The two-sided coin shaped Czech glass beads were created from orange glass with a stone like travertine finish in browns, dark gray, minty green and misty blue. While the glass was still molten, an eight-pointed star within a circle was impressed into each side. A gold Picasso finish was added to bring out the details of the star and the circle Since the Czech star beads are two sided, the earrings look wonderful from any angle. *** This particular star is a symbol of the ancient Sumerian goddess Inanna which was later worshipped by the Babylonians, Assyrians and others under the name Ishtar, the Queen of Heaven. She was the goddess of love, beauty, fertility, war, justice, and political power. Because Ishtar was associated with the planet Venus, the star is also known as the Star of Venus.  To add a rich copper glow, intricate filigree flower petal bead caps were placed on the top and bottom of the star beads. Sun Moon Stars Celestial Earrings, Ceramic Blue Brown Handmade Jewelry

The "Celestial" handmade earrings feature artisan handmade sun, moon and stars ceramic discs, sapphire blue Czech roller beads and Swarovski crystals - gorgeous jewelry for women.

If you or someone you know loves anything having to do with the sky, especially the sun, moon and stars, then the well-named CELESTIAL handmade earrings are definitely a stellar jewelry gift!  The magical, one of a kind beauties feature artisan handmade ceramic discs with a celestial design, sapphire blue Czech glass roller beads and Swarovski crystals. The beautiful discs were individually artisan handmade from porcelain clay, kiln fired, painted and then fired again.  As you can see in the photos, the center of the discs have a sun, crescent moon and stars designs, the raised areas with the natural porcelain color and the recessed areas filled with the medium brown glaze. To highlight the celestial design in the center, the outer rim has a rustic etched design and was painted with two shades of blue.  The back of each disc is finished with the blue glazes.  Perfectly complementing the eye catching celestial discs are Czech glass roller beads, to represent the night sky, and sparkling Swarovski crystals to represent the stars.  The roller beads are an exquisite translucent sapphire color with golden silver centers. The depth of these beads are amazing and they positively glow in the light when the earrings are worn.  Nestled into the top of each roller bead is a single 6 mm Swarovski crystal in an almost clear color called “crystal silver shade” with a soft silvery sheen. The one of a kind Mother Nature's Stars handmade necklace was created with starburst jasper, coppery freshwater pearls and sterling silver - unique jewelry for women.

The spectacular semi precious gemstones used in the one of a kind MOTHER NATURE’S STARS handmade necklace look like brilliant sprays of stars or fireworks. Although the gemstone is called starburst jasper (also chrysanthemum jasper and spider jasper), it is actually not a jasper at all but a type of rhyolite formed during volcanic activity. The star patterns are large crystals that were created during the slow cooling of lava. Each of the seven gemstones used in the artisan necklace is covered in starburst patterns, front and back, contrasting exquisitely against a darker background in various shades of brown. To add even more beauty, each piece of the somewhat chunky, flattened jasper is large faceted on the edges and has a high, glossy shine, perfect to catch and reflect the light. Sterling silver daisy spacers frame each end of the jasper.  To add more than a touch of radiance to the necklace and to complement the colors of the starburst jasper perfectly, freshwater potato pearls separate each piece of starburst jasper and finish the back of the necklace.
