Perfect jewelry for the dog lover, the meaningful, one of a kind MY FOUR FOOTED FRIEND handmade necklace features an artisan red copper paw print pendant, blue sodalite gemstones and copper beads. The unique pendant was cut from copper sheet metal and then textured using a technique called “repousse” (pounding the back of the metal from the reverse to give it form). A lovely raised paw print is found on the front of the square pendant including the four toe pads and the metacarpal pad. The back of the pendant shows the recessed paw print. A raised frame was soldered around the paw print and a round bail was attached at the top. To get the glorious red orange copper color, a patination formula was brushed on and then fired at high what with a torch. So the colors don’t fade and for years of wearing pleasure, the pendant was brushed with a metal lacquer sealant. A thick copper jump ring securely fastens the paw print pendant to the main body of the necklace.  To perfectly complement the colors of the dog paw print pendant, rich blue sodalite rounds were used. Sodalite is a beautiful gemstone that ranges in shades from a midnight blue to a very pale blue, sometimes with white veining. The sodalite used in the necklace is mainly a medium blue with some darker and lighter blue beads, The finish of the gemstones is a medium shine, not high gloss and not matte, but somewhere in-between. Copper bicone beads add a wonderful gleam and break up the sodalite into alternate groups of five stones and three stones. A sleek copper toggle clasp set finishes the paw print necklace. Dog Paw Print Rescued Necklace, Purple Goldstone Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "Rescued" handmade necklace features a two-sided pewter dog print and rescued pendant, purple goldstone and Swarovski crystals - meaningful dog jewelry for women.

If you are looking for the perfect piece of meaningful jewelry for a dog lover, especially a woman who has one or more rescues, then the RESCUED necklace is perfect for her! The necklace features a two-sided lead free pewter pendant, glittering dark purple goldstone rounds, sparkling Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. The eye catching pendant mimics a rustic wax seal design, cast from lead free pewter in the U.S. The front side of the pendant spotlights a raised dog paw print, while, on the opposite side, the word “Rescued” is stamped on a raised bar. The pendant was oxidized and then polished. The raised areas of the paw print and the “rescued” word have a beautiful old silver look especially highlighted against the darker oxidized background.  One either side of the paw print pendant are three mega-sparkle faceted Swarovski crystal bicones in a captivating translucent violet color called “tanzanite.” The crystals are separated by small sterling silver beads. Three more tanzanite crystals can be found on each side of the necklace separating groupings of the purple goldstone. What is goldstone? Unfortunately, goldstone is often mistaken for or misrepresented as a natural gemstone. It is a type of glittering glass, usually coppery in color (due to copper oxides added to the glass), made in a low-oxygen reducing atmosphere. Purple goldstone gets its glittery color from manganese oxide, the sparkles are silvery against the rich purple of the glass. If you look closely at the photos, you can see the “sparkles”, the white dots in many of the dark purple beads. When held in good light, the silvery sparkles look like a multitude of stars in a night sky. The unique necklace is finished with a sterling silver toggle clasp set with a triangular shape. The LOVE OF MY LIFE handmade earrings are perfect for the woman who adores dogs . . . and who just might have a rescue dog or two sharing her home. And when sold, 50% of the purchase price is donated to an animal rescue group! The one of a kind earrings were created with copper paw print in heart teardrop charms and aqua Czech glass beads. The teardrop shaped charms were individually artisan handmade from start to finish from copper precious metal clay. Impressed into each teardrop dangle is a heart with a raised dog paw print in the middle. The teardrops were then torched to add a rustic patina and then polished to bring out the details. Since the paw prints in heart charms are handmade, they are very similar but are also a bit different as you can see in the photos.  To complement the color of the copper, glowing aqua blue Czech glass beads with copper daisy spacers were  stacked above the teardrop charms. The Czech beads have a spotty metallic gold Picasso finish to add a vintage look. The meaningful PINK PAW PRINTS handmade earrings are a perfect jewelry gift idea for the woman who adores cats and dogs. The earrings feature sweet Czech glass paw print shaped beads, sparkling Swarovski crystals and copper. The glass beads, made in the Czech Republic, started out as dusty pink molten glass. While still in a semi-melted state, a dog / cat paw print design was pressed into the glass on both sides creating a wonderful recessed texture. To bring out the details and to add a vintage look to the pad and the four toes, each footprint was coated with a bronze Picasso finish. The finish was then polished off the face of the beads, leaving the bronze mainly in the recessed areas and on the sides - each bead a bit different from the others. Since the dusty pink paw print beads are two sided, the earrings look beautiful from any angle.  To add a huge dose of sparkle to the earrings design, a single 6 mm faceted Swarovski crystal bicone was stacked on top of the paw print beads, separated by a copper daisy spacer. The color of the Swarovskis is called “rose peach,” a perfect color to highlight the dusty pink of the paw prints. Faceted pearls are not something you see every day! The alluring pearls are a snow white with shimmering luster, the facets adding even more beauty to the look. Above each pearl, separated by a copper daisy spacer, is a Czech glass disc in an aqua opal milk glass color. The discs are translucent, adding exquisite glow when the earrings are worn. A ridged, dark teal Czech glass lantern bead tops each disc. The lantern beads were coated with a metallic copper Picasso finish and then polished, leaving the metallic finish at the bottom of the ridges, providing subtle shimmer to the earrings.
