The EASTER ISLAND handmade earrings have such a whimsical quality to them, reminding me of the faces of the regal statues (moai) that are found on Easter Island. Mega-fun anytime you want to inject fanciful flair to your clothes of the day, the one of a kind earrings were created with Czech glass and Swarovski crystals. The highlight of the artisan earrings are the two-sided Czech glass face mask beads in a glowing aqua blue opaline glass. As you can see, the eyes are closed, looking as if they are in peaceful repose. The lustrous blue opal look beads have a great amount of texture - the nose, chin and cheeks are raised - highlighted by a bronze Picasso finish to bring out the glorious detail. Since the face mask beads are two sided, the earrings look fabulous from any angle and positively glow when worn. To perfectly complement the unique face beads, tri-cut Czech glass beads and Swarovski crystals are stacked on top. The Czech beads are a translucent aqua turquoise blue with an earthy matte Picasso finish. Three facets reveal the translucent glass and add subtle sparkle. Capping the Czech bead is a sparkling Swarovski crystal in a color called “white opal” a perfect foil for the opaline glass of the face beads.
