About Celtic Knots
There are several variations of the Celtic knot, but all share the perceivable absence of a beginning or an ending to their interlacing line: they are endless knots. Also known as mystic knots, they may represent eternity and timelessness, and thus have a spiritual dimension. The knot in this gemstone necklace has four quadrants, which may symbolize the four seasons in nature or simply the ongoing cyclical quality of nature. Some consider Celtic knots protective of current good fortune; others see them as symbols of the integration of the self.
About Jasper & Carnelian
Jasper belongs to the chalcedony family of minerals and is a type of quartz. It is traditionally regarded as a protective stone that nurtures vitality. Stability, tranquility, and healing are all commonly associated with jasper. Lovely warm carnelian has been used for jewelry since ancient times. Traditional beliefs associate it with healing, courage building, fear dispelling, and protection against negative forces (as a talisman).
