LGBTQ Equality Rainbow Bracelet
- Gemstones with Protective "Evil Eye" & Mala Beads -

https://www.etsy.com/prettygonzo/listing/713925823/gay-pride-equality-bracelet-rainbow?ref=shop_home_active_10&frs=1

Show your support for the LGBQT community with this lovely gay-pride rainbow stretch bracelet in a unisex style. This meaningful handmade piece emphasizes the message of equality using a shiny TierraCast silver-plated charm (made in USA) positioned prominently on the bracelet strand. Gemstones have been used to express the colors of the pride rainbow.

To give the bracelet an earthy, boho quality, I used round pearwood mala beads. Included with them are pewter daisy spacers, shiny TierraCast rhodium-plated heishi beads (made in USA), and pewter "evil eye" protective beads. At the rear of the bracelet is an additional evil eye bead, this one in resin with brown outlining (made in Nepal). The bracelet length is 7.5 inches and uses high-quality thick black cord that was made in the USA.

Meaningful and eye-catching, this gay pride rainbow stretch bracelet with an equality charm was designed and handmade beaded by me with care, thought, and best wishes for its destined wearer. It comes wrapped in a nice organza bag, all ready for gifting! Please note: this special bracelet comes with complimentary shipping.

ABOUT THE GEMSTONES
• Magnesite - This is a porous white mineral, which makes it a good choice for color enhancing. Traditionally, it is regarded as a power stone that has a calming effect on its wearer and that can foster the imagination, creative visualization, and self-esteem.

• Carnelian - A rich and regal-looking gemstone, carnelian has been used for jewelry since ancient times. It is associated with healing, courage building, fear dispelling, and protection against negative forces (as a talisman).

• Agate - Also valued since ancient times, agate is considered a protective stone that relieves stress and fosters a courageous spirit. Reputedly, it helps to increase self-esteem, decrease inner anger, promote harmony, and nurture calm and forgiveness. Agate is also  regarded as a lucky stone and boost to creativity!

• Jade - For centuries in the Far East, people have ascribed healing properties to jade. Among its associations are nobility, power, and royalty. Jade is believed to facilitate wisdom and peace. Genuine jade is very expensive. Today, there are affordable jades used for colorizing or heat treatment, such as you see in this bracelet.

• Lapis Lazuli - This has been used for jewelry since ancient times and was valued as a royal gemstone in ancient Egypt. There it was also used for decorative carvings and powdery cosmetics. It is traditionally regarded as a stone of universal truth, courage, and harmonious relationships. Some people believe it helps to increase creativity, mental clarity, and good judgment.

• Amethyst - This is traditionally considered a protective, talismanic stone. The name amethyst comes from the Greek word "amethusos," which means "not drunk." The gemstone is associated with the crown chakra, and is the birthstone for February. Amethysts are actually crystals and often have inclusions, clouding, and other interesting elements to them, as well as shadings of their distinctive purple color.

    1. Thanks, Catherine and Le Moosie. After making a custom-order gay-pride memorial bracelet for someone, I decided to add one to my shop. I feel strongly about the issue of LGBTQ equality. As my mom used to say, everyone is a child of God. :)
