with Tassel & Lotus Charm

https://www.etsy.com/prettygonzo/listing/631806769/tasseled-bracelet-mala-inspired-crystal?ref=shop_home_feat_1&frs=1

This gold-tasseled yoga bracelet features a pretty lotus charm and crystals and gemstones in the chakra color spectrum. It is a stretch-style bracelet, the length 7 inches. Also included are white glass pearls, ornate pewter spacer beads, "evil eye" pewter beads, high-quality elastic cord, and sterling silver rounds. A meaningful piece, this bracelet would be a wonderful companion for practitioners of yoga, tai chi, or meditation, or any spiritually minded person drawn to Buddhist and Hindu symbols and spiritual beliefs.

The bracelet's colorful gemstones, which represent the chakra, are all 6mm in size and include red bamboo coral (dyed), carnelian, yellow jade (dyed), green aventurine, turquoise magnesite (dyed), lapis lazuli, and purple amethyst. The crystals that represent the chakra spectrum are from Swarovski, as are the bracelet's white pearls. The latter lend a sense of purity and spiritual light to the entire bracelet. The pewter "evil eye" bead is a contemporary rendering of a talisman that has held significance as a protective force in various cultures since ancient times.

This tasseled mala-inspired chakra bracelet makes an eye-catching stack bracelet. It was designed and handmade by me with great care, thought, and best wishes for its destined wearer. A lovely piece of yoga jewelry, it comes wrapped in a nice organza bag, all ready for gifting to someone who loves meaningful and inspirational jewelry—perhaps that someone will be you!

About the Lotus as a Symbol
As beautiful in meaning as it is in form, the lotus is one of our most positive symbols. It holds significance for anyone undergoing life changes, working toward inner peace, or dealing with life's many struggles.

There are many types of natural lotus plants, but the symbolic variety is typically the white or pink lotus that carries spiritual importance in India and Asiatic countries. In Hinduism, this aquatic flower often serves as a seat or platform for divinities such as Vishnu and Ganesh; in Buddhism, it provides a seat for bodhisattvas. Lotuses adorn headdresses and crowns in the iconography of these religions. In Tibetan scroll paintings (thangkas), they often float through skies or on rivers. Divinities and bodhisattvas often hold them as if they were precious jewels, and indeed, in meaning, the lotus is the most precious jewel of all.

The key to this meaning is the purity and beauty of the blossom despite its origins from a seed embedded in the mud of the water's bed below. Despite the world of illusion and egocentric desires (symbolized by the mud), awareness, growth, and transformation are possible (symbolized by the blossom). The lotus thus represents spiritual flowering and attainment—a great awakening from the dark, shadowy regions of ignorance and misunderstanding into the illumination of truth, beauty, and wisdom.
