The one of a kind necklace features an artisan-designed and hand cast pewter pendant with the rustic figure of a praying man or woman in an arch. Sparkling star cut amethyst, star cut pewter beads and sterling silver complement the pendant. The shape of the pendant, a lancet arch, is found on many cathedrals and churches built in the Gothic style, and are very common even today. The lancet arch has many architectural uses but the point at the top of the arch also symbolizes prayers going straight to heaven. Inside the arch is a praying figure, standing in flowing robes with hands folded at the chest. A set of thick vines behind the figure also creates a natural arch.  Richly hued natural amethyst gemstone beads gives the necklace a royal feel. The dark purple amethyst is “star cut” with triangular facets on every side for maximum sparkle. The amethyst was placed in groups of three to represent the Holy Trinity - there are six groups on each side of the necklace. A small sterling silver bead separates each gemstone.
