Dress your baby girl in this adorable sundress for casual occasions. I hand knit this dress, an original design by Cathy Morgan of CraftingMemories1, with pink acrylic yarn. This dress is size 3 to 6 months. The length is for a tunic but would probably look more like a dress on a 3-month-old.
The front of the dress has an adorable flower motif. The petals of the flower are made with bobbles. Bobbles are small round shapes that stand out a little more than the rest of the pattern. The bottom of the dress has large ruffles that remind me of pleats in a cheerleader’s skirt. The ruffle was the idea that started the pattern for a little girl’s dress. The other sections just seem to work well with the ruffle.
