Beautiful in all it’s earthy goodness, the BONTÀ handmade bracelet will quickly become favorite jewelry for your wrist. The eye catching, color block bracelet features gorgeous faceted blue sodalite gemstones and faceted Czech glass beads in creamy brown and bright red. Sodalite, a gemstone that was sacred to many ancient indigenous people in Peru, Bolivia and other countries, is normally varying shades of royal blue with natural white veining. As you can see in the photos, the blue ranges from very dark to a pale light blue. Most of the sodalite stones have various amounts of veining, some just a few streaks while some have large white patches. The sodalite is grouped in two sets of three and one set of five, each gemstone separated by a small sterling silver bead. Since the sodalite is faceted, the gemstones sparkle as the bracelet is moved.  To add an earthy look, brown Czech glass rondelles were added into the mix. The glass is an opaque creamy tan with a Picasso finish of dark toffee brown with bits of greenish blue on the ends. The middle of the beads are faceted for subtle sparkle. There is a grouping of three of these rondelles in addition to a single. To add a pop of bright red color to the bracelet design, scarlet red Czech glass rondelles were scattered through the bracelet: three singles and one set of three. The center of the scarlet red beads are faceted for glitter and the ends have a metallic copper Picasso finish. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the BONTÀ bracelet was created for the woman who loves wearing one of a kind, artisan jewelry. “Bontà” is Italian for “goodness.”

Dog Lover Paw Print Necklace, Red Copper Sodalite Handmade Jewelry

The "My Four Footed Friend" handmade necklace features an artisan red copper dog paw print pendant, blue sodalite gemstones and copper ebads - unique dog lover jewelry for women.

Perfect jewelry for the dog lover, the meaningful, one of a kind MY FOUR FOOTED FRIEND handmade necklace features an artisan red copper paw print pendant, blue sodalite gemstones and copper beads. The unique pendant was cut from copper sheet metal and then textured using a technique called “repousse” (pounding the back of the metal from the reverse to give it form). A lovely raised paw print is found on the front of the square pendant including the four toe pads and the metacarpal pad. The back of the pendant shows the recessed paw print. A raised frame was soldered around the paw print and a round bail was attached at the top. To get the glorious red orange copper color, a patination formula was brushed on and then fired at high what with a torch. So the colors don’t fade and for years of wearing pleasure, the pendant was brushed with a metal lacquer sealant. A thick copper jump ring securely fastens the paw print pendant to the main body of the necklace.  To perfectly complement the colors of the dog paw print pendant, rich blue sodalite rounds were used. Sodalite is a beautiful gemstone that ranges in shades from a midnight blue to a very pale blue, sometimes with white veining. The sodalite used in the necklace is mainly a medium blue with some darker and lighter blue beads, The finish of the gemstones is a medium shine, not high gloss and not matte, but somewhere in-between. Copper bicone beads add a wonderful gleam and break up the sodalite into alternate groups of five stones and three stones. A sleek copper toggle clasp set finishes the paw print necklace. The "Blessed Mother" handmade necklace features a symbolic, two-sided Virgin Mary pewter pendant, blue sodalite gemstones and light blue Swarovski crystals - jewelry for a Catholic woman.

The BLESSED MOTHER handmade necklace, featuring a meaningful two sided Virgin Mary pendant, is a perfect jewelry gift for the woman of Catholic faith. Blue sodalite gemstones and Swarovski crystals were added to highlight the pendant, which was cast from high quality, lead free pewter right here in the U.S.  On one side of the pendant is an intricately detailed Blessed Virgin Mary in front of a budded cross with trailing roses.  The opposite side is inscribed with “Bless This Woman” along with an Our Lady’s Cushion flower. The pendant was heavily oxidized and the polished to bring out the raised detail, the details being shinier than what the photos show.  Because of Mary’s feminine beauty and divine nature, blue (a color long associated with Mary) sodalite gemstone rounds in two sizes were used.  To add sparkle, faceted light sapphire blue Swarovski crystal bicones were added, three on each side.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the BLESSED MOTHER is a special necklace for the woman who adores unique, one of a kind Christian jewelry and has a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin.

• Budded cross: the three “buds” on each end of the cross represent the Holy Trinity
• Roses: known as the “queen of flowers”, roses represent Mary as Queen of Heaven.
• Our Lady’s Cushion: also known the sea-pink (thrift) was said to have formed cushions for Mary to sit on during the flight into Egypt.
• “Bless This Woman”: Mary is believed, through prayers, to intercede for people who are experiencing sorrows
