The exquisite TURQUOISE SKIES handmade necklace exudes the soul of the Desert Southwest’s vast sky. You can definitely see why turquoise is a sacred stone to the Navajo, Zuni and other Native Americans since it is called "fallen sky stones.". The chunky gemstone and silver necklace features smooth, oval shaped turquoise nuggets that are slightly graduated in size. The color of the stabilized genuine turquoise is mostly blue, but there are some greenish tinges, as well. All of the eye catching turquoise nuggets have a midnight black matrix that adds amazing definition to each and every piece.

In the front of the necklace, large sterling silver fancy beads that are a rounded cube shape separate the turquoise ovals. On each of the four sides of the sterling beads are four raised dots of granulated silver that were given a darker patina and then polished to bring out the details. The turquoise at the back of the necklace is separated by 3 mm sterling silver beads. A graceful sterling silver toggle clasp with a bow like design finishes the gemstone necklace perfectly.
