The meaningful WOOF! handmade earrings are perfect for anybody who adores their dog, especially if their sweetie is a rescue. One of a kind earrings, they feature artisan made copper dangles and two luscious colors of faceted Czech glass. The highlight of the dog rescue earrings are the oh-so-fun copper woof rectangle charms. The charms were individually artisan handmade from beginning to end from copper precious metal clay. Each slightly curved dangle was imprinted with a single word, “woof,” that is recessed from the background. To add an antiqued look, the dangles were heated with a butane torch to bring out the rich patina of the copper. The back of each dangle is slightly textured.  To add exquisite beauty and wonderful to the earrings design, two luxurious colors and shapes of Czech glass beads were stacked above the woof dangles. The larger rondelle-shaped bead was made from shimmering aqua opal glass that positively glows in the light. An earthy brownish tan Picasso finish coats both ends of the beads for a somewhat rustic look. Above the aqua opal bead, separated by a copper disc spacer, is a translucent Czech glass bead in a juicy color called opal pink rosewood.  Since both Czech glass beads are faceted, they provide wonderful sparkle to the earrings.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the WOOF! If you are looking for meaningful dog or cat paw prints and hearts jewelry, look no further than these adorable BEST BUDDY earrings! A perfect jewelry gift for the dog and cat lover, the one of a kind earrings were created with copper paw print on heart charms and two colors of faceted Czech glass rondelles. The oh-so-fun copper square-shaped charms were individually artisan made from beginning to end with pure copper. The design is a raised paw print in a recessed heart. The area around the hearts is also raised, adding wonderful texture. To add a rustic look, the charms were given a dark patina, polished to bring out the detail and then sealed. Since the dog and cat lover charms were individually artisan created, as you can see in the photos, they are very similar but not exactly the same.  To add a rich look and a pop of color to the overall earrings design, two colors and sizes of faceted Czech glass rondelles were used: red beads and aqua / amber beads. Since they are both faceted, subtle sparkle is added to the design. In addition, the bright scarlet red glass rondelles have an unexpected coppery gold Picasso finish at the top and bottom of the beads, adding even more charm. You can’t help but to smile when you see these unique HAPPY DOG earrings! The one of a kind beauties, a perfect gift for a dog lover, features artisan made ceramic dog face discs, artisan lampwork glass beads and copper. The ceramic discs were individually handmade from white ceramic clay and kiln fired twice for strength and durability. The design is so very whimsical: a textured, raised puppy dog face with a happy smile. The glaze is a high shine peach color (hard to photograph due to reflections) and brings out the dog faces perfectly since some glaze settled in the more recessed areas. The earrings are lightweight to wear.  Artisan lampwork beads were stacked above the dog face discs to perfectly complement them. The lampwork beads were made from borosilicate glass (a glass that is stronger than everyday glass) and feature a base glass of speckled medium greenish gray. Wrapped around the middle of the beads is a band of glass in a rich brick red color, a lovely counterpoint to the peach glaze of the dog discs. A 3 mm copper bead and two copper bicones were then stacked above for added copper beauty. The BEST FRIEND handmade earrings are a perfect jewelry gift for the dog lover, especially a woman who has a rescue dog (or two or more). The one of a kind earrings feature artisan copper paw print in a heart charms, transparent pink lampwork glass beads, also artisan handmade, and white Swarovski crystals. The meaningful charms were artisan created from beginning to end from precious metal clay, an artist's clay, that, when kiln fired, leaves pure copper. Since each round dangle was molded, shaped and carved one-by-one, you can tell from the photos there are slight differences from one charm to the other. After the kiln firing, the charms were given a patina and then polished for an aged, rustic look. If you look closely at the photos, you'll notice the hearts and paw prints were impressed into the copper, creating lovely texture. The hearts are recessed while the paw prints are raised in the middle of the hearts. To add a warm glow to the dog paw print earrings, gorgeous pink rose quartz lampwork glass beads and white Swarovski crystals were used. The lampwork glass beads were each created individually from transparent light pink glass (called “rose quartz” after the gemstone) with a high gloss finish. The color is soft and lovely, a perfect complement to the glow of the copper. And because the lampwork beads are transparent, they are glorious when backlit. Sitting on top of each lampwork bead, separated by a copper daisy spacer, is an opaque faceted Swarovski crystal bicone called “white alabaster,” adding subtle sparkle. The teardrop shaped charms were individually artisan handmade from start to finish from copper precious metal clay. Impressed into each teardrop dangle is a heart with a raised dog paw print in the middle. The teardrops were then torched to add a rustic patina and then polished to bring out the details. Since the paw prints in heart charms are handmade, they are very similar but are also a bit different as you can see in the photos.  To complement the color of the copper, glowing aqua blue Czech glass beads with copper daisy spacers were  stacked above the teardrop charms. The Czech beads have a spotty metallic gold Picasso finish to add a vintage look. The awesome earrings were created with individually artisan handmade hearts shaped lampwork glass beads with dog paw prints, Czech glass rondelles and sterling silver. The hearts would be beautiful by themselves, but whimsical dog paw prints, made from beige glass, was applied to each side of the hearts for eye catching appeal. The "Love My Dog" earrings feature two sided heart shaped silver over pewter charms 

and two colors of Czech glass.

If you are searching for the perfect jewelry gift for the woman who adores her dog / dogs, the LOVE MY DOG handmade earrings will be greatly appreciated and worn time and time again. The focal of the one of a kind dog rescue earrings are two sided, glowing silver over pewter heart shaped charms. One side says “heart my dog” - the other side has a single paw print. Both the saying and the paw print are recessed and have been oxidized to bring out their detail. Since the charms are two sided, the earrings look amazing from any angle. 

The back side of the heart charms feature a recessed and oxidized paw print.

To perfectly complement the dog charms and add beautiful color, Czech glass lavender discs and pink faceted glass nuggets were used. The lavender discs are an opalized lavender color that absolutely glow when worn or held up to the light. Two discs were used for each earrings. Stacked above the lavender discs are faceted strawberry pink Czech glass nuggets, separated from the discs by a small sterling silver daisy spacer. The nuggets have bits of white running through them, almost looking like a strawberry sundae. Since the nuggets are faceted, they add subtle sparkle to the earrings. Sterling silver earwires finish the meaningful earrings.
