The TALHAKIMT handmade earrings are definitely filled with an aged boho beauty. The one of a kind earrings feature Czech glass beads in an ancient tribal talhakimt (also called tanfouk) motif. The design is a Tuareg talisman that has been worn by people in Mali and Mauritania as hair ornaments and pedants or used as money since the 1700’s. The unique two-sided talhakimt beads used in the earrings are Czech glass given an antiqued finish: ivory colored glass with a dark brown, tan and pinkish Picasso finish.
To highlight the pink, artisan handmade lampwork beads with a glowing pearlized finish were used. Stacked above each lampwork beads, separated by a copper daisy spacer, are sparkling copper crystal faceted Swarovski crystals. Created for the woman who loves jewelry with a tribal boho flair, the TALHAKIMT earrings were carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.
