Pink Hollyhocks Flowers and Bee Earrings, Vintage Tin Handmade Jewelry

So cheerful and filled with spring and summer whimsy, the HOLLYHOCK DANCE handmade earrings are a perfect jewelry gift for a gardener or a woman who adores flowers. The one of a kind earrings feature upcycled vintage tin rectangles and two colors and shapes of Czech glass beads. The fun, lightweight rectangles were artisan fashioned from a vintage American cookie tin, the edges ground to a smooth, silky finish. Peachy pink hollyhocks with green leaves stand out against a pale blue background, both pieces showing a bit of brown branches at the top. Hollyhocks need pollinators - one vintage tin dangle has a sweet yellow and black bumblebee dances toward the flowers in one corner! A line of blue and white rectangles runs along one side of the rectangle with the bee. To continue with a flower theme, a copper daisy spacer was added to the bottom (front and back) of each rectangle to cover a hole and to add lovely texture. The back of the dangles are shiny gold colored. Because the vintage tin rectangles are naturally light in weight, these beauties are perfect for those with earrings weight sensitivity.

To perfectly highlight the colors of the hollyhocks, peachy pink Czech glass melon beads were placed above the flower dangles. The melon beads were made out of translucent and opaque glass with a metallic gold wash - they positively glow when the earrings are worn! Above the melons beads are small, translucent ruby red tri-cut beads with an earthy Picasso finish. Because the three cuts are like faceting, the ruby beads add subtle sparkle to the overall earrings design. Sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents finish the smile inducing earrings.
