The outstanding handmade necklace features a pale, creamy green jade pendant that was hand carved on both sides with a stylized lotus flower seed pod design. Despite being carved from a single piece of jade, the circular center part actually moves! Perfectly highlighting the jade pendant are highly sought after translucent white eye agate nuggets with bands, splotches and "eyes" of black, brown and tan. Pewter hexagon beads and sterling silver beads add a luscious silvery glow. This is such a unique statement necklace! The lotus pod pendant is fantastic, and the banded agate nuggets are so intriguing.
ReplyDeleteJust want to add that I was looking closer at it in your photos, and found a typo for "nuggets" — which appears as nuggest. Rather interesting word in itself. If it doesn't mean anything on its own, it certainly should. :) Treats to Le Moosie from Le Gonze!
