A MERMAID handmade art earrings are perfect for the woman who has a bit of mermaid in her and who also loves famous works of art. Beautifully unique art jewelry, the one of a kind earrings feature artisan created faux vintage copper dangles, swirled green Czech glass beads and sparkling brown Swarovski crystals. The eye catching mermaid  charms were individually hand cut into a trapezoid shape from copper sheeting, filed and sanded. A permanent metal transfer was applied for the faux tin look and then the charms were waterproof sealed for many years of wearing fun. The back of the dangles are shiny copper. Since the dangles were individually artisan made, they are very similar but not exactly the same.  To perfectly complement the mermaids, Czech glass beads and sparkling Swarovski crystals were used. The Czech glass beads were made from opaque medium pine green glass that shades to light apple green with a rustic silky matte finish. To add even more eye appeal, a gold Picasso finish was washed onto about ⅓ of the surface of the beads, adding a wonderful glow. To add mega sparkle, a faceted "smoky topaz" brown Swarovski crystal bicone was placed above each Czech bead.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, unique A MERMAID earrings are a great gift, sure to please the woman who loves great works of art and mermaids!

The mermaid dangles were inspired by the famous John William Waterhouse masterpiece, "A Mermaid," which was painted in 1900. The dangles are a cropped version of a mermaid perched on a rock with her tail coiled around her, combing out her long red hair while singing a song. In front of her is a large shell filled with pearls (legend says the pearls are formed by the tears of dead sailors). She is highlighted by the aqua green sea and rocky arches behind her. White Aqua Red Bracelet, Pearls Czech Glass Copper Handmade Jewelry

The "Mermaid's Dream" handmade bracelet features white freshwater pearls, aqua Czech glass discs and coral red Czech glass rondelles - unique jewelry for women.

Filled with blocks of color that represent the oceans, the MERMAID’S DREAM handmade bracelet is a perfect gift for the woman who loves unique jewelry . . . and who might have more than a bit of mermaid in her soul. Filled with vibrant color, the bracelet was created with sumptuous white pearls, rich aqua discs and bright coral red rondelles. As you can see in the photos, the white freshwater pearls have a luscious, luminous glow. The pearls are more oval in shape, each one a bit different from the other, as is normal with freshwater pearls. The glow of the pearls is eye catching, almost as they have their own light source. Copper beads separate each pearl, adding their own beautiful glow.  On the opposite side of the bracelet, are found translucent aqua Czech glass disc spacers that positively glow in the light, reminiscent of the waters of the Caribbean. To add an aged look, the discs were speckled with a metallic gold Picasso finish that adds great eye appeal. The discs were placed in groups of five with copper beads separating each group. Between the pearls and the discs are found three bright red coral Czech glass rondelles. The middle of the red rondelles are faceted to add subtle sparkle. The rondelles also have a metallic gold Picasso finish, this time on each end of the beads. The bracelet is securely finished with a copper toggle clasp set.
