These gorgeous handmade dichroic fused glass dangle earrings glow
beautifully in the light! The color of the round cabochon ranges from a
pale pink to a rich purple with hints of blue-gray when the earrings
move in the light! These glass gems sparkle and color-shift with every
movement.
The dichroic layer of the cabochons have been caped with clear glass
and fully fired to 1500 degrees F. The cabochons were then carefully
annealed in a digital kiln for beauty and longevity.
The small round dichroic cabochons are mounted in a beautiful 925
sterling silver setting with strong ear wires. There is a tiny silver
accent at the top of the cabochon. These are good quality earrings that
will become one of your favorites! These are my favorite earring
findings.

Dichroic glass was first developed by NASA as part of their satellite
mirrors. The exceptionally thin coatings are applied to glass in very
controlled environments. Di-chroic means two colors and this glass
reflects/transmits different colors depending on the angle of light.
When it is worn with different colors, it appears to pick up and reflect
some of those colors so it really enhances the total look. I call this
the "mood" of the glass. This is a jewelry box favorite that many of my
customers reach for over and over. I hope you enjoy wearing these
