If you’re looking for a smile inducing pair of handmade Christmas earrings, ones that are not over the top holiday glitzy but have more than a touch of extreme elegance, the ELEGANT SNOWMEN earrings are the perfect pair for you. And what elegant snowmen they are, looking like they are stepping out on the town to go to a formal Christmas event. Featuring snow white Swarovski pearls, sparkling black Swarovski crystal collars were added along with black crystal top hats. The main body of each snowman is made with two different sizes of Swarovski crystal pearls, the larger for the body, the smaller for the head. As you can see in the photographs, the pearl finish is exquisite, like a gowing mirror-finish. Because of the fabulous glow of the Swarovski crystal pearls, I had a hard time photographing the earrings since the pearls reflected the colors around them, including my silhouette and the sky. Rest assured, the color of the Swarovski pearls are a lustrous snow white.  To add a touch of sparkly elegance to the snowman earrings, gold plated brass squaredelles set with faceted jet black Swarovski crystal bicones separate the larger pearl from the smaller pearl forming a sparkling collar. Two jet black crystals are found on each side of the wavy-edged squaredelles.  Since all handsome snowmen need a top hat, the hat of each snowman was made from faceted jet black Czech crystal rondelles (the bottom part of the hat) and faceted jet black Swarovski crystal bicones (the top part). The black collars and the black top hat are just the right amount of contrast with the pearls for eye catching appeal.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the ELEGANT SNOWMEN earrings can be worn with any outfit, from very casual, to office wear, to your very dressy holiday wear (perfect with a little black dress!). These cuties will certainly become a "go to" pair of holiday earrings!

Christmas Tree Earrings, Green Crystals Handmade Holiday Jewelry Gift

The "O Tannenbaum" handmade earrings feature artisan Christmas trees on copper and emerald green Swarovski crystals - unique holiday jewelry for women.

Filled with the magic and wonder of Christmas trees on a snowy day, the perfectly named O TANNENBAUM earrings will become favorite holiday jewelry for years to come. The beautiful one of a kind earrings feature artisan created, vintage look Christmas trees and snow charms and sparkling emerald green Swarovski crystals. The eye catching Christmas tree dangles look like they were cut from from old cookie or tea tins but they were individually hand cut, filed and sanded from modern copper. A permanent metal transfer was applied to the round copper cut outs and then sealed for years of wearing pleasure. The round dangles feature snow flocked green Christmas trees with three rings of snow and a slightly leaning snowball on top. The charms have a light aqua blue background with snowflakes falling here and there. The back of the Christmas tree dangles is smooth, shiny copper which will gradually gain a patina over time. Because the charms are made from copper, the earrings are very lightweight to wear.  Since all Christmas jewelry needs a huge dose of incredible sparkle, two sizes of faceted Swarovski crystal bicones were stacked above the Christmas tree charms. The color is a rich green called “emerald” which perfectly highlight the green of the trees.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the O TANNENBAUM earrings are a thoughtful gift for the woman who loves unique Christmas jewelry. “Tannenbaum” is German for “Christmas tree.”

Handmade Kitchen Set, Hanging Hand Towel, Washcloths, Potholders

This beautiful handmade kitchen set includes a hanging hand towel, 2 washcloths, and 2 potholders. The hanging hand towel is knit from a pattern designed by me, Cathy Morgan of CraftingMemories1. It has a 3-inch loop and a button to attach to a stove or refrigerator handle. The 2 washcloths are hand knit. The 2 potholders are from a pattern designed by me, Cathy Morgan of CraftingMemories1. These potholders are crocheted in the Tunisian stitch making a close and tight stitch. Each potholder is doubled and then I crochet a border around the whole thing to keep them together and I crocheted a loop for hanging them.

I used Peaches & Crème 100% USA cotton yarn in the color Seaside. It is a mix of blues and greens. I also used Peaches & Crème 100% USA cotton yarn in the color White. If you would like this set in a different color just send me a message. I will be happy to work with you!

This handmade kitchen set would make a great gift for a bridal shower gift, Christmas gift, Mother's Day gift, or just keep it for yourself. Baby Girl Dress, Original Design, 3-6 months, Gift for Baby

Dress your baby girl in this adorable sundress for casual occasions. I hand knit this dress, an original design by Cathy Morgan of CraftingMemories1, with pink acrylic yarn. This dress is size 3 to 6 months. The length is for a tunic but would probably look more like a dress on a 3-month-old.

The front of the dress has an adorable flower motif. The petals of the flower are made with bobbles. Bobbles are small round shapes that stand out a little more than the rest of the pattern. The bottom of the dress has large ruffles that remind me of pleats in a cheerleader’s skirt. The ruffle was the idea that started the pattern for a little girl’s dress. The other sections just seem to work well with the ruffle.

Very intricately knit Irish Trinity Stitch Celtic Knot Neck Warmer is in a warm beautiful using Caron Simply Soft and Stunning Vintage Celtic style buttons in a gunmetal dark gray color. This was an extremely fun design to create and has a wonderful central celtic cable going the length of the scarf.
Buttons vary with each neckwarmer as I try to match them to their best design. I use some that are metal plated and some that are metal and others that are wooden. Popcorn or Trinity stitch balls create a unique border. Two to Three buttons close this incredible scarf and button in the front. Elegant front ruffled edge seals the deal on this one to make it a Victorian style as well. Handmade Neck warmer measures 27 1/2 end to end and 5 1/4 wide. This design is very light weight but cozy.
