Beaded Bracelet, Black Pink Metallic

This pretty, feminine pink and black beaded bracelet is approx. 7.5 inches long including handmade toggle clasp and it is .5 inches wide. It is lightweight and it feels nice on the wrist. The handmade beaded bead is about 10mm.

I used 11/0 metallic seed beads, 6/0 seed beads and #2 straight bugle beads for this bracelet. Stitched one bead at a time this bracelet is an embellished right angle weave. I used a beaded bead and a circle of beads for the toggle clasp.

Zia Sun Necklace, Red Coral Turquoise New Mexico Handmade Jewelry Gift

The "Sacred Zia" handmade necklace features an artisan made Zia sun sterling silver pendant, red coral and turquoise tri-cut Czech glass.

The enchanting SACRED ZIA handmade necklace is filled with a soul satisfying sense of the mysteries of the Desert Southwest. The one of a kind necklace features a glowing, artisan made sterling Zia sun pendant. Red coral tubes and turquoise colored Czech glass beads complement the pendant perfectly. The handmade pendant was created from tarnish resistant sterling silver Zia sun pendant, a symbol that has long been sacred to the Zia Indians and is featured on the New Mexico state flag. The pendant was cast with a raised sun and recessed sun rays in the middle of the round pendant and then lightly oxidized to bring out the fine details of the symbol. The Zia pendant was then polished to a mirror like finish (which made it hard to photograph as it reflected my silhouette, the sky and clouds and other nearby things) on both the front and back. Please be assured, the pendant is shiny sterling silver. The back has the .925 stamp of sterling silver and the initials of the artist. A sterling silver closed ring securely connects the Zia sun pendant to the main body of the necklace.

Red coral tubes and turquoise tri-cut Czech glass add a definite Santa Fe / Southwest vibe to the beautiful necklace.

Red and turquoise are colors associated with Santa Fe and the Desert Southwest, so they were used to continue with the spirit of the Zia sun. Rustic red coral tubes make up the major part of the necklace. The rich red coral is termed “rustic” because the tubes are not exactly the same size, both in length and diameter. The larger tubes can be found in he front, with the smaller to the back. Between the first eight tubes are turquoise colored tri-cut Czech glass beads. Each turquoise bead has three facets in it (tri-cut) to add subtle sparkle. At the back of the necklace, the turquoise beads can be found between each coral grouping of three. Small sterling silver beads separate each piece of coral and each turquoise bead from its neighbor. A beautiful sterling silver toggle clasp with a “ray” design flawlessly finishes the necklace. Their symbol, a red circle with groups of rays pointing in four directions, has been painted on ceremonial vases, drawn on the ground around campfires and used to introduce newborns to the Sun for centuries. The Zia symbol represents the Circle of Life: the four directions, the four seasons, the four times of day and the four stages of life. Chunky Sodalite Beaded Necklace

This necklace is beaded with large chunky faceted and smaller round sodalite gemstones. The sodalite gemstones have a subtle, semi-gloss shine with a natural earthy look. They are mostly dark blue with white or grayish-white markings. Beaded with top quality 49 strand beading wire and double crimped to support the stones. The addition of wire guardians prevents wire abrasion at the clasp. See the length of the necklace below.

The large chunky faceted sodalite gemstones measure 12 mm x 16 mm. The round stones measure 4 mm and 6 mm. These smaller stones separate the chunky stones and they are also beaded at the upper portion of the necklace. The necklace fastens easily with a generous size antiqued silver hook style clasp. A white cotton filled box is included. So nice for gift giving!

Necklace length: 22" (55.88 cm)

The denim blue color in the sodalite stones is a much-desired color for jewelry. This necklace looks fabulous with so many other clothing colors, and of course, your denim blue jeans!

The amazing nebula of colors all floating in this dichroic glass cabochon pendant include shades of green, deep blue, black, teal, violet and gold.  There is layer upon beautiful layer of color and texture that will capture the eye and the imagination.  The sparkle and color shifts in this dichroic cabochon are mesmerizing and reminiscent of nebulae and celestial beauty.  This is a fully fused and capped dichroic glass cabochon pendant and is one-of-a-kind.
The setting is a silver plated bail made in Mexico. Because the plating can be scratched, the pendant should be stored in it's own box and not be jumbled with other pieces of sharp jewelry. It measures 1.75 inches wide by 2 inches high, including the wide bail. The setting beautifully frames the brilliant colors in the pendant and will require a thick necklace to support the pendant. About the Lotus as a Symbol
As beautiful in meaning as it is in form, the lotus is one of our most positive symbols. It holds significance for anyone undergoing life changes, working toward inner peace, or dealing with life's many struggles.
There are many types of natural lotus, but the symbolic variety is typically the white or pink lotus that carries spiritual importance in India and Asiatic countries. Daisy Flowers and Hearts Earrings, Copper Purple Fuchsia Handmade Jewelry

The cheerful "Bonjour" handmade earrings feature copper daisy flower and heart charms, translucent lampwork beads and sparkling Swarovski crystals.

The BONJOUR handmade earrings will make you smile and want to say “Hello” to the warmer days of spring and summer each and every time you wear them. Beautiful one of a kind floral earrings, they were created from copper daisy flower charms, artisan spotted purple and fuchsia lampwork beads and sparkling Swarovski crystals. The oh-so-pretty flower charms were individually artisan created from pure copper. The design is a sweet daisy in a heart, the flower raised to provide wonderful texture to the charms. Torched at high heat to give a pleasing patina, the charms were then polished to bring out the detail and sealed. The daisies have a beautiful copper glow that the photos don’t do justice to. Since the flower and heart charms were individually created, you can see that there are slight differences in each charm - guaranteed handmade! The back of the charms are fairly smooth. 

The copper heart shaped daisy flower charms and lampwork beads were individually artisan handmade.

Stacked above each daisy heart charms is a speckled lampwork glass beads and two colors of Swarovski crystals. The lampwork beads, which were individually artisan handmade, started out as clear glass. When the glass was still in its molten stage, plum purple and fuschia pink frit was applied to add fun color and darker fuchsia spots. These translucent beads absolutely glow when the earrings are worn! Copper bicone beads were nestled into the top and bottom of each lampie. Perfectly matching the colors of the lampwork beads and to add nega sparkle, two colors of faceted Swarovski crystal bicones were used: amethyst purple and fuchsia. A single 2 mm copper bead separates the two crystals. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the BONJOUR handmade earrings were created for the woman who loves to wear cheerful artisan jewelry! “Bonjour” is French for “hello.”
