The cheerful SUN’S RAYS handmade earrings are perfect to wear all spring and summer long! Wonderful jewelry for the sun worshiper, these beauties feature rustic Mykonos sun charms and two colors and shapes of Czech glass beads. The unique raised sun charms were made on the Greek island of Mykonos, cast by artisans there. The metal is lead and nickel free, plated in copper and then given a gorgeous turquoise blue green patina. The charms were then hand buffed to bring out the beauty of the raised rays of the sun design. The back of each charm is finished with a dark patina.  Perfectly complementing the sun charms are Czech glass beads. The first are rondelles in an eye catching milky opal aqua blue glass with a earthy brown Picasso bringing out the ridges on each end. The beads are faceted around the middle for subtle sparkle. Because they are translucent, the beads absolutely glow when worn. Stacked above them, separated by a single copper disc spacer, are cheery sunflower yellow Czech glass rondelles. Also faceted and translucent, they add unexpected sunny color to the overall earrings design. Blue Brown Red Bracelet, Sodalite Gemstone Czech Glass Handmade Jewelry

The earthy "Bontà" handmade bracelet features a color block design with faceted blue sodalite gemstones and two colors of faceted Czech glass rondelles - unique jewelry for women.

Beautiful in all it’s earthy goodness, the BONTÀ handmade bracelet will quickly become favorite jewelry for your wrist. The eye catching, color block bracelet features gorgeous faceted blue sodalite gemstones and faceted Czech glass beads in creamy brown and bright red. Sodalite, a gemstone that was sacred to many ancient indigenous people in Peru, Bolivia and other countries, is normally varying shades of royal blue with natural white veining. As you can see in the photos, the blue ranges from very dark to a pale light blue. Most of the sodalite stones have various amounts of veining, some just a few streaks while some have large white patches. The sodalite is grouped in two sets of three and one set of five, each gemstone separated by a small sterling silver bead. Since the sodalite is faceted, the gemstones sparkle as the bracelet is moved.  To add an earthy look, brown Czech glass rondelles were added into the mix. The glass is an opaque creamy tan with a Picasso finish of dark toffee brown with bits of greenish blue on the ends. The middle of the beads are faceted for subtle sparkle. There is a grouping of three of these rondelles in addition to a single. To add a pop of bright red color to the bracelet design, scarlet red Czech glass rondelles were scattered through the bracelet: three singles and one set of three. The center of the scarlet red beads are faceted for glitter and the ends have a metallic copper Picasso finish. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the BONTÀ bracelet was created for the woman who loves wearing one of a kind, artisan jewelry. “Bontà” is Italian for “goodness.”

Blue White Flower Earrings, Enamel Lampwork Boho Handmade Jewelry

The gorgeous "A Field of Blue" handmade earrings feature artisan blue flower enamel dangles, artisan frosted lampwork glass beads, sapphire blue roller beads and leafy bronze bead caps - unique floral jewelry for women.

The charming A FIELD OF BLUE handmade earrings are a perfect gift for the woman who loves to wear bold, boho-style flower jewelry. Reminiscent of a gorgeous field of swaying dark blue flowers, the beautiful one of a kind earrings feature artisan blue, green and white enamel floral dangles, glowing artisan frosted white lampwork glass beads, sapphire blue Czech glass roller beads, bronze bead caps, copper and sterling silver. The captivating enamelled copper long rectangles, which are almost 2” / 5.1 cm long, were individually created. Shiny white enamel glass powder was fused onto the front of the copper rectangles at very high heat with a torch. Azure blue glass powder was torched onto the white background to create the individual flowers, with lines of green glass powder to form the stems of the flowers. Black enamel finishes the back of the rectangles.  To perfectly complement the flower dangles, frosted white lampwork glass beads, premium quality blue glass roller beads and patinated bronze bead caps were used. The lampwork glass beads, located just above the flowers, were individually artisan created from clear glass. To add a frosted sea glass look, the beads were acid etched. Because the beads are frosted, they glow amazingly when the earrings are worn (please see photos #2 and #8 to see pics of the earrings hanging). A bronze bead cap with a leafy design clasps the top of the lampwork beads. Just above the frosted beads are faceted, richly colored sapphire blue Czech glass roller beads. Since the roller beads were created from translucent blue glass, they beautifully glow and sparkle. Leafy bronze bead caps were placed on the top and bottom of the roller beads. Terracotta and Red Coral Tribal Necklace, Mali Beads Handmade Jewelry

The "Song of the Kalahari" necklace features individually handmade terracotta trumpet beads and small ridged terracotta beads with red coral and copper - one of a kind jewelry for women.

If you love wearing one of a kind, tribal inspired jewelry, the SONG OF THE KALAHARI handmade necklace is perfect for you. The organic necklace features natural terracotta clay beads, red coral and copper. Two types of earthy terracotta beads were used in the necklace design, each bead individually handcrafted by an artist in Mali. Nine long trumpet shaped beads that were inscribed at the wide end create a unique collar.

Separating the trumpets are small, ridged terracotta beads flanked on each side by red coral rondelles and copper beads. The colors of the natural beads, which are the same colors as the soil of the Kalahari Desert, range from a light red to a pale beige. Since each bead was individually crafted, each one is a bit different, giving a definite boho flair to the necklace. A twisted copper toggle clasp set finishes the necklace beautifully. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the SONG OF THE KALAHARI tribal necklace is a perfect gift for the woman who adores wearing one of a kind artisan jewelry. “Terracotta” means “baked earth.”

Peaceful Goddess with Spiral Necklace, Earthy Jasper Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "Síochánta" handmade necklace was created with an artisan polymer clay goddess pendant, earthy jasper rondelles and copper - goddess jewelry for women.

Filled with a warm, tranquil feeling, the SÍOCHÁNTA goddess necklace is a perfect necklace to wear when you are in a contemplative mood . . . or just want to make a fabulous fashion statement. The one of a kind necklace features an artisan handmade goddess pendant with a peaceful look on her face, earthy colored jasper gemstones and glowing copper. The stunning, rustic pendant, which looks like an ancient artefact, was created from off-white polymer clay that was molded into a serene goddess face with closed eyes. The goddess has a spiral design in the middle of her forehead, a spiraling horn is found at the bottom of the pendant and a flower petal-like design around most of the edge of the face. Alcohol inks in shades of light olive green, creamy yellow, dark brown and teal were hand painted on the face. The dark brown ink particularly settled into the recessed areas bringing out the amazing detail and texture of the pendant. The back of the pendant is also painted and is smooth in texture. Two heavy duty copper jump rings connect the goddess pendant to the main body of the necklace. “Síochánta” is Gaelic for “peaceful.”

***Please note: the photos show the raised areas of the goddess pendant, most notably the mouth and nose, as being particularly light in color. In real life, those areas blend much more evenly into the color scheme of the pendant.

To perfectly complement the goddess face pendant, chunky jasper gemstone rondelles were used. The natural earthy swirling colors of the jasper range from pale beige through mossy greens, brick red to black, many pieces containing several of the colors, each piece unique. The jasper is graduated in size, the larger gemstones in front and the smaller to the back. To add gorgeous glow and a sinuous drape to the overall design, 3 mm copper beads separate each jasper rondelle. A handmade (by me) copper hook clasp and hammered closed ring finishes the necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the SÍOCHÁNTA pendant necklace was created for the woman who adores wearing handmade artisan jewelry . . . and who has more than a bit of goddess in herself!
