Believe Angel Wing Necklace with Turritella Fossil Agate and Pearls, Handmade Jewelry
If you believe that angels are spiritual messengers sent between heaven and earth, then the one of a kind BELIEVE pendant necklace is definitely a piece of unique jewelry you must wear! The meaningful handmade necklace features an artisan designed and individually hand cast bronze pendant with an exquisitely detailed angel wing and the word “Believe” along the bottom. To add even more beauty and texture to the pendant, the bail was fashioned from a folded over wing. The backside of the pendant is textured and has a raised area at the bottom right corner with the business name of the artist.
To perfectly highlight the eye catching angel wing pendant, turritella fossil agate nuggets and small heishe pearls were used, along with copper bicone spacer beads. Turritella agate, which was formed approximately 50 million years ago, is an amazing gemstone since it contains actual freshwater Elimia tenera snail fossils! Look closely and you’ll see a whole multitude of white to tan colored fossils that contrast beautifully against the brownish agate base. The turritella nuggets are faceted and are slightly graduated in size, the larger found at the front of the necklace and the smaller nuggets at the back.
Separating the first six turritella nuggets are small white pearl heishe in groups of three. The heishe pearls have an amazing lustre and positively glow. Faceted copper bicone spacer beads flank both sides of the grouping of pearls and separate individual turritella at the back of the necklace. A textured bronze hook clasp set finishes the unique necklace.
