Spiral Goddess Earrings, Copper Purple Crystals Pagan Handmade Jewelry

 

The beautiful "Spiral Goddess" handmade earrings were created with artisan copper goddess dangles, artisan amethyst purple lampwork glass beads and Swarovski crystals - unique jewelry for women.

The unique SPIRAL GODDESS handmade earrings are based on a beautiful pagan symbol that has been used for millennia, from ancient to modern societies in art, rituals and legends, to celebrate the beauty of the sacred feminine. The meaningful one of a kind earrings feature copper spiral goddess dangles in an inverted teardrops shape, artisan amethyst purple lampwork glass beads and Swarovski crystals. The goddess charms were individually artisan-created: molded, shaped, carved and fired in a kiln from beginning to end from precious metal copper clay. A spiral goddess design is imprinted on each dangle providing a wonderful texture, a woman with raised arms meeting above her head and a spiral in her belly. The charms were torched at high heat to bring out the details so they have a rich, rustic copper patina on the front and back. Since the charms were individually handmade, they are very similar but not exactly the same. The backs of the charms are slightly domed and are mostly smooth with a bit of the goddess design showing through.  To perfectly complement the spiral goddess charms, artisan made lampwork glass beads and Swarovski crystals were used. The lampwork glass beads are a luscious light amethyst purple color with a frosted sea glass finish. Due to the matte finish, the purple beads seem to capture and radiate light - they positively glow when the earrings are worn. On top of the lampwork beads, separated by two copper flower spacers and a single copper disc spacer, is a color shifting faceted Swarovski crystal bicone in a color called “medium vitrail.” Vitrail is a French word for “stained glass” which perfectly describes the crystals.  The colors shift as the angle of the light changes. It almost looks as if the goddess is reaching for a particularly brilliant aurora borealis display.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the SPIRAL GODDESS earrings are a perfect gift for the woman who adores ancient goddess symbols (and has a huge amount of goddess in herself!) and loves unique artisan handmade jewelry.
