- Unique Long Boho Dangles, Handmade OOAK -

https://www.etsy.com/prettygonzo/listing/692003963/colorful-mandala-earrings-buddha-charms?ref=shop_home_active_2&frs=1

These colorful mandala earrings feature artisan-made focals of spiritual art, Buddha charms, and dark red Rudraksha seed beads. The artisan created the focals with artist backboard and design paper, then finished them with a sealer. They are lightweight, with a thickness of just under 2mm. They are not suitable for water activites or the shower, but if cared for properly, they will continue to look beautiful and provide you with a pair of earrings that is truly a unique, one-of-a-kind creation.

The Buddha charms are made from silver-tone metal and detailed on both sides. They are substantial beads and have some weight. The Rudraksha beads are from a Dharma shop in Mystic, Connecticut, and came from Nepal. They are lightweight and have a lovely presence. They add to this pair's overall length of 3 inches.

These special earrings also include:
• Indian ceramic beads • TierraCast bead caps
• Silver jump rings • Swarovski crystals
• Sterling ear hooks • Clear rubber guards

Unique and meaningful, these mandala earrings with Buddha charms and Rudraksha seeds are sure to please anyone who finds inspiration in the spirituality of India and the Far East—or anyone who simply likes eye-catching boho earrings. They were handmade beaded by me with great care, thought, and best wishes for their destined wearer. They come on a PrettyGonzo earrings card and wrapped in a nice organiza bag, all set for gifting to someone who loves one-of-a-kind jewelry—perhaps you!

About Mandalas

A mandala is a meaningful abstract representation of the cosmos or universe. It is an essential component of meditation, ritual, and spirituality in Buddhism and Hinduism. The most complex mandalas are instructional guides through the cosmic spiritual world and along the pathway of Enlightment (Buddhism) or Samadhi (Hinduism). Most commonly in the West, mandalas are decorative objects. Like religious mandalas, they present symmetrical designs developed from a central hub, but their images and meaning will differ. The content of the best secular mandalas is typically intricate and pretty. They provoke an emotional response and convey a sense of peace, energy, or wonder. Even in a secular context, mandalas should give you a good feeling, and you should select designs that have a positive effect on your mood and emotions.

About Rudraksha Seeds
These interesting seeds come from a variety of evergreen that grows in the foothills of the Himalayas and certain areas of Southeast Asia. The name Rudraksha is a compound word, with Rudra representing the name Shiva (Hindu god) and aksha meaning "eyes," The common translation is "Shiva's Tears." The name reflects the role of Shiva in the etiology of the Rudraksha tree. In that legend, Shiva emerges from a long period of meditation with such strong emotions that he sheds a tear, which falls to the earth and grows into the first Rudraksha tree. The seeds from the tree are thus sacred, and in Hindu belief, they are thought to confer the spiritual protection of Shiva. These meaningful seeds are traditionally used as beads in Hindu and Buddhist malas (prayer beads).
