Sun Symbol Necklace, Southwest Petroglyph Gemstones Handmade Jewelry

The beautiful "Halo Sun" handmade necklace features a petroglyph inspired sun pendant, leopardskin jasper, shell and copper - unique Southwest jewelry for women.

Filled with the rich, earthy colors of the Desert Southwest, the one of a kind HALO SUN necklace is a perfect handmade jewelry gift for the woman who loves the symbolism of Native American petroglyphs. The beautiful necklace features an artisan polymer clay sun symbol pendant, leopardskin jasper gemstones, shell heishe and copper. The pendant was created from white polymer clay. A concentric circle halo sun symbol design was inscribed free hand into the polymer clay then hand painted with earthy pigments reminiscent of the sandstone and sage of the desert. The backside of the pendant is also inscribed with a petroglyph looking design, including the maker’s mark, a spiraling P. A coating of clear polymer clay sealer was applied to protect the pendant and keep it vibrant for many years of wearing pleasure. Three heavy gauge copper jump rings securely fasten the unique wire bail of the pendant to the main body of the necklace.

To perfectly highlight the colors of the sun pendant, gorgeous leopardskin jasper and shell heishe was used. Also sometimes referred to as jaguar stone, leopardskin jasper is known for its earthy colors and distinct potter and swirly patterns. As you can see in the photos, the colors range from a dark reddish brown pinks, peaches and a pale beige. Each stone is distinct in its pattern. Between each grouping of three leopardskin jasper rounds, each separated by small copper beads, is found three thin heishe shell discs in a pale peachy color, also separated from the jasper by copper beads. A copper hook clasp set finishes the meaningful necklace. Summer Sun Surf Earrings, Beach Yellow Crystals Handmade Jewelry Gift

The unique "Good Day, Sunshine" handmade earrings feature artisan created pewter sunrise and surf charms and yellow Swarovski crystals - summer jewelry for women.

Full of sparkling fun, the GOOD DAY, SUNSHINE handmade dangle earrings are perfect to wear during those long summer days at the beach, at home or at a party. The one of a kind earrings feature artisan handmade, lead free pewter charms with a sunrise and surf design. The high quality sun and surf charms were given a dark patina and then polished to add a lovely vintage look to them. The glowing design is raised to give wonderful texture to the charms. The back of the charms are a dark patina.  Because of the sunrise surf vibe, three sets of sparkling Swarovski crystals were carefully wire wrapped with sterling silver wire to the bottom of the charms, adding amazing sparkle to the earrings. The color of the crystals is a vibrant yellow called “sunflower.” Small sterling beads cap the top and bottom of the crystals - the middle dangle has three beads on top to make it a bit longer than the dangles to each side. Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the unique earrings. Bronze Spiral Sun Necklace, Honey Onyx Gemstone Handmade Jewelry Gift

The SUMMER DAZE pendant necklace is filled with the beauty and wonder of ancient symbolism, perfect handmade jewelry to wear on those hot summer days. The one of a kind necklace features a glowing artisan created bronze spiral sun pendant, unique honey onyx gemstones and copper.  Often found in the Anasazi people’s petroglyphs, a spiral sun is a symbol of healing and the natural rhythms of life, death and rebirth.  Artisan crafted from pure glowing bronze, the round pendant has a spiral sun design, the spiral in the center of the sun with rays emanating from it. The design is raised off the background lending the pendant a wonderful tactile texture. Slightly domed in shape, the pendant has a smooth back. To perfectly complement the glorious bronze color of the pendant and to add even more summery goodness, natural honey onyx gemstones and copper make up the main body of the necklace. Honey onyx is a unique stone, prized for centuries due to its exotic look and translucent qualities. As its name suggests, the gemstones are a lovely pale honey color with a slight greenish tinge. Sun Moon Stars Celestial Earrings, Ceramic Blue Brown Handmade Jewelry

The "Celestial" handmade earrings feature artisan handmade sun, moon and stars ceramic discs, sapphire blue Czech roller beads and Swarovski crystals - gorgeous jewelry for women.

If you or someone you know loves anything having to do with the sky, especially the sun, moon and stars, then the well-named CELESTIAL handmade earrings are definitely a stellar jewelry gift!  The magical, one of a kind beauties feature artisan handmade ceramic discs with a celestial design, sapphire blue Czech glass roller beads and Swarovski crystals. The beautiful discs were individually artisan handmade from porcelain clay, kiln fired, painted and then fired again.  As you can see in the photos, the center of the discs have a sun, crescent moon and stars designs, the raised areas with the natural porcelain color and the recessed areas filled with the medium brown glaze. To highlight the celestial design in the center, the outer rim has a rustic etched design and was painted with two shades of blue.  The back of each disc is finished with the blue glazes.  Perfectly complementing the eye catching celestial discs are Czech glass roller beads, to represent the night sky, and sparkling Swarovski crystals to represent the stars.  The roller beads are an exquisite translucent sapphire color with golden silver centers. The depth of these beads are amazing and they positively glow in the light when the earrings are worn.  Nestled into the top of each roller bead is a single 6 mm Swarovski crystal in an almost clear color called “crystal silver shade” with a soft silvery sheen. Spiral Sun Pendant Necklace, Polymer Clay Petroglyph Handmade Jewelry

The "Desert Sun" handmade necklace features an artisan spiral sun pendant, carnelian gemstones and copper - unique Southwest inspired jewelry.

Filled with an ancient wonder of the magic of petroglyphs, the DESERT SUN handmade necklace is a perfect jewelry gift for the woman who loves the beauty of the Desert Southwest. The unique necklace features a one of a kind, artisan spiral sun pendant created from polymer clay, two sizes of carnelian and copper. Inspired by Anasazi petroglyphs found painted on canyon walls and caves in the Four Corners area, spiral suns are a symbol of healing and also represent the natural movements and rhythms of life, the constant motion of the universe. The  rustically shaped pendant has a freehand hand carved spiral sun design on white polymer clay. After curing, the pendant was painted w/ earthy desert colored pigments.  A very light coat of a sealer was applied to keep the colors bright for years to come. The backside of the pendant is  inscribed with the artist’s mark, a spiral P.   Two sizes of carnelian gemstones perfectly highlight the earthy petroglyph pendant.
