The meaningful WOOF! handmade earrings are perfect for anybody who adores their dog, especially if their sweetie is a rescue. One of a kind earrings, they feature artisan made copper dangles and two luscious colors of faceted Czech glass. The highlight of the dog rescue earrings are the oh-so-fun copper woof rectangle charms. The charms were individually artisan handmade from beginning to end from copper precious metal clay. Each slightly curved dangle was imprinted with a single word, “woof,” that is recessed from the background. To add an antiqued look, the dangles were heated with a butane torch to bring out the rich patina of the copper. The back of each dangle is slightly textured.  To add exquisite beauty and wonderful to the earrings design, two luxurious colors and shapes of Czech glass beads were stacked above the woof dangles. The larger rondelle-shaped bead was made from shimmering aqua opal glass that positively glows in the light. An earthy brownish tan Picasso finish coats both ends of the beads for a somewhat rustic look. Above the aqua opal bead, separated by a copper disc spacer, is a translucent Czech glass bead in a juicy color called opal pink rosewood.  Since both Czech glass beads are faceted, they provide wonderful sparkle to the earrings.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the WOOF! The one of a kind, slightly convex pedant was artisan made from beginning to end from pure copper A dog paw print is raised against the background. What makes the one of a kind pendant even more eye-catching is the unexpected paisley design in the larger metacarpal pad along with the four toe pads. The edge of the pendant is scalloped for even more interesting texture. The fun, individually handmade charms are a unique half-moon shape, hanging with the curved part at the top and the 3-holed straight edge at the bottom. A high gloss, pale pink enameled background perfectly highlights the two black paw prints found on each charm. The detail of the paw prints is amazing, the larger metacarpal pad along with the four toe pads are easily seen. The back of each charm is enameled in jet black. To add flirty movement along with lots of sparkle, sterling silver chain and Swarovski crystals were attached to the three holes to the bottom edge of the charms. This sterling silver box chain has flat links which capture and reflect the light wonderfully. The middle hole of the charms has four links of the box chain while the two holes at each end have two links. Dog Paw Print Rescued Necklace, Purple Goldstone Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "Rescued" handmade necklace features a two-sided pewter dog print and rescued pendant, purple goldstone and Swarovski crystals - meaningful dog jewelry for women.

If you are looking for the perfect piece of meaningful jewelry for a dog lover, especially a woman who has one or more rescues, then the RESCUED necklace is perfect for her! The necklace features a two-sided lead free pewter pendant, glittering dark purple goldstone rounds, sparkling Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. The eye catching pendant mimics a rustic wax seal design, cast from lead free pewter in the U.S. The front side of the pendant spotlights a raised dog paw print, while, on the opposite side, the word “Rescued” is stamped on a raised bar. The pendant was oxidized and then polished. The raised areas of the paw print and the “rescued” word have a beautiful old silver look especially highlighted against the darker oxidized background.  One either side of the paw print pendant are three mega-sparkle faceted Swarovski crystal bicones in a captivating translucent violet color called “tanzanite.” The crystals are separated by small sterling silver beads. Three more tanzanite crystals can be found on each side of the necklace separating groupings of the purple goldstone. What is goldstone? Unfortunately, goldstone is often mistaken for or misrepresented as a natural gemstone. It is a type of glittering glass, usually coppery in color (due to copper oxides added to the glass), made in a low-oxygen reducing atmosphere. Purple goldstone gets its glittery color from manganese oxide, the sparkles are silvery against the rich purple of the glass. If you look closely at the photos, you can see the “sparkles”, the white dots in many of the dark purple beads. When held in good light, the silvery sparkles look like a multitude of stars in a night sky. The unique necklace is finished with a sterling silver toggle clasp set with a triangular shape. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the RESCUED necklace was created for the woman who adores and is proud of her rescue dog(s).

Dog Heart Necklace, I Ruff You Ceramic Turquoise Handmade Jewelry Gift

The unique "I Ruff You" dog necklace features an artisan handmade dog on heart ceramic pendant, genuine turquoise and copper - jewelry for the dog lover.

You can’t help but to smile each and every time you look at the pendant on the I RUFF YOU dog lover’s necklace! A perfect gift for the woman who adores dogs, the one of a kind handmade necklace features an artisan created ceramic dog on heart pendant, genuine turquoise and copper. The rustic style pendant was hand formed from ceramic clay into a heart with a dog and “I ruff you” impressed into the clay. After being hand painted with dark browns, rusty orange and minty green with a part of the front left unglazed, the pendant was kiln fired at high temperature to add strength and durability (however, if struck on a hard surface, the pendant could crack or chip). The design of the pendant is so whimsical: a cheeky looking dog with curled tail held high is highlighted in a brown glaze against an unglazed background. “I ruff you” is written above, also highlighted in dark brown. Rusty orange and minty green is splotched here and there. As an added bonus, the back of the pendant was left unglazed to act as an essential oil diffuser - just add a few drops of your favorite essential oil and the porous ceramic will hold the aroma for several days. Two heavy duty copper jump rings securely connect the dog and heart pendant to the main body of the necklace.  To perfectly complementi the colors and the rustic look of the dog pendant, gorgeous genuine turquoise rondelles were used. The colors of the turquoise rondelles, which are natural and not color enhanced, run more to various shades of greens and browns with a bit of blue here and there. You can’t help but to smile when you see these unique HAPPY DOG earrings! The one of a kind beauties, a perfect gift for a dog lover, features artisan made ceramic dog face discs, artisan lampwork glass beads and copper. The ceramic discs were individually handmade from white ceramic clay and kiln fired twice for strength and durability. The design is so very whimsical: a textured, raised puppy dog face with a happy smile. The glaze is a high shine peach color (hard to photograph due to reflections) and brings out the dog faces perfectly since some glaze settled in the more recessed areas. The earrings are lightweight to wear.  Artisan lampwork beads were stacked above the dog face discs to perfectly complement them. The lampwork beads were made from borosilicate glass (a glass that is stronger than everyday glass) and feature a base glass of speckled medium greenish gray. Wrapped around the middle of the beads is a band of glass in a rich brick red color, a lovely counterpoint to the peach glaze of the dog discs. A 3 mm copper bead and two copper bicones were then stacked above for added copper beauty. The one of a kind FAITHFUL necklace is a perfect piece of handmade jewelry to gift a woman who loves dogs, especially if her dog(s) is a rescue. The meaningful design features a two sided, lead free pewter dog pendant, brilliant red coral nuggets and earthy Picasso jasper. The star of the one of a kind necklace is the lead free pewter dog pendant. It has a wonderfully rustic look to it since it was patterned after wax seal stamps that were once used to secure letters and documents. The pendant is two-sided. The front features a raised dog design with the word “faithful” above it. The backside has the word "FAITHFUL" on a raised sign. To lend a vintage feel, the charm was coated with a dark patina and then polished, leaving the raised areas shiny to bring out the lovely detail. To perfectly highlight the dog pendant, bright red coral nuggets and earthy colored Picasso jasper gemstones was used. Three pieces of red coral were used on each side of where the pendant connects and is then placed in groups of two with a jasper round separating them. The color of the Picasso jasper rounds range in shades of brown, from a light tan to darker browns, some with hints of gray. Separating the red coral from the jasper are small, glowing sterling silver beads. The necklace is finished with a small toggle clasp set. The teardrop shaped charms were individually artisan handmade from start to finish from copper precious metal clay. Impressed into each teardrop dangle is a heart with a raised dog paw print in the middle. The teardrops were then torched to add a rustic patina and then polished to bring out the details. Since the paw prints in heart charms are handmade, they are very similar but are also a bit different as you can see in the photos.  To complement the color of the copper, glowing aqua blue Czech glass beads with copper daisy spacers were  stacked above the teardrop charms. The Czech beads have a spotty metallic gold Picasso finish to add a vintage look. Love My Dog Earrings, Hearts Paw Prints Silver Handmade Jewelry Gift

The meaningful "Love My Dog" handmade earrings feature two-sided heart shaped charms and two colors and types of Czech glass beads - jewelry for the dog lover.

Any woman who loves dogs will adore these meaningful LOVE MY DOG earrings - they are a perfect jewelry gift for a dog lover and give back to the local community when purchased. The focal of the handmade dog rescue earrings are two-sided silver over pewter heart shaped charms:  the front says “Love My Dog” and the back has a single paw print.  The designs on both sides of the hearts were given a dark patina and then polished to bring out the beautiful details. The heart charms have a mirror-like finish, which, unfortunately, made them very hard to photograph without reflections of darker objects in the vicinity.  Please be assured they are a brilliant, shiny silver color.  To add more than a touch of vibrant color to the dog earrings, two types of high quality Czech glass beads were used. Just above the dog heart charms are two dark turquoise green discs w/ a dark Picasso finish to add an aged, rustic look to them. Above each set of discs are a single bright blazing coral orange melon bead, also with a Picasso finish, this time a copper color, that settled into the recesses to bring out the details. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the LOVE MY DOG earrings are a meaningful jewelry gift for the dog lover.

The "For the Love of Good Dogs" earrings feature ceramic teardrop shaped dog charms, frosted lampwork glass beads and Swarovski crystals - unique dog jewelry for her.

If you or a loved one adores the faithfulness, beauty and goofiness of dogs, the FOR THE LOVE OF GOOD DOGS handmade earrings are a perfect gift. The one of a kind earrings feature unique artisan created ceramic dog silhouette charms, frosted artisan lampwork glass beads and glittering Swarovski crystals. Created individually from twice kiln fired ceramic, the dog dangles are teardrop shaped and glazed with two coats of pale minty green in the center and bronze around the edges. There is some crazing to add a lovely vintage look. The dog designs are mirror images and were impressed into the ceramic for great texture. The back of the dangles don’t have a dog design but are glazed  so the earrings look beautiful from any angle.  Because the dog charms were created from ceramic, the earrings are lightweight to wear.  Perfectly complementing the ceramic dog teardrops are artisan handmade frosted lampwork beads and Swarovski crystals. The lampwork beads were created with pale green glass and then given a pearlized coating for amazing glow when backlit. Stacked above each lampwork bead are two faceted Swarovski crystal bicones to add amazing sparkle to the dog earrings design. The color is called “light Colorado topaz” and highlights the rich bronze glaze of the teardrops.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the FOR THE LOVE OF GOOD DOGS earrings were created for the woman who can’t imagine life with a good dog . . . or two . . . or more!
