inspired by bird feathers.

Cat Necklace, Orange Kitty Agate Turquoise Handmade Jewelry Gift Women

The "Wise Kitty" handmade necklace features an artisan cat pendant, agate, turquoise and copper - unique jewelry for women.

The one of a kind, artisan created cat pendant used as the focal of the WISE KITTY handmade necklace is such a cheerful representation of a thoughtful-looking, lovable tabby cat you have to smile when you look at it! Two shapes of natural agate gemstones, genuine turquoise heishe and glowing copper all come together to perfectly highlight the unique cat pendant. The rounded, somewhat triangular-shaped pendant is lightweight but durable, created with a base of white polymer clay. A flowing, stylistic cat design was hand carved into the clay which was then painted in cayenne red ochre and turquoise acrylic glazes with several dashes of gold ochre. For a soft sheen, a thin coat of crystal fixative was applied. The back is also painted with the pigments and features the artist’s mark, a raised spiraling “P.” A copper grommet was added at the top for easy connection to the main body of a necklace.

Two shapes of natural agate and beautiful turquoise heishe complement the artisan cat pendant perfectly.

Natural agate and real turquoise complement the kitty cat pendant beautifully. Two shapes of agate is used: a rounded rectangular shape and hand cut cubes. The colors of the agates range from almost clear to deep orange, some translucent and some opaque - often both on the same gemstone. Both have a high gloss finish that catches and reflects the light. Since the agate cubes were hand cut, they are a bit more rustic in feel, not all exactly the same shape and size, although very similar. Rich turquoise heishe separates each grouping of agate, adding pops of lovely blue/green color to the necklace design. Small copper beads separate each gemstone, adding their own gorgeous glow. A copper toggle clasp set finishes the necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the WISE KITTY handmade necklace was created for the woman who adores unique artisan jewelry and adores cats.

Pink Botswana Agate 12mm Round Beads 16 inch Strand

Sweet Mix of Earthy Pink Colors Pink Botswana Agate 12mm Beads, 16 inch strand.  Botswana Agate is a variety of banded Chalcedony, a mineral of the Quartz family. It is predominantly banded in shades of pink and gray, though some layers may contain a muted brown or apricot. These stones were produced by volcanic activity nearly 187 million years. The banding in these stones were produced when lava flowed in waves from long faults along the lower rock layers and rolled across the landscape, depositing layer after layer of silica quartz thus creating the extra fine bands known to Botswana agates.
