The focal of the handmade dog rescue earrings are two-sided silver over pewter heart shaped charms:  the front says “Love My Dog” and the back has a single paw print.  The designs on both sides of the hearts were given a dark patina and then polished to bring out the beautiful details. The heart charms have a mirror-like finish, which, unfortunately, made them very hard to photograph without reflections of darker objects in the vicinity.  Please be assured they are a brilliant, shiny silver color.  To add more than a touch of vibrant color to the dog earrings, two types of high quality Czech glass beads were used. Just above the dog heart charms are two dark turquoise green discs w/ a dark Picasso finish to add an aged, rustic look to them. Above each set of discs are a single bright blazing coral orange melon bead, also with a Picasso finish, this time a copper color, that settled into the recesses to bring out the details. If you are searching for the perfect jewelry gift for the woman who adores her dog / dogs, the LOVE MY DOG handmade earrings will be greatly appreciated and worn time and time again. The focal of the one of a kind dog rescue earrings are two sided, glowing silver over pewter heart shaped charms. One side says “heart my dog” - the other side has a single paw print. Both the saying and the paw print are recessed and have been oxidized to bring out their detail. Since the charms are two sided, the earrings look amazing from any angle. 

The back side of the heart charms feature a recessed and oxidized paw print.

To perfectly complement the dog charms and add beautiful color, Czech glass lavender discs and pink faceted glass nuggets were used. The lavender discs are an opalized lavender color that absolutely glow when worn or held up to the light. Two discs were used for each earrings. Stacked above the lavender discs are faceted strawberry pink Czech glass nuggets, separated from the discs by a small sterling silver daisy spacer. The nuggets have bits of white running through them, almost looking like a strawberry sundae. Since the nuggets are faceted, they add subtle sparkle to the earrings. Sterling silver earwires finish the meaningful earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the LOVE MY DOG earrings were created for the woman who loves dog related jewelry.
