Hot, hot, hot in all their flaming red orange beauty, the unique WILDFIRE handmade spike earrings are extremely trendy and fun to wear often! Jewelry with a rustic boho vibe, the one of a kind earrings feature artisan made ceramic spikes, premium Czech glass roller beads, copper and sterling silver. The vibrantly colored spikes were individually artisan handmade from porcelain ceramic and painted with a glaze called “wildfire.” As you can see, the color is intense with shades of orange, red, yellow and specks of green. The top of each spike was coated with bronze clay and then were kiln fired at high heat for strength and durability. Since the spikes were individually handmade, they are very similar in color but also different, as you can see in the photo, adding great rustic charm.  To perfectly complement the spikes, premium Czech glass roller beads were used at the top of the spikes, separated by several layers of rustic copper wire wrapping. The faceted beads were created with a somewhat translucent green and aqua blue base glass. To add earthy goodness, a heavy Picasso finish was added in shades of mossy green, copper and medium blue. Since the Czech roller beads are faceted, they add subtle sparkle to the earrings design.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the one of a kind WILDFIRE earrings were created for the woman who adores jewelry with a huge dose of boho beauty!

Even though the photos don’t show it, the one of a kind EARTH SONG handmade necklace is filled to the brim with eye-catching sparkle, something surely to sing about. The earthy necklace features an exquisitely glittering druzy agate pendant. Faceted brown fire agate, red garnet and sterling silver complement the druzy pendant perfectly. What is druzy? Druzy (or druse) refers to a coating of fine crystals over the surface of a rock cavity, usually within a geode or something similar. The druzy agate gemstone pendant is teardrop shaped and has a cavity running up the right side. The face of the pendant is absolutely covered in breathtaking, off-white crystals, looking as if someone sprinkled a thick layer of fine sugar crystals on it. And do the crystals sparkle and sparkle and then sparkle some more, shifting as the angle of light changes. The back of the pendant is smooth with the lovely natural pattern of the agate mother rock.  Adding glamor to the design and highlighting the pendant perfectly are faceted fire agate rounds and red garnet heishe along with sterling silver. A type of banded chalcedony that is famous for its intricate patterns, the colors of the fire agate range from black to root beer brown to pale beige.  Many of the stones are translucent and seem to capture the light.  In between each grouping of agates are three hand cut red garnet heishe. Now available in silver plating are my unique handmade music note wire wrapped hoop earrings. The combination silver plated treble clef and 8^th note or quaver charm dangles inside the hoop forms. To add interest to the earrings I wire wrapped the top and bottom portions in silver plated tarnish resistant wire. The lever back wires for pierced ears are also silver plated. The hoop forms are 30 mm, considered a medium size.

The treble clef and 8^th notes measures 20 mm long and 24 mm wide.

Poppy Garden Earrings, Klimt Flowers Tibetan Beads Handmade Jewelry

The RED POPPIES handmade earrings feature Klimt inspired poppy garden dangles, Tibetan resin beads and orange Czech glass - unique art jewelry for women.

Perfect jewelry for the woman who loves lightweight, boho style earrings inspired by a famous artist, the colorful RED POPPIES earrings will be treasured by any art lover and worn time and time again. Long and dangly, the one of a kind earrings feature Gustav Klimt inspired red poppy garden polymer clay dangles and amber resin Tibetan beads. The amazing Klimt influenced dangles were individually artisan made from black polymer clay. The multicolored poppy design was drawn freehand into the clay, shimmering acrylic pigments were hand painted in layers for depth and two layers of a crystal protectant were added for many years of wearing enjoyment. The unique hand painted design is filled with vibrant orange red poppies with sweeping swirls in complementing aqua blue, orange, copper and gold pigments.  A black “frame” enhances the flowers. The back side is finished in mixed metallic pigments with the artist’s mark. As you can see, the dangles are different but similar in design. Since the dangles are made from polymer clay, the earrings are very lightweight to wear.  Stacked above the red poppy dangles, perfectly highlighting them, are Tibetan resin beads and glowing orange Czech glass beads. Handmade by artisans in Nepal in the traditional manner of mixing resin with amber dust, the vintage-look Tibetan beads are a rich honey amber color that are somewhat translucent. Adding even more eye interest, the resin beads are inlaid around the middle with dotted brass wire. Stacked above each Tibetan bead, separated by a copper disc spacer, is a single translucent orange Czech glass bead with a light metallic finish that glows beautifully when the earrings are worn.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the RED POPPIES handmade earrings are a perfect gift for the woman who loves art jewelry, especially those inspired by the flower garden paintings of Gustav Klimt.

The grand piano charm dangles from a sterling silver cable chain that fastens with a small sterling silver trigger-style clasp and tag fastener.

Included is a small, white embossed, cotton-filled gift box that has a handmade insert chain card. See photo 1. The box with be gift wrapped in music note print paper. See the last photo. The color of the insert card and music paper style may vary.

Owl Earrings, Birds Birder Faux Vintage Brown Blue Handmade Jewelry

The WISE OWLS handmade earrings feature artisan owl dangles, amber Czech glass and Swarovski crystals - unique bird jewelry for women.

Gorgeous nature inspired jewelry for the woman who loves birds, especially majestic owls, the unique WISE OWLS handmade earrings will quickly become favorites. The one of a kind earrings feature artisan created owl charms that look as if they were pulled from a book of antique bird illustrations. Faceted, translucent amber glass beads, indicolite Swarovski crystals, copper and sterling silver complement the owl dangles. The eye catching, square-shaped owl charms look as if they are vintage jewelry pieces. But they are faux vintage, having been individually hand cut, filed and sanded from modern copper with a permanent metal owl transfer.  The beautiful owls, which look very similar to barn owls, are light beige and a medium cinnamon brown color with darker feather markings. The head is gazing to the left and features a whitish, heart-shaped face with a dark eye and a pale beak. The background is a somewhat mottled sky blue. Since the dangles were individually handmade, there are slight differences which adds a wonderful antique vibe.  Because the charms are made from copper, the earrings are very lightweight to wear.  To perfectly highlight the colors in the owl charms, faceted Czech glass beads and Swarovski crystals were stacked above the dangles. The translucent Czech glass beads are a rich amber color with bits of opaque white.  Since the beads are faceted, they add subtle sparkle to the earrings design.
